Appalling service. Ordered at 17.00 for delivery at 19.30 and failed to deliver. Do not use for delivery. Absolutely useless.

BEST CURRY IN SURREY. This place is amazing. We are probably on our 10th order over several months and every time is outstanding. The butter paneer is a huge favourite. Every single dish is outstanding. Service is amazing. I would highly highly recommend.

I didn't visit the restaurant but got a delivery. Ive known for years that you can't get a good Indian in Godalming but after two years of not bothering I gave it a whirl. What a mistake. Absolutely swimming in oil, and I genuinely mean swimming. I could see my rice floating on oil. I drained 4 table spoons (TABLE SPOONS) of oil from the two main dishes I ordered. That's 4 table spoons per dish. Like what's the point in serving oil plus a curry....? The only good bit was the divery driver lady was awesome and super friendly. I ate 2 moutfulls and binned the rest. I'm. Not a harsh critic at all, but let's get honest about Godalming curries. All disgusting.

I live in Guildford but I only order Indian takeaway from here, now. The food is delicious. And the complementary chocolate rose and sag aloo on valentine's Day was a nice surprise!

Found out that Mo the chef from The Wharf/Charterhouse plus Abdul from the same establishments had gone into business together and taken this place over (was previously Mogul Spice which I wouldn't touch). Ordered delivery last night and it was 10/10! So tasty, delivered on time, just perfect. Won't go anywhere else now. Highly recommend.

This takeaway is now by far our favourite in Godalming. Food is lovely, and always very consistent. Staff are always polite and attentive.

Lets get one thing straight, this is a different takeaway to mogul spice. Same shop and that's where the similarity ends. The food now is outstanding. Give it a go. You will not be disappointed. The Tandoori salmon shaslik is just amazing. I did get a meal once from mogul spice and swore I would never eat from that takeaway ever again but this once again is not Mogul spice.I hope this gives you the confidence to try it again.

This tiny take-away restaurant has had a complete overhaul and we regularly order from here as it is good value and always excellent quality. The free poppadoms are a bonus

There is a bit of confusion on here as Royal Spices opened after a major refit on the site of the Mogul Spice restaurant. To clarify, Royal Spices are some of the former staff of the Charterhouse and my first Takeaway from them was yesterday. I too had the King Prawn Masala and yes there were 3 Prawns. 3 Giant prawns is a cracking sauce. The whole meal was a delight and happy that I have plenty left for Breakfast.

We recently moved to Godalming and this evening we decided to walk into town and order from Mogul Spices, but upon what we saw we did not and never will. Firstly, our walk on the pavement almost ended in being run over by the large woman who we later deduced delivered food for the establishment. Pavements are for walking on, not driving and parking on! Whilst we were looking at the menu we noticed that neither her, nor her son that was with her (!) was wearing any PPE - not even gloves - there was no social distancing between them and the staff in the takeaway, the child was touching eveything and then licked his hand (ewww!), this was not cleaned. But really shocked me was the woman who had a delivery to make put the receipt IN HER MOUTH and then shoved in the bag with the food. Absolutely disgusting! After we saw that we walked away quickly. I would not trust this establishment to cook my food and deliver it safely!

I ordered a takeaway from this restaurant for the first time. The order I placed was made in advance online for a delivery at 6 pm, food arrived bang on time and the delivery driver was nice and polite, couldn’t fault it so far. The food was slightly hit and miss the rice, poppadoms, onion bhajis, and paratha were all good. The main courses tasted lovely but I don’t expect To pay £10.95, for a Tandoori King prawn masala that contains three prawns, yes no joke three prawns and masses of delicious sauce such a shame as if there had been more prawns it would’ve been amazing. The Tandoori lamb chop was not as described at all. I expected some lamb chops covered in a delicious sauce when in fact there were five maybe six small pieces of diced lamb, no chops in sight! again the sauce was very tasty just the meat let it down as I was expecting something different. I assume they had run out of lamb chops so just bunged in a few pieces of diced lamb. All in all very tasty food just let down by the lack of prawns and a rather oddly described lamb dish.

Cracking little indian takeaway I use it weekly without fail and never disappoints!! Staff really friendly and food always ready in reasonable time and prices very good!! Highly recommended

Arrived early, nice poppadoms... But both korma and tikka tasted vile! Must’ve had spoiled yoghurt or something because they were inedible. Ordered elsewhere.

Food is always good never a problem.

First time i have used Mogul Spices. Ordered on line, paid on line, collected on time I asked and staff very courteous ( and social distancing).Food was very very good i have to say.Prefer to eat my curry in a restaurant but as it's only take away for the forseeable you cannot really go wrong with Mogul so this is where my curry is coming from until we get our freedom!

Very good dishes with good levels of spice and flavour. Chicken excellent quality and recommend the garlic chilli dish. Extra popodom and salad appreciated. Will order again.

Mogul Spices have embraced the post-truth era. This started to become clear to us when we rang them 1hr 30 mins after ordering, to be told the delivery driver was on his way. A follow up call 15 minutes later revealed this not to be true, as the food had not yet left. Instead we were told our card details were wrong, which was holding up dispatch. Again not true as they had processed our payment at the start of this sorry saga. A further 15 mins later (so a delivery time of 2 hours) the food arrived. The harassed looking driver explained that the reason for delay was staff shortages. He assured us the food was fresh and had not been sitting around for hours. It was hard to judge if this was true as the food was not of sufficient quality that such a wait would be noticeable. The vegetable curries all tasted the same. The starters were greasy. The lamb dishes we ordered has some merit: Achari was tasty although will be too hot for most; Ada not bad but some ginger pieces were much too big; Methi was quite good. This is a takeaway though, so delivering food in reasonable time is one of the main things that they have to get right. They failed terribly this time. If the food was wonderful then they could be excused. But it wasn’t, and their excuses only annoyed rather than placated us. Avoid this place.

Don't bother... waste your money... or if you enjoy this type of food .. fair play... it turns out I have write more than 100 letters to be able to post this .... so once again it's terrible don't waste your time

I’ve been visiting Mogul Spices for sometime now and it always hits the spot! The Garlic Chilli Chicken Tikka is my regular choice, it’s full of flavour and wonderfully prepared, I always have a Masala sauce to accompany it. The prices are very reasonable and the service is quick - I would definitely recommend collecting your order if you can as the staff are always busy especially on a Saturday night. I highly recommend Mogul Spices and I give yes— six stars. Can’t wait for Saturday night!Mark

Just enjoyed an incredibly fresh and delicious takeaway from here. We have had many many curries in our time and both my partner and I agreed this was the best one we have had, possibly ever. My paneer was so well cooked and the sauce rich and flavoursome. Can't wait to try more from here!

We have sampled many curry houses around Godalming and Guildford in the past 20 years. None are anywhere near as good as Mogul Spices. This is our favourite and they are consistently the best tasting. In the 100's of times we have visited, once or twice the order has been incorrectly prepared but they always make up for it next time around.Excellent.

Mogul spices is my go-to takeaway, I visit regularly and each time the food is amazingly tasty, and the staff are friendly. With each order you get a free poppadom aswell as sauces which is a brillaint added bonus! To note, they don’t take card payments under £10 which is always helpful to know. Highly recommend. La calidad de la comida de distancia varía y puede y ha resultado en mi mujer y yo, después de diferentes colores en una carne de pollo al curry. Algunas de las carnes parecían ser mayores que el resto del plato. Hemos viajado a la India en numerosas ocasiones y sé de buena comida india cuando nos gusto. . . . . . . . Esto no es bueno..

Después de probar prácticamente todos los indios en la zona en los últimos 10 años, hemos encontrado Magnatas a ser mejor. Los platos son de spicer y tener un poco de ponche generalmente blander comparado a los indios de la zona. El único inconveniente es que es sólo para llevar o entrega.

Mi familia y yo estábamos muy ansiosos de nuestra india. Encargar la hora del té el sábado. La comida llegó muy rápido, lo que siempre es bastante preocupante. Nos derecho a estar preocupado, la carne parecía como si unos días viejo, probablemente alrededor de 5 o 6 pequeñas piezas de cordero duro duro. Salsa era tan finas y sin sabor, mi esposa no podría explicar la diferencia entre su vaso de agua y la salsa grasosa desagradable (aparte de la apariencia). Realmente muy mala para llevar, de hecho este es el peor que he experimentado para llevar y me refiero de todos los alimentos que hemos comido. Puede que suene dramático pero seriamente si este restaurante, por favor evitar como la peste.

Mi esposa y yo hemos descubierto que una llevar especias pueden comprar en Mogul varían enormemente de visita a visita y la calidad y frescura de los mismos ingredientes como la carne también puede variar enormemente. Ciertamente no se me ocurriría comprar un tomar distancia de allí y sentir más confianza en hacerlo cuando sea necesario por visitar uno de los restaurantes locales de la India. Comer sano!

Nos dieron una toma al azar de aquí después de trasladarse a la zona de Londres. Nos dieron una comida para dos y estaba delicioso. Ahora sorprendieron al leer las malas críticas. No sé si ahora hay un chef pero honestamente puedo decir que fue el mejor curry que había tenido en años. Era tan agradable que nos volvimos unos días después cuando la familia estaba de visita y fue tan delicioso!

Hay mucha variedad en Godalming para llevar curry - me dejé llevar por la salsa y la ensalada y poppadoms menta en el menú.

Compramos una llevar una noche de sábado y la comida era absolutamente terrible con pollo de diversos colores cuando corte abierto. Claramente algunos parecían frescos y otras un poco fuera de comer por fecha en nuestra opinión. Sabemos nuestro curry y he viajado y comido en India en numerosas ocasiones. No te arriesgues a comer a este lugar que no lo haríamos de nuevo!

Me quejé y todo lo que me dieron fue "bueno". Fue sólo entonces me di cuenta que cambiaron los dueños. Por favor evitar.

He sido cliente de Mogul especias durante muchos años. No tienen que sentarse en el restaurante, sólo comida para llevar. Ellos brindan localmente alrededor de Godalming y los pueblos circundantes, (normalmente alrededor de 45 minutos), lo cual es una ventaja. Si eso es demasiado largo para ti, Pregunta cuánto tiempo se tardará en entregar a su dirección antes de pedir. Si tienes prisa, recogerlo del llevar usted mismo.
