Perfect. Welcoming. Accessible. The honey toast with strawberry 🍓 jam is wow. Soup , stilton and broccoli perfect. Excellent covid arrangements. Very clean. On a frequent bus service. Newly arrived local applique pictures of Bedwas adorn the cafe all recycled materials. A must visit.

Clean, quirky and good food. Lovely old china crockery. Friendly owners. We had breakfast there. Price are good

Given an afternoon tea for two in a box as a gift. No ordinary box, beautifully wrapped. It contained the tastiest of sandwich fingers and a selection of delectable cakes. And cheese and crackers. I'll be back for myself and for gifts.

I ordered a take away afternoon tea for two as a surprise for a friend. The food was ready and waiting for collection when I got there and was beautifully presented in boxes tied with ribbons. Everything inside was absolutely delicious. Lovely mixture of finger sandwiches which were really fresh and a selection of home made cakes, a macaron and a little tart which were all gorgeous. There was also a piece of cheese and some crackers. The star of the box was the best home made scone I've ever tasted which came with a small pot of clotted cream and strawberry jam. I am looking forward to being able to go and have tea in the shop as it's a lovely decorated tea room and the owner is so friendly and helpful. Highly recommended as sa very reasonably priced treat for yourself or as a girft for someone special. *****

Afternoon tea included a variety of sandwiches (ham, beef, salmon, cheese, egg, brie & grape) along with crisps, crackers and cheese, grapes, a selection of deeeeelicious home made cakes, the most beautiful scones with strawberries and blueberries ... all for a really good price! (oh and inclusive of a drink).Couldn't finish everything in one sitting but we were given boxes to take left overs home, which i just finished with a cuppa.Cafe is beautifully decorated and the owner was so lovely. Service was spot on and we had a nice chat with the owner! I'm looking forward to returning for the Christmas afternoon tea. Thank you and see you soon!

Had lunch there today. We each enjoyed an excellent salad, one with smoked salmon, the other with Brie, grapes, walnuts and cranberry sauce.The ingredients were fresh and varied - perfect!These were followed by delicious passion fruit cake and superb coffee.We'll definitely return.

Have had at least 5 afternoon tea boxes delivered to family and friends. They were all delighted by quality and choice in the box. Delivery was as easy to arrange card in box was a great idea and courier was very polite . Highly recommended

A group of us Ukelele players went here for our Christmas ‘do’, First class service, very obliging, lovely food, lovely atmosphere/ambience. Spotlessly clean. Will visit again.

Try the Honey Toast its superb. The Apple and lemon cake was superb. Savouries and a good selection of cakes.Top quality at good prices with a lovely welcome. Very clean. Plenty of room for prams.On the very frequent A bus route from Caerphilly Station.

Ordered a bit for breakfast all was very nice will return again. Hygiene rating of 5 . Will be back.
