We ate Bruschetta, burrata, pizza pistacchio and prawn linguin. There was no bread. Burrata was solid, not fluid. I don’t think it is a really Italian restorant. It was a disappointment.

Friendly staff, amazing food. Worth the wait if you don’t have reservations.

WE ORDERED BURRATA, SPAGUETTI CARBONARA WITH GUANCHALE AND TIRAMISU FOR DESSERT. THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO LEIRE WHO SPEAK SPANISH AND TREATED US LIKE AT HOME. THEY HAVE AN OPEN KITCHEN AND FIRST FOOD.

Great discovery very close to Westminster Abbey. When we arrived there was no place, there were 8 of us and the place is small, but they offered us to wait 10 minutes and they prepared 2 tables for us that were finishing. The food is very delicious and they have gluten-free pasta. They also control cross contamination. Several waiters speak Spanish. The staff was super friendly. We will definitely return when we visit London again.

Very good little Italian restaurant Impeccable service

Chef Anushka's food was very delicious and Manuela and Federico's attention was very good. Even though it was my birthday, they gave me a dessert and sang me happy birthday with a candle. If I ever return to London I will definitely come back. I recommend it! And the prices are very good too.

Firstly the service was friendly and attentive. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Open kitchen which is nice. Food wise its OK. Porion size was tight shall we say and not generous by any means. What we had was fine but nowhere near the best Italian we've been to. Decidedly just average would describe it. Not particularly cheap either. Would we go back ? No.

Perfect place to eat Italian food near Westminster! Fresh and very good product. The only point of improvement is the cannolis.

I went to eat there a few days ago with my family. They serve hearty dishes and the best thing about the place (apart from the food) is the customer service, which was outstanding.

We had a long day in London and really wanted some take-out pizza. I walked in and ordered the Margarita pizza and tiramisu. The chef makes the tiramisu in individual containers. They were SO NICE to let me take one and leave the container at my hotel’s concierge’s desk where they will pick it up. The pizza and tiramisu were both fabulous and the staff were super nice! I highly recommend Mio Restaurant!

The pizza and seafood linguini were rich in flavor and nicely seasoned! The service was very good! The service was friendly and courteous. Moreover, there was one waitress who spoke a little Dutch! I really recommend you this cozy and intimate place!

I recently had a fantastic experience at Mio. The food was incredible, especially the pizzas and desserts, which were delicious. The highlight of our visit was Manuela, who treated us exceptionally well and made excellent recommendations. Her friendly service really made our evening special. Highly recommended for anyone craving great Italian food and warm hospitality!

We absolutely love this restaurant. The food is amazing and can honestly say it’s my favourite Italian restaurant to eat at. Try to make sure we book in when we are in London it’s just so good. Staff are brilliant and so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back again soon

You really have to go...! The staff are really very friendly.....! The Gorgonzola gnocchi didn't suit my parents as much as I expected, so I left it all, but when they looked at it, they calculated it excluding the price of the gnocchi.... It was something I was completely grateful for. Gorgonzola gnocchi is a bit thicker and a bit thicker than you think? I feel it.. Other reviews say it is recommended, but I don't really recommend it.. Carbonara pasta is an authentic pasta made with real yolk, so I hope you give it a try!! And, the pizza is really, really delicious!! The most basic margherita pizza is the real JMT!!

Great service, great Italian & amazing pizza.

Food and service were the most memorable at this place. The chefs were Italian and the pizza was really addictive and somehow just tasted different than your usual margherita pizza. I would love to visit this place again if I ever visit London again in my life.

We went to celebrate my husband's birthday yesterday, it's our third time here and we continue to absolutely love it. The food is incredible and the service is outstanding; every one is very welcoming and attentive! I particularly recommend the seafood risotto and the gnocchi!!

We read very positive reviews of this restaurant, so we went in hoping to find real Italian cuisine. The service is prepared and available, we ordered gnocchi with pesto, which however turned out to be a little stringy and the pesto was not very tasty. Furthermore, we had a margherita pizza, normal, nothing special.

I've been coming to this restaurant for years but I can't justify going again after my last visit. The prices have doubled and I understand there is a cost of living, but the portions have stayed the same! Very small portions. Not worth the money. I've been to other family run restaurants, same prices but bigger portions. This place is now dissapointing

Welcome and warm atmosphere. The pizzas are very good and plentiful. The bruchettas are good. You can go there without hesitation.

Outstanding pizza (Review from the USA)

I visited London this past week on my first solo international trip, and due to the dozens of incredible reviews, I decided to visit Mio Restaurant & Bar. I definitely made the correct choice because the food was absolutely INCREDIBLE! I ordered the special buffalo mozzarella and pesto pizza, and it was so delicious that I went back a couple nights later and ordered their spaghetti bolognese and margherita pizza! If I had more time on my trip, I probably would've gone back a third time to try something else new! Since I was a solo eater and didn't want to take up a whole table in an already tight space, I took my food to go, but I definitely regret that choice because the entire staff were so kind and made sure that each customer was well taken care of! Even as a takeaway customer, the staff made sure to engage with me and make me feel comfortable! I couldn't recommend visiting Mio Restaurant & Bar enough, and I will for sure be visiting again on my next trip to London!

The quality of the food is very good, the prices are also very good, only the toilets and the lack of space in the restaurant have a slight negative impact, but the food is five stars!

What a wonderful place, food and service are great. Tried the bruschetta fungi uau what a discovery, risoto al pescattori and finish up with a tiramisu. Prices very reasonable fot London. A place to come back in the future.

A racist place, even with most of the tables empty they deny service, although they try to hide it, the hostility of the person who runs the restaurant is notorious.

Great information before arriving about table timings, Completely didn't bother us as we had theatre plans. Delicious delicious food and fab service. We treated ourselves to the specials, the prawn linguine and truffle pizza were sooo good! Had a cheeky tiramisu to share, I can definitely say I wont be sharing next time. Can't wait to come back to Mio

The service is spectacular. And the quality of the food is excellent.

Kids portion sizes and poor food management. The actual taste of the food is okay but be careful as you might find something that isn’t food on your plate.

I experienced racism, I went around 6:30 pm; and even though the restaurant was empty, the waitress told us that she couldn't give us a table because she had everything reserved until 7:00 pm...in addition to showing a condescending attitude

Beautiful family run restaurant, lovely fresh pasta and pizza! We tried the fresh tortellini which was devine! We will definitely return to try the pizza Not usually one to leave a review, but this was too good not to mention Advise booking table in advance as does get busy

We had a lovely meal here. It is a small restaurant with an open style kitchen at the end. We had pizza, and it was absolutely delicious and authentic Neopolitan style, thin base and beautiful crust. We saw a calzone come out of the kitchen and it was huge and looked amazing! They only had red or white wine on the menu, but it was perfectly palatable and didn’t bother us. The staff was super friendly and it was great value too. I would definitely go back here again. 5 minutes walk from Westminster. Definitely worth calling to book as it does get busy.

We were very surprised in such a small place. Hidden back street eatery in London Westminster so delicious to eat! It was clean and the waitresses were very friendly. It's just a little small, otherwise great!!

The Food overall was good, the Gnocchi I had (pesto) was a bit too garlicky for my taste but quality of the food wasn't Bad, atmosphere was lacking without any sorta background music, staff were friendly and helpful when it came to asking about dietary requirements, overall I'd recommend Mio

We tried pizza and spaghetti which we all found delicious. The waiter very friendly and willing to explain to us what was needed.

The plates were small and not so tasty we expected them to be. We tried pasta. The place is small so after we finished eating they took our plates and it felt like they wanted us to leave. We wouldn't visit it again.

I went to visit Westminster Abbey. And I walked through the surrounding streets. I found the pizzeria. Very cozy little pizzeria. Very good pizza. I recommend it.

Excellent service, one of the waiters spoke Spanish which made service even easier, the pizzas come out quickly and are very delicious, the 4 cheeses with a touch of blue cheese is delicious, they also have Italian beers.

We were looking for a place to eat in the region of Westminster Abbey and Big Ben and checked out the good reviews of the place. We were well received and accommodated within 5 minutes, despite the place being full and small. The owner is Italian and extremely friendly, trying to communicate in the customer's language. In addition to us Brazilians, there was another table with Spanish tourists. We ordered gnocchi, the dough is prepared right there. Excellent seasoning, well served and at a fair price. I recommend the place!

I really enjoyed it! Friendly and delicious place. Personally, I liked the carbonara gnocchi the best.

I am really surprised at all of the amazing reviews and I feel like I must have gone to the wrong place as I didn’t have the same experience. Ordered the tagliatelle and I couldn’t even finish it, it was so unappealing and my husband agreed. We are both adventurous eaters who enjoy tastes from a wide palette and have traveled extensively in Italy. I’ve never had anything like it. They also do not have a wine list, just the house wine (which was ok), but noting this for anyone who enjoys wine and would prefer to make a selection. Similar to other reviews, the place is small and it was drafty as the door was constantly open on a cool night, so a bit uncomfortable for us. Perhaps we just ordered the wrong things?

Small but cozy. The pizzas are very tasty, the prices are small, a big pizza is ~13£. Only Italian beer, two types, bottled.

As German tourists, we were greeted very nicely and the service was great! The food was incredibly delicious. The price-performance ratio is more than fair. Big praise from all of us to the waiter who sweetened the day with his humor and German words.

The food is amazing. I cannot believe the prices because it is so cheap. I go there with my girlfriend, we ordered two pizza and drinks. First of all, pizza is huge. +service fee I just paid around £35. This London but prices are so cheap compared to London. I suggest everyone.
