I regularly grab a vegan burrito here on my way home from theatre. Lots of veg and beans. Very filling and tasty, a great cheap meal.

I have never such awful burritos in my life. It was so terrible that probably the person making the burrito knew it was awful. Not to mention the amount you have to pay for the privilege of trying that unique assembly of ingredients they call burrito. I ordered a naked burrito and this was the contents of the box: tomato rice (only option), chicken, beans, lettuce, chopped tomatoes, sour cream and supermarket hot sauce (the variety that you would use in your chips not burrito). Even jalapeños were 50p extra. Portion size was meagre, quality was poor, ingredients were not well thought of and overpriced for the quality are some of things they need to improve on hugely. First step would be to watch a YouTube video of how to make burritos.

I have ordered chicken burritos. Made as I acceptable. It was mouth watering 100% recommendable. Definitely visit again.

Eaten here few times in the past. But today I had the worst takeaway. Salad was horrible. Burritos was tasteless. Not coming back again

The worst burrito I’ve had. I ordered the ultimate burrito with 2 fillings in large size, a maximum of one spoon of rice and hardly any fillings. Even had the audacity to charge extra when I didn’t order any extra fillings. Poor is an understatement

Went here as we were starving and it was the first thing we saw that looked “relatively decent” (substantial amount of food for a reasonable price in London). I was unimpressed that the chap behind the counter forgot to mention that he didn’t have any sauces other than salsa or “really spicy” sauce. I selected a normal burrito with sour cream instead of salsa as I’m not a fan of tomatoes (salsa). I was told there was no sour cream anymore and bearing in mind that the burritos came with lettuce,beans and rice, I saw the chap begin to fold the wrap with nothing in it apart from the chicken. I’m sure there was rice in with the chicken and some beans but I just felt that they were charging same prices for food that they were unable to make to fully make and I was put off by how awkward the service and experience was. I felt so awkward that I no longer wanted the burrito but that my partner had requested his already. Chap behind counter looked annoyed about the situation and barely apologised. I did not feel comfortable paying full price for something that was half made. Should have been told at the start that certain ingredients were unavailable so that customer could make an informed decision before deciding to put in an order or at least update their boards if they can’t be bothered to adequately advise customers after a long day.

Great little stop - as a vegetarian this is one place I can always rely on for a quick bite substantial enough to make up for missed dinner. I’m not sure what all of the bad reviews are for! It’s not a gourmet experience but what do people expect from a train station fast food place? I’ve always had lovely service here - but I tend to find if you’re nice to people they’re usually nice in return.

This cafe is hidden somewhat by escalators if I recall. I was sorry I found it. The burrito was tiny for the price. Poor value, and not especially pleasant queuing for it.

Ordered chicken burrito … they only do small or regular. I had regular which was the smallest burrito, I have ever seen, so much so when I saw the amount of chicken he put in I asked if he was serious he doubled the amount which was still tiny four small cubes…. £7.99 I would consider this robbery…. Let’s hope the recession wipes out businesses like this, they don’t deserve to be in business. It’s the quietest eatery around the station, I now completely understand why…. Wish I’d checked TP first ! Avoid at all cost … pop to McDonald’s downstairs and get a bigger, better wrap for a fraction of the price. Wrap of the day £1.99 certainly will have treble the amount of chicken.

Having arrived at Waterloo station and looking for a quick lunch bite before heading on to meet friends, I was initially quite pleased to discover a burrito outlet as a contrast to so many standard sandwich outlets around the station. How wrong could my hopes of a good meal be !? Things didn’t get off to a flying start. Despite not being busy (that should have been a warning sign at 1:00pm on a week day on a busy mainline station !) the lady serving was sullen and unresponsive (Nice !). I ordered a medium burrito with chicken and the usual toppings .. - She pulls out a soft tortilla, doesn’t attempt to heat it up as other good burrito outlets normally do, no, that tortilla is just laid down, cold. Rice next ? . . but, oh no, the heated rice container is empty ?! ( amazing that she could be sitting there looking at her phone and not checking her supplies !?) - Out comes a new container of rice . . On it goes, followed by some black beans, a spoon full of dried up chicken, some cheese and sauce - possibly the smallest burrito I’ve ever bought but the best was yet to come . . Biting into the thing was out as bad as it could get, the the tortilla was cold and not fresh, flapping around in the wind, the rice (which was half of the contents ) was half cooked and still crunchy !? - the cheese too bitter and cold and the chicken pretty nondescript - I binned more than half of it not just because it tasted SO bad but because I was seriously worried about the dangers of part cooked rice ! Bloody Horrible experience - AVOID !

chicken wrap. Probably 20-25% a chicken breast. A load of tasteless rice. 3 jalapeños, tiny amount of sauce and cheese. And cost me £9. Can make better for £2 at home. Will never order again from them

You order a chicken burrito and what you get is a RICE burrito. they put sooooo much rice and very little chicken. I commented at this as they were preparing it and they lady said that’s just how it is. If I’m paying for a chicken burrito I’d want it to be more chicken than rice and beans which is what they fill it up with! Tortilla is much better than this place!

Was passing my Waterloo for work and stopped in mi casa for lunch. Food was fresh and warm. It was good

Friday lunchtime. Requested an Ultimate Burrito (Regular) with chicken, so that is the larger of the two options with TWO portions of chicken. Then saw the smallest burrito possible being prepared, server fiddled around in the though of chicken chopping up what was left in the bottom and half of what i would expect for a single serving. Questioned this and was told I had ordered the small. I am 6ft5 and have honestly never ordered a small anything. Complained about the serving size and ended up leaving with nothing. Very poor service. Will not be back.

I ate from here a couple of years ago and it was not great, but tonight was appalling. The burrito seemed almost half the size of before, rip-off prices, miserable staff and very poor quality.

Been here a few times and it was always OK. Went here one evening after a few drinks in town before getting the train home. Ordered a chicken burrito. Member of staff put a spoonful of chicken inside, placed it on the scales and then removed half the chicken. No guacamole even though I was prepared to pay the £1.20 they charge for it. £7 later finally sat down to eat it and the rice inside was so under cooked (or maybe just so stale) its was hard solid. General taste was bland and watery anyway but the rice just made it inedible. Tried to find contact details online to complain but cant find anything.

All I can say about this experience is avoid. I had a burrito, as this is in the name I assumed it would at least be edible. I went to mi casa without really looking at reviews(BIG MISTAKE). There are plenty of comparably priced Mexican restaurants in London. Please save yourself and just go to one of those!! Don’t bother with mi casa you will only regret it! (A lot of great chains in London)

Pedí un último burrito, que cuesta ca. £9. Eran muy codiciosos con la carne que ponen en la empleada entonces y carne dos veces en carne y una vez en pollo. No escuche cuando pregunté por qué son tan codiciosos en la carne y en el guacamole para descuento pese al excesivo por 2,40 euros. 2. Para pedir una cantidad de dinero para un medio medio, mediocre burrito es una vergüenza. No sorprende que no hay cola. . .

Nos detuvimos en el camino a casa y este es sinceramente la peor comida que he probado nunca! I have never written a review on trip advisor but felt inspired by the awful burrito I just received. I have been here before and it was fine but seems to have gone down hill. They weighed my vegetables for the burrito, the veggies were hard and chewy, they put jalapeños in before telling me there was a charge and the chilli sauce was nasty and artificial. Imagine the sort of sandwich you can by in a pound shop..... Now drop it on the floor.... Now take out half the filling and replace it with old salad..... Now pay three times what it's worth...... It's better then these burritos.

Terrible service with very rude and ignirant staff. Ordered a vegitarian burrito but was given a vhicken burrito. When I complained, the staff was very confrontational and rude. Food is good but high price and rude staff make it a terrible option.I was a regular but have stopped going there and unlikely to go in the future. This is the second time I've visited and each time I've found they've ignored my order. First time I asked for no cheese and found it in my burrito. The second time i asked for no cheese again, and when I spotted they'd put it on, I'd said I didn't want cheese so they brushed it off with their hand, but there was still cheese on it. I also said no guacamole but when I unwrapped it, they'd put it anyway. It's really annoying that they ignore what you ask for. If it was a food allergy, this could make someone ill.

I made my first and last visit to Mi Casa Burritos at the Waterloo Station location today.Perhaps I should have known things wouldn't be great when I asked what Negra is like, only to be told "I hate beer.. and so does he!" by the server. I assume they were Muslim and this was a religious decision, which is fine.. but I would have at least expected staff to be trained to describe the drink. It doesn't even say it is a beer on the board! And what kind of beer? Even someone who doesn't drink can be trained to give a brief description. I'd be quite happy if they said "I don't drink, but I'm told it's similar to..."I would really have liked tacos. In fact, on reflection, I see that they are the main picture on the web page. However, at Waterloo Station, I couldn't see them up on the board. I'm pretty sure the options were burrito, "naked" and nachos... then the list of burrito options, then a list of sides, then a list of drinks.Consequently, I opted for a pork burrito. For sides, I went for the "nachos + dip" and churros... only to be told they're out of churros as they're popular and sell out. Maybe I'm crazy, but should staff not feed back when a product is so popular that it regularly sells out, so that more can be made or ordered? The server made my burrito and explained that his colleague would take payment. He then asked, "you wanted chips?" It took me a second to realize he meant nachos, so I said yes. I paid, received a bag and went to find a place to eat.I only looked briefly at the items in the bag, but noticed I had nachos but no dip. So I went back. I told the chap who took my payment that I have nachos but no salsa. He said, "you want nachos?" I said, "no... I have nachos, but no dip!" The server then piped up, "nachos and dip are £2. We charged you £1 for just nachos!" I pointed out that the board ONLY says "nachos + dip £2" and says nothing of "just nachos" for £1. I had ordered what was on the board. He said, "you'll have to pay £1" so I agreed. He asked what dip I wanted. There's no mention of what dips are available on the board, so I asked the options. He said "guacamole.... salsa...." trailing off as if there were more options, but gave no more. I was rather stunned that you only get guacamole OR salsa for £1, but perhaps I shouldn't be, as I was charged £1 for guacamole in the burrito! I've been out with Mexican friends in California and in London and my home town, and I've never been charged extra for guacamole with a main meal. Anyway, they put it in the bag, charged me and I went to eat my burrito. It was OK. I had ordered it medium, but it was actually pretty hot by the end. It was time to go and catch my train, so I left the rest in the bag.On the train, I felt it was time for a beer and nachos. I took out the beer... and was shocked to find that the £4.50 beer I had bought was only 355ml. In my home town, everyone complains that the local venue charge £4.50 for a pint... yet this is the equivalent of £7.20 per pint! Had I known the serving would be barely any more than a can of Coke, and I don't recall the amount being advertised on the signage, I wouldn't have bought it. The next issue with the beer was the foil on top. It was stuck to the cap and wouldn't come off, and so it started to flake off. This left it serrated and stuck to the top where you would place your lips when drinking - not a nice sensation. That wouldn't be a problem, though... this bottle didn't have a twist cap, the staff didn't tell me I would need an opener and didn't offer to open the bottle! I would have thought most customers in a train station would be about to get on a train, so would rather have an easily opened and preferably resealable top? Fortunately, I had a bottle opener on my keyring. Unfortunately, the beer wasn't very cold. Still, the worst part was yet to come... and this is truly unbelievable. The dip that had already caused so much trouble, turned out to be nothing more than sliced tomato with the most minimal token gesture of some chopped green stuff. Consequently, it was not a liquid, but very solid! How do you class that as a dip? There was no cheese on the nachos, either. What I was sold was just tortilla chips. I tried putting a piece of tomato on a nacho, but it was not nice - it had that dry, furry taste that you get from tomatoes that aren't fresh. On their own, the tortilla chips were extremely salty and inedible.What I did notice, after getting my "dip", was that the chap who charged me didn't actually bill me for the nachos at all! Consequently, I only paid £1 for the "dip". It's rather worrying that one member of staff can't take an order correctly, and the other apparently didn't hear that part at all (despite me saying it twice and his colleague confirming with me that I wanted "chips").The food (and definitely the drink) is, sadly, very expensive and what you get is sub-par. Everything you'd expect with Mexican food seems to be a chargeable extra, too. The staff were unhelpful and didn't get my order right. I won't be eating at this location again, or any of the chain's locations. One to avoid!

Passing through Waterloo, I have picked up a burrito from here on a number of occasions, though recent experiences have not been great.. Lunchtime... staff looking bored, slouching over the counter, and then when ordering, very difficult to understand what they were requesting.. having asked for a chicken burrito, then found the extra options a lot of hassle.. Indeed, even questioned whether it was chicken as colour/shape was not right.Nearly gave me the guacamole, which as other pointed out is extra (really??)... If you have rice, it is filled with rice as extra padding.... No... not again... tried a few too many times, and not got it right! Not a great experience at all

An occasional visit here never disappoints - OK I only visit every few months at lunchtime on my way to catch a train to Southampton but the food is always prepared quickly and efficiently. However the spicy option is just that - hot/spicy but not overpowering, in short a but 'peppy', which is what I like.

A little treat when I travel through Waterloo station. You always receive a warm smile and quick service and the burritos are always full to overflowing and packed lovely flavours. So, it's not the cheapest lunch but I don't have them every day and it's miles better than a sandwich or a fatty burger.

I was in a hurry so I stopped by Mi Casa to grab a burrito to eat on the run. Firstly I noticed that they charge £1 extra for guacamole. £1!! Even for vegetarian option. Most places in London have stopped charging vegetarians for guac as the fried onions they offer us cost next to nothing. But I was craving it so I ordered it anyway.The guy spread about a tablespoon of beans on the tortilla before heaping white rice on top. He then sent the burrito down the line where it was assembled without any further input from me. Some sort of white goo was squirted on it along with cheese, lettuce and salsa. If they had bothered to ASK me, I would have declined all but the salsa as I don't usually eat dairy, nor did I want to reheat wilted lettuce when I arrived home in 40 minutes. I did attempt to eat the burrito and it was horrendous. It was about 80% rice and had zero flavour. For this I paid £7. Never again.

Well I totally loved this, the whole blend of flavours makes for a delicious combo. The squeeze of fresh lime set everything off a treat. Made in front of me, allowing me the option to decline any of the ingredients. Yummy final result. Bit expensive, but it did prove to be filling. Wasnt impressed that I was offered several expensive optional extras (I declined). Fast service, but staff seemed fairly indifferent.

I've been to Mi Casa Burrito at Waterloo station as the little shop looks quite fancy so I decided to try! I've paid £6.95 for the pork burrito and I have to say that I was extremely disappointed! The fillings inside were tasty and fresh but the wrap itself was very "rubbery" and I had to chew it! Plus it's very small for £6,95 it's slightly bigger than McDonald's wrap with £5,00 difference! I won't recommend and certainly won't be back! Service was good! They girls were friendly! If you fancy a burrito Chipotle is better and cheaper! :( shame there's none at the station

Less meat, less flavour, bigger price. Lot's of choice at Waterloo station, and Mi Casa appear to have taken eye off the ball.

Their coriander tasted off, sort of a rotten licorice flavour. The hot sauce was unbearably hot and flavorless. This is the first burrito I've been served that I actually thew away, and I've eaten a lot of drunken burritos over the years. Avoid this place at all costs.

Costs £6, is quite small and tasted awful. Would've been better if it was just bland. Only took a minute or so for them to throw it together but I'd recommend going to one of the other food outlets in the station. The meat was dry and the flavours in the rice were overpowering. Price is extoritante considering you can get a meal deal for a lot cheaper from Boots/WHSmiths/M&S or Sainsbury's. I'd avoid this place and if you're really set on getting a burrito, look for the nearby-ish branches of Tortilla in Charing Cross and Southwark.
