Milimia Pizza in Angus

Was hungry. Bought a burger. Medium. Got a piece of charcoal instead with no lettuce no tomato. I paid in advance. So there was no chance to complain because cook and waiter disappeared

I’ve heard mixed reviews about this place but i like to find out for myself and personally it was a waste of time. Me and my fiancé walked in to get something quick to eat before going the cinema next door. A young guy behind the bar told us sit anywhere so we did after waiting for ten minutes without menu’s we got fed up so I looked to find menus myself. After looking round the frankly dirty restaurant I found them at the corner of the bar sat back down for another 10 minutes. The guy appeared from from the bar cleared away a plate off of another table and shouted to us from the bar just order at the bar when your ready then disappeared again. So I decided if the service is as bad as that what’s the food going to be like and how long would it be until we got our food so we went elsewhere waste of time the owners need to spend more training their staff.

This place clearly has good staff during the night but terrible during the day. They are dis interested young ladies with terrible capability. Pizza is great but toasties sucked and all 3 were black! Dreadful!

Went here for a quiet meal and drinks, the food was to die for and the cocktails were delicious! Will definitely be back there!

Got a mushroom and rocket pizza from here when it first opened and it was the best pizza ever. On our next visit it was not on the menu and the menu had reduced. Had macaroni on my next two visits and it was good. Visited again 2nd August and the menu was reduced again. No macaroni. I had the spaghetti bolognese and the spaghetti was like tinned heinz variety. Hubby had pepperoni pizza and it was average. Also had to wait 30 minutes for meal to arrive. Also our wine glass was dirty and hubby took it back to the bar. A staff member washed it and gave back to him. Hubby thought they had no other glasses!!

We have eaten here before and it was ok but nothing special. Tonight we went in after seeing a film and I was pleasantly surprised. Really tasty. They are planning a new menu soon which we will def be back to try

We have had a sit in meal here, a take out and I was 1st to review this place. This time, we had a pizza to sit with in the adjacent cinema which is a great idea. However, the pizzas were not nearly of the quality we have had in the past, it was so disappointing. I had same pizza I always had which is supposed to have truffle oil, I couldn't taste any. The biggest issue was the pizza base sauce. This was what made the other pizzas so good and this time, it was terrible. It was completely different. I hope they up their game as we may be visiting on Sunday. Will try again, for sure, but if same as this we won't go back.

We were looking for somewhere casual to eat but couldn't find something like an Italian restaurant in Arbroath. Then we came across Milimia Pizza and decided to give them a try. We were a little apprehensive to be honest; neither the outside of the building (they're next to the cinema) nor the interior looked very inspiring... We were pleasantly surprised in the end with their very nice, authentic tasting thin based pizzas, baked and served on hot pizza stones, which kept them nice & hot while eating as well. I picked something a little unusual, which was the duck & hoi sin sauce pizza in the picture, which was very tasty. Bases on this experience I would go back.

We came here for a family lunch before we went to catch a movie, we had a variety of food including pizza, cullen skink and Arbroath smokie pasta. The BBQ chicken pizza was fantastic excellent thin crispy style pizza, Cullen skink was nice and fresh would definitely order again and my wife loved the pasta she said it was the best in a long time. Looking forward to our next visit.

We opted for a take away, 2 of us had ham mushroom with truffle oil the other had the Hotie. All pizzas were very good, lovely base and base topping. We had eaten in the restaurant before and the pizzas were fantastic. You can also order a pizza and eat it in the adjoining cinema. Probably best pizza in town. Definitely worth a visit.
