The pasta was exquisite, complemented by an impressive wine selection, in a warm, intimate setting. We've dined there for both Valentine's Day and with longtime friends, and each time the service was attentive and welcoming.

Not enough staff and it was rather dark. Can't see what you are eating. It was expensive to eat especially the portion sizes. then slap a service charge without asking. We all must have spent £900 that night so the service charge was rediculous.

The place was rammed when we walked in at peak time, we were 5 to 10 minutes late but the table wasn’t ready. We had to order drinks at the bar (which resulted in a slight altercation with someone else who didn’t want to wait their turn). Nowhere to sit while waiting. Although it was full, once we were seated, the waiting staff coped well with demand. Food came within an acceptable time scale. Some of our party were happy with their food and others weren’t. My friends dish was billed as including prawns, but there was only one prawn in it! The meat calzones had smoked ham which was processed and unpleasant (although they both enjoyed the Bolognese sauce). My food was quite good (salmon tortellini) perhaps a 7 out of 10. We had problems splitting the bill, partly because an optional service charge had been added that I only spotted halfway through the calculation palaver.

A great little place that does a nice menu and attentive service.

Had a family 21st birthday meal for 8 adults and 3 children. We had never been before but had been recommended. We all had a great time. Food, excellent Service, excellent Atmosphere, excellent They even came out with our cake singing "Happy birthday " with a massive sparkler candle. Definitely will return.

Checked out Moda for the first time last night, and it blew us away! Got a warm welcome, the food was top-notch in quality and quantity, service was excellent, and the place was spotless. Perfect spot for celebrating special occasions – like we did. We're definitely coming back, highly recommend it!

Excellent lunch! January can be a tricky month so a solo trip to Moda seemed like a good plan. Delicious and beautifully presented food. Linguini Gamberoni a rare treat and much enjoyed. All in all a great visit.

Nottingham's Finest Dining! Even though we have to drive for about 30 minutes to get to Moda, it's totally worth it. The staff are attentive and service is good. The food was definitely nice but I personally found it rather pricey in comparison to prices I have paid elsewhere for food of similar quality. There were two adults and four children. Us adults had a sharer starter, kids weren't fussed about one. Two kids had small tapas dish as their main. One glass of wine and two beers and the rest soft drinks. No puddings, two coffees. £160 was the total bill. I would still recommend a visit but be prepared for the prices and maybe go when it isn't as busy because it was so loud with all the groups crammed in that I could not speak to my partner on the other side of the table without shouting.
