After a day out with our Son we realised at 07.20 PM that Moes closed at 9 PM. We rang and were able to secure a table for 7.30 for 3 of us. On arrival we were shown immediately to the table and a drinks order was taken. After a few minutes we were ready to order and they have a system where you ring a bell on your table to get the attention of a waiter or waitress. This worked very well throughout our visit and the food service was very efficient. The food was of good quality for the price and the portions very generous. Our son lives next to the Junction so whenever we visit this place will be a regular.

Moes Grill is situated very close to the Holiday Inn Express in Antrim and only has limited parking outside the restaurant but there is a lot more close by. The menu has a good selection of meat dishes, fish, pasta etc and some surf and turf dishes as well. My Atlantic cod, chips, mushy peas and tartar sauce was very good although I'd have preferred the fish to be shorter and thicker to really appreciate the cod flakes. The mushy peas were proper mushy peas and the chips were nice and chunky. There is no wine by the glass, its either a 75cl bottle or a 17.5cl quarter bottle which at £4.50 is about average but the Atlantic cod was only £10.50 which was excellent value. I really liked the idea of a buzzer on the table for when you wanted service - its a pity more restaurants dont do this - and how about keypads to even place your order. The restaurant is very family friendly with lots of high chairs and very friendly staff.

From the outside the safari restaurant looks rather underwhelming but don’t let that put you off booking a table and enjoying a meal here. The menu has lots of choices, service is prompt and friendly,
