Milas Turkish Kitcken & Bar in Dundee City

We were regular customers at this restaurant due to staff being very nice to us and food being good. The waiters are exceptionally friendly. A couple of times our big families celebrated events like weeding anniversaries, graduation, etc. In the past couple of months though, the customer service went below McDonald's. I have never seen anything like that, and we will never return. The owner/manager(?) is extremely rude. Last month we had an engagement anniversary and booked a place. We waited for food for 30 min, then ate 10 minutes. Right after all plates were taken and we ordered a dessert, we were approached by the guy and told we needed to go. Pointing at wealthy people at the door, he said: "You finished, can you go? You see, people are waiting there?". We told we ordered a desert and we had a booking too. He then said we needed to wait for a desert (which turned out to be a takeaway) near the kitchen. He relocated us to a shared table so that the wealthy-looking couple can sit at our spot. I have never been insulted like that on my special day. Next time we were silly enough to return, again on a special occasion. A quarter of the restaurant was empty, and we asked for a table. The same guy approached us and said there is no space for today. Okay. I waited until the next couple with no booking was seated, and tried to ask why, but the same guy said we had to leave. We were silly. Very silly. So we returned. This time half of the restaurant was empty. I was so happy to see that, and the waitress seemed to have a table. When she picked up the menu, that same guy let her go, approached us and said it was all booked. Guess what? We were watching how other couples were seated with no booking. TO THE OWNER: Who do you think you are to insult me and my family on special occasions? Our 4 families will never return to your restaurant again. TO CUSTOMERS: I understand you might want to choose this place to eat. But are you from a working class too? Did you have a tiring day at work? Do you and your family deserve to be treated this way? Your moms and dads? Your children? Your loving partner?

I go here regularly and never had a bad meal or experience and always great food and service and reasonable prices really is a great option whatever the occasion

Deliciosa comida fresca con una gran variedad de opciones para vegetarianos. Camareros amables y atentos. Sin duda volveré! ¡No puede faltar nuestra comida en absoluto!

Era el cumpleaños de mi novio hoy y llegué a este restaurante con él porque escuchó mucho sobre la llamada buena comida y había llamado temprano hoy para asegurar una mesa para nosotros. Pudimos ver una larga cola ocupada desde la entrada y mientras dentro descubrimos algunas personas llegaron sin reservar previamente. Al acomodador le costaba mucho averiguar quiénes eran estas personas y asignar mesas a los que habían reservado a tiempo. Estuvimos en la entrada por más de 20 minutos, la mayoría ignorados mientras él asignaba mesas a otras parejas. No tenía sentido esperar más porque nuestro tren debía salir de Dundee. Esta es mi primera experiencia con este lugar, pero me ha dejado muy decepcionado e insatisfecho con el servicio en general.

Allí para el 16 cumpleaños de nuestra nieta La comida era muy sabrosa y el ambiente bueno - muy ocupado. Luego la persona que se llevaba los platos vacíos preguntó si nos íbamos ya que eran personas esperando una mesa. Estropeó toda la experiencia. En realidad había gente esperando justo dentro de la puerta que también debe haber estado fuera - poner para los comensales allí. Algunos modales escoceses requeridos.

Visited with a friend for tea, booked for 5.30 and it was very busy, greeted by a luvly man who showed us to our table (no 20) through the back. Ordered our food, a mushroom and halloumi to share which was very nice. Then a Iskender + chicken shish and an mixed Iskender also very tasty. A great atmosphere in the restaurant as a lot of party tables. All the servers worked very hard. Will return :) :)

Fantastic Turkish restaurant. We all had something different and the flavors were excellent. Would definitely come back outstanding service also thanks again

This Turkish meal surpassed our expectations. We have been traveling to Turkey several times a year for 25 years so we're pleased to see a Turkish restaurant in Dundee close to the Caird Hall. The food was absolutely delicious, freshly cooked and tasted and smelled authentic.

Booked a table for 6pm. Place was heaving with people. People being turned away. That's always a good sign! Food and service was five star. Reasonably priced for both food and drinks. No second mortgage required for a glass of wine, which is often the case these days!. We will definitely be back.

Came here for our first visit and found a vibrant packed restaurant on a Wednesday! It was graduation day . We only had to wait around 10 minutes before we were shown to our table. Great choice on the menu , lovely tasty food and efficient friendly service. Our waitress was great . Wonderful atmosphere would definitely recommend .
