Mor Ffein takeaway in Pembrokeshire

We were visiting St Dogmaels for the week and decided to treat ourselves to a ‘chippy tea’ for our final night. We were so glad we did! The shop was busy upon arrival which was a promising first sign. The young lady serving me was really polite and friendly, and patient considering I wasn’t a local, and was getting to grips with what they sold (no battered sausages etc). When we got home, the portions were sizeable and tasted delicious! My boyfriend was particularly a fan of the curry sauce, which tasted different to my regular but still delicious! The chips were smaller/thinner than what I’d normally expect from a chip shop, but they were super crispy which was amazing! All food was served in cardboard containers too which was great. Would definitely visit again if back in the area.

Although the people working there were all really friendly. On two occasions with in the last year we have ended up feeling very nauseas after eating here and on the last time ended up throwing up after a small portion of scampi and chips. I suspect its simply a case of not changing the oil enough. Hope this gets sorted out as apart from this it seems to be a nice place.

Very special chippy. Friendly welcoming staff and great food. Fantastic batter on the delicious fish, thin and crispy like a tempura. Extras very high quality too particularly the curry sauce which is a bit different (in a good way) to normal chippy curry sauce. Can't wait to visit again (tonight actually!).

Great fish n chips, good portions and the restaurant is absolutely spotlessly clean. Friendly service - definitely worth a visit..

Having had a long tiring days holidaying we checked out what takeouts were available in the area. We visited this chip shop and had the Vegan Chilli and Chips. It was excellent, a good sized portion too. If we ever stay over this way again we would definitely use again.

Being a vegetarian, chippy are not my go to place as the menus are so limited. After a very stress filled day at work and finishing late, I decided to grab some chips on my way home. To my surprise they had gone made veggie chilli on the menu. All I can say is I’m now full to the brim and the chilli was perfect. Chips crispy and fresh. I really enjoyed my tea and more chop shops could learn a thing or two from this place.

Fish and chips can be very hit and miss in this part of the world but this place doesn't disappoint. It was good when it was Bowen's but it's good now, just a bit different. If you're in Cardigan or nearby, THIS is the one to go to. Cracking.

Excellent Fish, great fish cakes, chips were good. Reasonable prices and a fair portion. One of the best locally and friendly staff.

Keep an eye on their socials for specials, they don’t disappoint! You can’t go wrong with their lightly battered cod either!

Local fish & chip shop, visited after lots of people rated it as good. I have to say , I was very disappointed - I ordered cheese & leek rissole with chips. The chips were ok (but I prefer chunkier chips) but the rissole must have been sitting around a long time. The flavour was good, but it was quite dry & the bottom half of it was rock hard - couldn't get my fork into it at all. In the end, I gave it to the dog as it was too hard.
