1hr 45 mins to deliver a 5 min car run , cold when arrived, grease all over wrap , dry food .never use the chippy again .

Bought a take away meal deal 2 garlic pizza was dry couldn’t even taste garlic also bought nachos with salsa NO THEY GAVE ME CHILLI SAUCE have an allergy to chilli phoned them eventually got to speak to manager all she did was apologise no refund no offer of a tub of salsa just I’m sorry and ready to end call till I said what about salsa oh I can send one to you a bit late absolutely shocking we live on the area and our kids use it often .. no more let’s hope I don’t take an anifalatic shock due to their incompetence .... Also Shop Changed it’s name to ANGELAS . Well Angela need to make sure your staff know what their doing and should be able to manage a busy shop

Ordered a fish. The photo speaks for itself. Use this chippy often as it’s local, but don’t think we will bother from now on.

........ right from the off. Lady taking the order appeared to find it a challenge to listen for more than one word at a time. Order had to be repeated several times. Chips - extremely dry & certainly not a decent sized portion. Lack of salt & sauce. Pizza - topping added on to a margarita- arrived quickly after placing order - topping in box not on the pizza. Kebab - disgusting. Meat not fresh. Pitta stale - hard and inedible. I’m sure it gets a fair amount of customers but we won’t be back.

the old Morrelis was fantatstic busy friendly efficient it has now changed to guess what GOREFRY not as big a menu as before and sadly not as effiecient but saying that food was excelent

El servicio era muy lento y el personal no son tan amables pero la comida estaba bien. Probablemente no volveré a menos que ningún otro lugar abierto.

I visited here for fish and chips. Food was scrummy and people serving are polite and nothing is too much trouble. I will definately re-visit.

Top Notch Grub, Would not go past the place. If you are in the Gorbridge area its a must try. Keep up the great work Tram Morellis. :-)

The place used to be good and really busy, but it's starting to go down hill now. The food is not that great anymore and they don't put much sauce on your food, and the staff are not very cheerful and the lady serving was a bit abrupt.

Is it or isn't it? My wife and I regularly ate take away food from here for about 5 years. In the last 5 weeks there has been a change in the quality of food from here. The food is greasier, the potatoes appear to have changed, consistency and flavour and there are rumours about a change in ownership. I have always enjoyed my fish suppers and the name Morreli was regarded as the best chip shop in the Gorebridge area. Whatever has changed, please put it right I want my Morreli's back.

Before this chip shop was taking over again by morello we used to use it every week got on great with the staff who where very friendly unfortunately since it was taking over again the food is very greasy and stodgy . The staff aren't very friendly or polite

Despite being back under Morelli's management these days, I have to say that this takeaway is nowhere near as good as it was when it first opened. Then, you could rely on the food being freshly cooked and good value, but standards seem to have dropped considerably since then. Going by our past couple of experiences, the chips have always been greasy and the batter on the fish soggy. We've also ordered delivery on a few occasions and every time, something has been missing from the order. Not to be recommended unless they pull their socks under considerably, I'm afraid.

Great fish and chips very friendly staff reasonable prices. Kids menu good. Also nice pizzas and kebabs

Fish always grey with gloopy batter. Grumpy staff drown everything with sauce perhaps a ploy to disguise the taste! How difficult can it be to buy fresh fish and make crispy batter. We are only 10 minutes from the coast after all

Ordered mixed kebab pizza, chicken pakora n chips, got home mixed kebab was just chicken kebab pizza and there were no chilli n salad sauces for one if the dishes......... Chips were nice !! Defiantly think it isn't as good as it used to be, telephone order taker was quite abrupt but not sure if it was her manner or there was something wrong with the phone !

was good when first opened .went downhill in my opinion.got fish and chicken and they took them out hot plate and reheated them the grease was shocking and chicken tough.dont know wot I was thinking should hace refused them

This is the best chippy in scotland, fish the size of whales,1000 chips with every supper, pizzas, mmmmmm, kebabs so tasty....only draw back,, grumpiest staff in the world, not helpful, no patients....frier guy was sound but sack the females
