Service was amazing. We wanted a booth and the waitress ensured we got one whilst escorting us to another table to wait on one becoming available. Provided drinks and menus. Food was amazing. Highly recommended!!

A lovely, busy Italian restaurant, even on a Tuesday night. You can see the pizzas being tossed and made downstairs which adds extra interest to the evening. The staff were very helpful about menu choices etc. Great value for money.

Milano's restaurant management should pay attention to all feedback, positive or negative. I was simply suggesting that the business should consider look at better communications within their delivery service. I'm not interested in getting into the details of who said what, I know what the waitress told me. To prevent any misunderstandings or attempts to conceal mistakes in the future, it would be helpful if you simply just called your customers and informed them that there will be a delay in their delivery. Lastly, from a public relations standpoint, it is advisable to avoid expressing your frustrations so publicly on platforms like Google's customer service platform.

Great authentic restaurant, great food, and prompt service. The staff are always polite and attentive. The food is delicious with something for everyone and is quite reasonably priced which is unusual these days.

We have been a number of times & now & loved every meal we have had. The lunchtime menu is great value & if you like a salad this would probably be the best salad you have ever eaten! Instead of being lots of leaves, you get a portion of everything that you want from a salad.

We've dined here multiple times with friends and family and have always had a great experience! The food is lovely and the staff & service is always great. We'll definitely be back!

An established restaurant Ver. a reliable pizza delivery service… pick one? Milano has a good and long established reputation for making premium, quality pizza in Ballymena. I don’t normally order takeaway pizza as I’m usually underwhelmed by the quality of made-to-order, delivered pizza but with a recent recommendation I thought I’d try their restaurant this evening. I called by phone and ordered two large pizzas for delivery this evening where the restaurant’s waitress informed me that they were unable to take online card payments and required ‘cash on delivery’. Already suspicious as most online delivery services take payment by debit card, I agreed to pay with cash upon delivery. The waitress took my order, told me the cost and stated my order would be delivered in 45 - 60 mins. After 110 minutes I called the restaurant to check the status of my order where I was casually informed that my order was just going into the oven now!!! I hung up and briefly considered my options, I called the restaurant back 30 seconds later to be told “I had lost my appetite” due to the late delivery and requested for my order to be cancelled. The waitress then informed me that my order was now “baked, boxed and on-route” !?!? Knowing the time it takes to bake an authentic, premium pizza, I wasn’t sure what to believe. I reconfirmed the definite cancellation of my order. Restaurants who offer a delivery service need to decide what type of customer service they can offer; a customer-focused, sit-in restaurant or a premium delivery service. If they have the experience, scope and staff to deliver both options, great… if not then hard decisions need to be considered. If I were sitting in Milano’s restaurant this evening and I waited 20 minutes to be told my order we being put into the oven then told by the same person 30 seconds later that my meal was on a tray and being prepared for serving, what would go through your mind… confusion, frustration, where is my food order, what value is my business to this restaurant and can they genuinely serve in-house as well as deliver? The night-time hospitality economy in Ballymena is on its knees, it’s time for established and reputable businesses like Milano to-step, re-consider and re-evaluate their business model and decide what customer facing services can they genuinely offer?

Top class food. Can’t wait to come back. The burger was absolutely gorgeous and the chips were amazing. Went here before the cinema. Glad I visited and i definitely will be back.

May still be OK for pizza but was disappointed with pulled pork and lasagne. Portion size and how food was presented was poor. Definitely would no longer recommend it to anyone.

I'd have given 0 stars if it was an option. £4 for a tiny portion of chips. I mentioned to the girl I was paying & who served us that it was very expensive for such a small portion to be snapped at 'I don't make the prices.' She had absolutely no manners at all, no please or thank you at any time. Generally if I'm not happy with somewhere I just won't go back but to be spoke to with such a bad attitude and treated like we were was disgusting. She shouldn't be interacting with people in any capacity.

Milanos pizza is normally 100% tho ordered 2 kebabs today for a change from pizza and I litterly got 6 small squares of donner meat an half a try of chip. Both kebabs where the poorest kebabs I have even seen.

They have to know much more about a pizza and how to do one , especially the pizza base. 2nd thing is when I tried to sit at the table a girl comes to ask which drink I want... Please let the customers for 5 min to check the drinks menu.

Just had an absolutely lovely meal in Milanos, we had pizza, chicken burger and chicken goujons, everything was piping hot and super tasty. We would definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed this place. Two adults, a 10 yo and 6yo. Good service and speedy. Friendly staff. We would happily go back. The kids portions were great and we really liked the pizza dough base.

Very friendly waitress who got it just right when it comes to being friendly, efficient and respectful. Excellent food highly recommend the cheesy mushrooms, kebab pizza (you know it's wrong but it was so right!) and chocolate brownie.

Went for food today, ordered our food, 5 mins later waitress comes up, sorry we have no donor meat as we are closing for 2 weeks, is chicken ok, someone got the pulled pork with chips coleslaw and iceberg lettuce, it came with no coleslaw and some green stuff, food was cold, pulled pork was hard, chicken seemed to be heated in microwave as it was rubbery, don't like leaving this negative review but this us the 3rd time meal has had pros, so much for spend local and help out, won't be fooled again

Had our wedding meal here on 16th June 2023. Absolutely outstanding. Allan and his team went above and beyond for us and we couldn't be more grateful. Food was 5🌟 every single person loved their food. The atmosphere was so cosy and clean. They made us feel so special and went out of their way to decorate for me. Milanos holds a special place in my heart since I was a child and having my wedding there was perfect. Nothing was too much for Allan and his team who are absolutely fantastic. Absolutely amazing restaurant, set on 2 levels ( though upstairs was closed off, assuming used on weekends and for functions ) Decor was lovely and welcoming ( my other half especially loved the proper cushions on the seats ) the kitchen was in the centre of the restaurant which I love as you can see everything being made. For starters we had mozzarella sticks ( gone before the picture was taken ), dough balls and cheesy garlic bread, all hot and lovely. Mains 2 pizzas one vegetarian which was lovely, and they added toppings no fuss Other chicken and cheese Lastly chicken goujons and chips because I'm a big kid Highly recommended, lovely venue, lovely staff and amazing food

So we went here for lunch much a quick visit before a cinema visit ! We chose from the lunch menu! The lady said you can’t split this ! Never thought about this as we were paying together ! Enjoyed the starters and two 10 inch pizzas the bill should have been £24 plus drinks which we all had , our two grandchildren enjoyed two slices of pizzas each ! Bill came no lunch special ….. so the long and the short of this is NO SHARING !! We had to pay full price for all the dishes ! Wouldn’t have chosen off this menu if we had been wiser Anyway Milanos I will never be back also telling all my friends with kids

Had a meal for two tonight and it was one of the best we have had in a long time. The steak i had was cooked perfectly ,everything was delicious and our waitress was absolutely lovely. We will definitely be back !

Called in without booking. Given a table right away. Service was excellent, very pleasant young waitress. Didnt have long to wait on our meals which were beautifully presented and very very tasty. Became very busy but staff were up to the job. Would definitely call again when in Ballymena..

Just got 2 burgers and one chocolate fudge cake which had shrunk by 50% all for £16 , I know there is a cost of living crisis, daylight robbery is also on the rise,thank god for weetabix.
