Been here more times than I can count - same deal every time where we have unreal food with excellent service. Big kudos to Jass and the crew for a sick feed. £4 Super Bocks are a bonus 🙏🏽

Honestly walked past over the years never been in, what a pleasant surprise the Rotisserie chicken was different level cooked to perfection, Peri and Lime sauce my god.

Amazing food, even better service. Highly recommend. Thank you to Jass for looking after us! We will be back!

Always have a great time in here. Food is always amazing. Grilled chicken and francesinha are a must! The waiter Jess is always happy and smiling, asking the clients if everything is alright. Recommend to make a booking via phone as it has limited seats inside.

I am not usually one to be negative however I must be honest. My friends ordered the Fish dish on the menu. It states: “Cod fish with cream and a side salad”. When asking the server about the dish, he said it was cod fish with a cream sauce on top and potatoes. He did not mention how the dish would come/appear. It was really disappointing when it arrived. It did not come as a fish platter. It came as a fish pie / appearing like a lasagna. It looked as if it had been pre-prepared and just warmed up in the oven. The fish pie had a very rich and salty taste. The menu was very misleading. If my friends had known what the dish really was, they would not have ordered it. The chicken & salad were both great however the chips were cold.

Got in without a booking and Jass was very accommodating and friendly. The best francesinha I’ve had outside of Portugal. 4 pounds a pint as well!

Delicious food and a great atmosphere! We came as a group for a meal and had an amazing time! Luis, Mina and the rest of the team were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our evening. We had a wide selection of the menu and everyone said that their meal was fantastic! All the food is cooked fresh in-house and you can definitely taste it! Well worth a visit for great Portuguese cuisine. Thank you for a lovely evening!

This is one of the best restaurants in London. Me and my friend used to live in Tooting and would go regularly. When we visit a friend who lives close we always use it as an opportunity to go back to Mina’s grill. The food is just soo tasty, the staff are amazing and it’s incredibly priced. It’s nice homemade authentic Portuguese food made with love and the staff actually know us which is lovely when we go back and they welcome us.

Great little place, such good prices both food and drink! I usually go for the chicken skewers, really generous portions and delicious. Their pastel de natas are also to die for!!!!

It used to be a great place, our Sunday spot, the food is nice. Let me explain the 3 star. We went there , we sat at the table and were moved as it was too close to the kitchen then we were forgotten as 2 other group people came after and got served straight away. My husband had to go to the till to give our order, the owner apologised and said ah what new staff and she is running the whole show. Anyway , we understand but then we were left there for 1 hr with no drinks or starters , I had to go and ask and said I will check. Came back with the starter and said sorry but the main will be another 20 mins. At that point , I was like cancel the order and let me pay for I had. She couldn't care less. You lost a customer as we have been coming there most Sundays. Such a shame.

Decent Portuguese food. Staff was very friendly too. Octopus salad and grilled chorizo in the starters were delish. Garlic lemon chicken was tasty too. Portions are huge. PS: get the homemade chilli oil, it’s amazing and hot!

If you’re in Tooting and you’re hungry don’t waste your time going anywhere else!! Just the absolute best. Chilli garlic prawns and the chorizo are great but the grilled chicken n chips smothered in chilli sauce and lemon butter is what you go for!! Sensational

Delicious garlic lemon chicken, best fries in south London and the francesinha is to die for. As authentic Portuguese as it gets in London. We come here every other week, if not every week!

If you want the typical Portuguese experience this is the place for you! The food is freshly made on the time following the proper Portuguese flavours and a good selection of Portuguese wines and several other drinks. We were very well received by Daniel and we had the opportunity of meeting all the staff all of them wonderful. We definitely well be back and more often I suggest everyone to give it a try.

I couldn’t love this place more. Pound for pound one of my favourite restaurants ever. Incredible chicken and steak skewers, some of the most delicious prawns I’ve ever had, the insane lemon sauce. I could go on and on. Anytime I’m in london I make a point of going. I just love it

Delicious food! Francesinha is my favourite; portions are quiet big and fair prices. The owners are very nice too! Update: on my third visit quiet a disappointing service; arrived with my partner and the restaurant was empty but we were sent to a tiny table. We asked to move to a bigger one as we were hardly fitting and we been quiet rudely been told to stay where we were as bigger tables are for bigger groups. When we got our bill we were still the only people there + 2 ladies just arrived which were sent to a small table too and I could hear both disappointed about this too. It was one of the few 5* reviews I gave lately… such a shame having to get back to take one star off.

The service and food was impeccable and we thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere. I would highly recommend the brunch and cocktails.

Good portions, definitely come here when you’re hungry as this is hearty food. Nice fries and freshly prepared salad. The highlight was the grilled chicken, charred flavours came through and yet juicy. The special lemon sauce was delightful. Picanha was cooked nicely and the meal was very filling with the addition of the rice, beans and fries. Friendly service and offered some suggestions at the start. Worth a visit if you’re in the area. 🇵🇹

What a gem of a place! And people say there‘s no delicious food in the UK! Chicken Skewers were delicious. Should give 4 stars for the inconsiderate guy next to me who was loudly watching movies on his phone without using headphones, but food was so good that I’ll overlook this.

What a GEM of a place! Me and my partner are both portuguese and this was by far the best portuguese food we've had in London! Everything from the prawns to the main event which was the steak skewers were perfectly cooked and so tasty! This will definitely be a regular place for us!

Had the pleasure of dining here on date night the other day having been recommended it before, and let me say we were absolutely delighted with what we got. The food was incredible and such large portions. Note to others starve yourself before a visit or luis will stare you down if you have left over food. The staff was lovely and chatty and talked me through there brandy selection which might I add was also absolutely lovely. Will be back soon!

We've been lucky enough to have discovered Minas Grill very early on and have been coming here for years. Been able to eat real and authentic Portuguese grills, including their delicious chicken and belly pork! You'll never go back to Nandos ever again 😉

Very good. Portion was massive and the flavour was very strong and very good. I had a sandwich which name I can't remember that was soaked in soup and was amazing and had egg on top. I highly recommend this place. Good service.

We ordered two meals, waited 1.5hrs and still no food. We cancelled the food and left disappointed. Atleast they could have informed us it will take time. Wasted time waiting.. It seems kitchen is not capable during busy hours.

Really good food and amazing value (we were blown away when we realised we'd found a pint for £3.50 in London). The chicken was really delicious and tender with a lovely sauce, the black beans were very nice too and all good portions. They even gave us a free nata when they overheard us talking about them. Crazy to think that people actually go to the Nandos in Tooting when this is just down the street!

Chicken was cooked to perfection and the chilli oil was on point! Echoing the comment below is amazing to see lots of people buying beer from them.. try the food though it really is exceptional! The best place around to taste true portuguese food Starting with the drinks, there is a good selection of Portuguese wines (as told by the owner, they only have Portuguese wines ), you do also a Portuguese beer and some juices as well Now the food: If you're a Francesinha fan, this is probably the best place in South London , the sauce Is made in house and it is by far one of the best I've ever had (even better the most of the ones I had in Portugal) If not, Well the chicken is better than any high street chain (looking at you n**dos) And if you don't eat meat and octopus or sea food are options, then look no further, I can recommend the any of them. They do really have the true Portuguese flavour I can't recommend them enough!

This is one of my go to restaurants when I am hungry and don't want to think about where to eat. Over a year I have tried their grilled chicken, grilled prawns starter, their mixed grilled meat sharing board, francesinha, bifana, natas, sangria... Every thing has been amazing and each time we leave full with food to take home for the next day. The prices are very reasonable and the quality of food is always fresh and you can tell that care went into preparing the food. The owner is very friendly and always welcoming too. I have been to Lisboa and ate a lot of churresqueira there but Mina's is still better. Also, if you see they are busy downstairs they have more seating upstairs!

Unbelievable value both for the food and the wine. Great staff too. This was our second visit and it was even better than the first. The half chicken with fries and salad was amazing, as was my partner’s sirloin (picanha). The only downsides are that it’s not very comfortable and wasn’t that warm.

Gem of a place! The recent interior upgrade together with excellent mechanical venting of the kitchen is an improvement. The dining area is much more roomy and there is a bar! Fuss-free food - we always come here for the grilled chicken with salad (awesome dressing). Portuguese coffee and a nata is a must, to finish off your meal

I have been here twice and was very impressed with the taste of the food. Portion sizes were great and the food taste just as good as Nandos lol. Everything was extremely hot and had plenty of taste. The salad was very fresh and had a nice dressing ontop. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. Prices are very reasonable. Customer service was good to and no sour faces in sight 😊

Love! Love! Love! This is how you do chicken right! It was so moist, so tender, well seasoned and just a dream. This hidden gem certainly caught our attention with its intimate space. The waitresses are so lovely, we spoke about Portugal and got some brilliant recommendations for the food at hand and travelling in Portugal all together. The meal was cheaper than I expected for the fresh quality food being produced so that was also a lovely addition. My partner finished the meal with a coffee and custard tart which took him back to Lisbon. Wonderful! This place just feel so wholesome and nice!

A little Portuguese tasty gem hidden in the Tooting Broadway market! The menu is not extensive but is carefully well prepared and delicious. Hope it stays like this for a long time.

Expensive place and the owner, Nina, has quite a rude attitude if you do not like the food and explain to her that the same is not right, she uses sarcasm, as a form of defense.The employee's very pleasant. But unfortunately not a place that I will be going back any time soon.

This will change your opinion on Nandos forever. Fact. Portions are massive too! Highly recommend their food. Excellent value.
