Excellent Italian restaurant. I ordered Margherita pizza, truffle pizza, and spinach pasta. Definitely worth a try. 👍🏼

Found this lovely restaurant by accident. What a lovely little place to have dinner and cocktails. We were celebrating our birthdays so the staff arranged a lovely pudding and sang happy birthday to us. We will definitely go there again on our next visit to Westminster London.

Delicious pizza, thin and tasty dough and generous size. The pasta is very good too. Advisable

Great pizza from this little place. I walked in on a Monday night and didn't need to book a table. The restaurant was full by 7pm. The food was amazing, the price was very affordable and cheaper than pizza chains. It is a little gem in London. The only thing was the tap water bottle cap had black mould dots on them, quite off-putting. Please clean them.

Came here for a late dinner after a day long bus tour and was in the mood for Italian. It is a very tiny restaurant but they were super friendly and welcoming! Loved the feeling and vibe here, like family. We were excited for some good pasta but if I’m being perfectly honest, the flavor was lacking. It may be a London thing that a lot of the food is kind of bland but with the addition of some salt and pepper from the table, it was a lot better and more flavorful. The gnocchi had a nice texture and the sauce was creamy but definitely needed a little more flavor. We really wanted to love the food but were a little underwhelmed. The pasta was cooked perfectly as was the risotto. The ravioli was probably the best of the four dishes we tried. Would return to try other menu items so still giving four stars.

Small pizza and pasta place. Food was good and the people friendly. Just what we needed for a not expensive lunch while walking around the Winchester area.

Realy good restaurant, the carbonara and the ravioli were really amazing. The limoncelo spritz was really good. And the pistachio tiramisu was a very good surprise. I highly recommend. Signed : a French tourist

Wow. Really a hidden pearl in London. The staff was really nice and helpfull. I will give an extra credit to the pizzachef. What a cool guy, and the food he makes 5/5. this is one of the best pizza’s i’ve eaten. Big portions and a good price! I had the Prosciuetto e Funghi with extra salami and jalapeno. Recomend this one. I miss pizza knifes, other than that great place! I will return :)

The Bolognese pasta was great and i also recommend the bruschetta. The tagliatelle was a bit too spicy.

Just had an office outing here for 20 colleagues. Great service and food and good value. House wine was very drinkable and reasonably priced too. We will be back regularly.

The waiter told me you can only sit one hour, although the whole room almost free. The food was meh. ( spaghetti sea food and garlic bread). In the end they tried to sneak an order in the receipt but I saw it and talked with them to remove it and they simply said sorry.

Some of the best service in London! Extremely friendly staff, very happily remade my friend’s order when she read the menu wrong. Food was delicious, not bland at all. Intimate and relaxed setting. Highly, highly recommend.

Great Pizza / Paste ! Each tine again!

If you're craving Italian foods go to Mio! I had the spaghetti bolognese and it was the best meal to end the day with. Yummy, rich flavors that I won't be able to enjoy until I travel here, again. If you choose the calzone instead, know that it comes out big, beautiful, and delicious (easily shareable for 2). The restaurant is small and comfortable so you might need to wait for a table, still I say it's worth it. The staff is very nice and they work to make seasonal cocktails that are fantastic. Plus the Italian Wines are extra yummy with the meal options. So good! Go and enjoy! 💜💜💜

I was not expecting to enjoy that much italian food in London. Amazing staff.

The food, service and ambiance were top notch. We had a wonderful time dining here for lunch. It’s a cozy, small spot so I’d recommend a reservation. Definitely worthwhile if you’re in the mood for authentic Italian food with fresh ingredients. We had the caprese salad, prosciutto and funghi pizza and veganesca, all were outstanding.

Was wandering around London with my girlfriend struggling to find a good place to eat. Found this absolutely lovely little restaurant. Staff were lovely, prices were affordable, and the food was great with good portions. Nice and quiet, very cute restaurant.

Great Italian option near Whitehall

A Reld with good references jumped out at me. An Italian without many retentions, but with very good food prepared on the fly, of very good quality. We were assisted by Federico, a super friendly and professional Argentinian. If we returned to London, Mio would be a must-see.

Stumbled upon this restaurant by accident and decided to give it a try. From the beginning, the customer service was top tier. My daughter and I ordered the Penna Arriabiata and Pollo Picante pizza. Both were spectacular. I wish we had more time in London to try their other menu options. Thank you so much Mio!

Pleasant central London restaurant. Not too formal, friendly staff, well cooked food. Vegan is possible but not a big choice.

Thin crust Italian style pizzas. Really enjoyed it. Looks quite authentic. They do have a 12.5% service fee included in the bill. Prompt table service. Welcoming staff.

The best Italian in London I'm sure. It's funny but throughout my life I have been to more than 100 Italian restaurants and this one in particular is in the TOP-3. Very good location, approximately 1 km from Big Ben. 100% homemade food made with a lot of love and excellent service. The truth is that it is a 10/10, I have nothing to contribute as a criticism, Federico and Seetay attended us (super kind and friendly). The caprese salad was delicious, with lots of quantity and an exquisite tomato. We loved the gnocchi, you could tell they were homemade and the pizza was amazing and a size that you won't leave hungry with. Since there is no meal without dessert, we finished with a tiramisu that I fell in love with and a Nutella cheesecake of which I would have had 3 more pieces 🤭

I love Italian food, but as a Muslim comes from Saudi Arabia, I always have to ask if the food is halal. Sometimes, we leave the restaurant because we don’t get a clear answer. However, today we were lucky to meet Zeinab, who was very kind and helpful in answering our questions. The food was delicious! I hope the menu can clearly indicate halal options in the future. Thank you!

This is now my favourite place to eat when I'm in Westminster. The food is great - the calzone is enormous - and the staff are lovely. Definitely recommended.

From California This place is an Excellent restaurant and has excellent food. The people are awesome and very helpful and friendly…. You will NOT be disappointed eating here. I recommend the “Fiery red sauce” on your pasta. A real treat.

A must-visit restaurant if you visit London

They managed to fit us in when they were fully booked and turn around food in 40 minutes. Food was wonderful, service amazing and the chefs very friendly. It is also the quickest I have ever been served a beer anywhere in London, genuinely less than a minute. A lovely little find!

Excellent pizza, better than many eaten in Italy, excellent quality mozzarella and tomato ingredients, perfect and digestible crunchy dough, cooked in a wood oven! congratulations to the stinker! The pasta Bolognese is also exquisite, delicate ragù as good as grandma's, excellent, absolutely recommended if you want to eat well and go out with a smile.

What a cute restaurant serving delicious food! We loved our visit to Mio. The service was incredibly helpful and friendly. Our starter was excellent, my wife thoroughly enjoyed her spaghetti carbonara, and I am not exaggerating when I say that may be the best spaghetti bolognese I've ever had.

This is bar far one of the best Italian restaurant I’ve been to in London. The staff are friendly and accommodating, with very authentic Italian food. I’ve been here many times and they have never failed to impress me. I strongly recommend ordering the garlic bread (cheesy) and the chilli sauce!

We ate Bruschetta, burrata, pizza pistacchio and prawn linguin. There was no bread. Burrata was solid, not fluid. I don’t think it is a really Italian restorant. It was a disappointment.

Great discovery very close to Westminster Abbey. When we arrived there was no place, there were 8 of us and the place is small, but they offered us to wait 10 minutes and they prepared 2 tables for us that were finishing. The food is very delicious and they have gluten-free pasta. They also control cross contamination. Several waiters speak Spanish. The staff was super friendly. We will definitely return when we visit London again.

Very good little Italian restaurant Impeccable service

Chef Anushka's food was very delicious and Manuela and Federico's attention was very good. Even though it was my birthday, they gave me a dessert and sang me happy birthday with a candle. If I ever return to London I will definitely come back. I recommend it! And the prices are very good too.

Firstly the service was friendly and attentive. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Open kitchen which is nice. Food wise its OK. Porion size was tight shall we say and not generous by any means. What we had was fine but nowhere near the best Italian we've been to. Decidedly just average would describe it. Not particularly cheap either. Would we go back ? No.

I went to eat there a few days ago with my family. They serve hearty dishes and the best thing about the place (apart from the food) is the customer service, which was outstanding.

We had a long day in London and really wanted some take-out pizza. I walked in and ordered the Margarita pizza and tiramisu. The chef makes the tiramisu in individual containers. They were SO NICE to let me take one and leave the container at my hotel’s concierge’s desk where they will pick it up. The pizza and tiramisu were both fabulous and the staff were super nice! I highly recommend Mio Restaurant!

We absolutely love this restaurant. The food is amazing and can honestly say it’s my favourite Italian restaurant to eat at. Try to make sure we book in when we are in London it’s just so good. You really have to go...! The staff are really very friendly.....! The Gorgonzola gnocchi didn't suit my parents as much as I expected, so I left it all, but when they looked at it, they calculated it excluding the price of the gnocchi.... It was something I was completely grateful for. Gorgonzola gnocchi is a bit thicker and a bit thicker than you think? I feel it.. Other reviews say it is recommended, but I don't really recommend it.. Carbonara pasta is an authentic pasta made with real yolk, so I hope you give it a try!! And, the pizza is really, really delicious!! The most basic margherita pizza is the real JMT!!

Great service, great Italian & amazing pizza.

We went to celebrate my husband's birthday yesterday, it's our third time here and we continue to absolutely love it. The food is incredible and the service is outstanding; every one is very welcoming and attentive! I particularly recommend the seafood risotto and the gnocchi!!
