"I recently visited My NAWAB 'We Have Buffet' with my family and had an amazing experience! We booked a table for 3 hours, but were pleasantly surprised when we were called in just an hour later. The ambiance was lovely, and our table was ready and waiting for us. The buffet spread was incredible, with a wide variety of dishes that catered to all our tastes. The food was absolutely delicious, and we enjoyed every bite. But the highlight of our meal was definitely the desserts! Oh, the desserts were simply divine! Sweet, decadent, and utterly irresistible. Overall, our experience at 'We Have Buffet' was top-notch. The service was efficient, the food was fantastic, and the value for money was unbeatable. If you're looking for a great buffet experience, look no further than 'We Have Buffet'! 5 stars, hands down!"

Absolute garbage management, came for iftar and scanned QR code as instructed, was first one inside in fact, then they split our table of 10 and gave to smaller groups and told us to wait 2 hours because smaller group gets priority. What a waste of time and i recommend going to "Royal Nawab" which is the original OWNER and founder of Nawab. Who started all this and this person of My Nawab took him to court to rip off the name. So remember Original is "Royal Nawab" who were much much better and cared about there customers unlike these jokers. Or i would go to "AL Walis" in manchester much better on food and customer service very considerate management. Address: The Pyramid Building,The Valley of Kings, Stockport, SK4 2JZ

Today I visited Nawabs with my family as part of our eid celebrations. The food was lovely, but what really made my experience stand out today was the service that we were provided by a lovely waitress by the name of ‘Lano’. Despite how busy the restaurant was, she was extremely patient, very attentive and served us with a great attitude. Thank you young lady for looking after us today!

The food is good but not worth the 2.5 hrs of wait! The foodhall vibe is industrial and too efficient to keep customers moving. It has no soul! The waiting area has more soul. The food variety and food quality is quite good. And tables are cleared frequently. All Pakistani/ Asian foods are available including good variety of sweets including ice creams. But the 2.5-3 hrs wait is a killer!

We went on Eid day and wasted £600. It was worst experience I would ever have. Chickpeas was nice but when went to get 2nd time they added water in the food to make sure is enough. They added water in Sagh as well. Chicken Karahi and chicken tikka masala was so bad could not believe how they running the business. I am more than happy to discuss this issue with management if they want to get in touch with me.

Terrible booking system! My Nawab does not allow table reservations for two or three people in advance—you have to come, stand in a queue, and book on the spot. Even if you manage to book, they might give your table away an hour before your actual time! They don’t take payments in advance, so there’s no guarantee you’ll have a place. What’s the point of sitting at a table for an hour before Iftar? Poor management and a frustrating experience. Be prepared to wait for hours if you plan to eat here. Avoid if you value your time!

For example instead of 3 Kg biryani they only packed 2 kg. I appreciate that they have subsequently amended the quantity in their menu, but they could not do for the order they already received. Tried to contact several times but reception was put me through the management and no one answered. I emailed but no response. So, I finally got to try the place, and while the food was definitely tasty with a good variety, a few things stood out. First, the wait time was pretty significant, which was a bit of a bummer. Also, while the food was solid, I wouldn't say it was anything extraordinary. The biggest issue, though, was the setup while modern, seemed to create bottlenecks, especially when it's busy. And when the place is packed, it gets really crowded. Like, bumping-into-people-trying-to-get-back-to -your-table crowded. It definitely impacted the overall experience. Basically, good food, but the logistics need some work.

Terrible Experience – Feels Like Leftovers Were Reused! I recently placed an order from this restaurant for a gathering of 10 people, costing £99, and I deeply regret it. The food seemed like it was made from leftovers that had just been reheated and repackaged. The butter chicken was a disaster – the chicken was completely dry and tasted old. The masala fish and chicken pakoras were even worse, giving off a stale, unpleasant smell, clearly not fresh at all. The overall taste of the food was horrendous, making it inedible. This was not just a waste of money but also a huge disappointment. If you care about quality and freshness, avoid this place at all costs!

I would avoid visiting during Ramadan as you can be waiting 1.5-2 hours way after the fast opens and if your diabetic and request something small to eat in the waiting area as you start feeling dizzy and your blood sugar has dropped and you didn’t anticipate the wait being so long you will be disregarded and told to continue waiting or leave even though this could very easily turn into a medical emergency. They only care about money not people.

Clearly, this place has become a victim of its own success. They’re popular for the food no doubt, but clearly optimising for every single seat on revenue. We are a small family of 3 who come all the way from Chester. No advance bookings allowed unless there are 10 of you. Walk ins only, waitlisted. We show up 60 min early, scan a QR code and get a timer for 90 minutes, we patiently wait and here we still are - 2.5 hours later, waiting!! Large groups come and go, even 4 person walk ins, but we get told there is just 1 table (out of 200) ahead of us… and we have to wait. Clearly 2.5 hours of anybody’s time is worth more than the food and the 30 pounds they charge for it. This has tipped over from an enjoyable, affordable experience to being made to stand l indefinitely until the last 3 seats are available! Which could be never.

Chapli kebaab, sheekh tok, chicken cheese tikka, tandoori chicken, fish pakora, haleem, pays and nihari again need to request which was served in bigs pots was delicious. Ask for onions, lemon, coriander n ginger on these it as sometimes they don’t give it if you don’t ask, there is whole lot but we just tried all the starters n dessert. One of the best was halwa puri, firni, milk cake, gulab jamun n pudding. After 7pm it was quiet. Ramadan they shut at 9. They also gave us a Ramadan biscuit as a momento at the counter that looks so beautiful.

Visited yesterday , Thursday evening during school holidays, came all the way from just past Birmingham. Car park was full so had to park in a side street, entered the venue around 8.20pm. Upon entering the venue you have to scan a QR code which then books your table, had to wait 1 hour for the table. Overall this place is mediocre at best, £25 per adult and have to buy drinks separate which are quite expensive, a jug of flat Pepsi is nearly £8 , Ziryab, Royal Shalimar in Birmingham are 10x better than my nawaab and they don’t charge separate for drinks and have more food variety. Won’t be coming back here in a rush, and if you live in or around the West Midlands and plan on attending My Nawaabs then Don’t, go to the buffets in Birmingham instead

Disappointing Breakfast Buffet Experience My family and I had been eagerly looking forward to this breakfast buffet, but unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations. The moment we stepped into the main dining hall, we were met with an overwhelming sewer-like smell. It was clear that the restaurant had attempted to mask the odor with bakhoor, but rather than improving the atmosphere, the combination made it even more unbearable. Worse still, the foul smell kept coming in waves throughout our meal, making it difficult to enjoy the food. By the time we finally left, stepping outside and breathing in the fresh air felt like a huge relief. To make matters worse, the service was far from smooth. The two waiters attending to us seemed unsure about the menu themselves, leading to confusion when we asked for recommendations or clarifications about the hot drinks menu. One of the biggest disappointments was the lack of a complimentary jug of water, something most places offer as a basic courtesy. Instead, if you wanted water, you had to walk all the way to the back of the hall and request a single glass—a setup that showed zero consideration for disabled guests or those using wheelchairs. If you wanted a convenient water option, your only choice was to purchase a bottle. As for the food, it was painfully average. While the salad bar stood out as fresh and well-stocked, the rest of the offerings were nothing special. Given the anticipation we had for this meal, it was a letdown to find the dishes lacking in flavor and uniqueness. Overall, this breakfast buffet was disappointing, from the unpleasant smell and poor service to the uninspired food. It’s not an experience we would be eager to repeat.

My wife and I traveled all the way from Birmingham to celebrate a birthday, but the experience was disappointing. Many of the curries were served cold, and when we requested lamb chops—something that should be available upon request—we were denied. This was unusual, as we’ve been to plenty of buffets, and such restrictions, especially on a Friday night, are baffling. To make matters worse, the drinks were overpriced—£8 for just 1 liter is pure extortion. When we shared our feedback while paying the bill, a staff member (who appeared to be Bengali) treated it as a joke. That level of unprofessionalism says a lot about their service. I’d strongly recommend finding another buffet where your money is truly valued with quality food and service.

Absolutely ridiculous management of seating and arranging diners. You have to go there, scan a QR code and then wait 1.5 hours for 2 people?? With absolutely no seating space or anywhere to wait. If they had better management of customers, they would advise customers to book in advance, especially big groups and even couples if that is the case when they arrive there. It should be much easier to seat 2 people but they couldn’t even do that, unless you wait 90 minutes. It’s a shame, because their food is good, but the management of the customers/seating people was very poor and quite frankly shouldn’t be allowed the way it’s done. Literally so many people just standing waiting around in the main entrance area. That’s definitely a health hazard and needs to be inspected. Even calling the customer service beforehand and they make you go to the restaurant and book in person, then have to wait another 1.5 hours! Doesn’t make sense. For a restaurant in the UK, the standards is awful.

We confirmed on phone that we will only pay for drinks on the day. However today we were charged 13.95 pounds per head because they raised price between our booking and today. We were party of 32 people and loyal customer. We do not mind price hike however there were reduced dishes compared to previous brunch. Its like proper desi business idea of someone to raise 4 pounds per head and reduce the dishes. We told at reception that we have receipt with us and he said you have to pay the difference of price which we paid saying this is the last time you are charging us 14 pounds per head for brunch. Never again!!! Make sure they give you price in writing other wise they will prefer to lose customer to ask you pay the difference.

Review of My Nawab Buffet Restaurant, Stockport, Manchester My Nawab, previously known as Royal Nawab or Marzi, holds a nostalgic charm for me, as I've visited this buffet multiple times over the years. On our most recent visit—a family of five, including a teenager and a 5-year-old—we traveled approximately 120 miles through cold, foggy weather to enjoy what we hoped would be a memorable culinary experience. Here's a detailed account of the highs and lows of our visit. The Positives Taste and Variety: The buffet continues to impress with its wide variety of flavorful dishes. This remains the restaurant’s main draw and the reason foodies like me keep coming back. Parking: The convenience of free, ample parking is a rare and appreciated feature, setting it apart from competitors. Reservation System: The implementation of a digital reservation system is a commendable upgrade. It streamlines the process, keeps track of your bills, and eliminates the hassle of long queues. Kudos to the one who brought this idea. Welcoming Entrance: The entrance remains inviting, giving a positive first impression. The Negatives Confusing Branding: The inconsistent use of names—Royal Nawab, My Nawab, and Marzi—is perplexing. Even the front of the property still displays "Marzi," which detracts from the brand’s identity. Small Plates and Bowls: The small serving utensils are inconvenient, requiring frequent trips to the buffet, especially for dishes like haleem. The rationale of reducing food waste is unconvincing, as there are more customer-friendly ways to address this issue. Overpriced Beverages: Charging for bottled water and promoting their mango lassi as a premium offering feels excessive. While tap water is free, the self-service setup adds unnecessary hassle. Congestion and Noise: The seating arrangement is overly cramped, making the buffet experience chaotic. Navigating through the crowd to get food or water becomes a struggle, especially during peak hours. Lamb Chop Dilemma: The lamb chops, one of my favorite dishes, are guarded by staff who ration them out begrudgingly. This process feels unnecessarily restrictive and even humiliating when you’re met with unpleasant looks for requesting a reasonable serving. Desserts: The dessert section is disappointing, with a significant portion of items tasting stale or leftover from previous days. Service Quality: Despite the abundance of staff, many appear disengaged—chatting among themselves, scanning visitors, and delaying table setups. A jug of water at the table or more attentive service would go a long way in enhancing the experience. Pricing The steep price increase over the years—from £14 to the current £25 per adult—is understandable given inflation and rising costs, but the value for money has diminished. The overall experience does not justify the premium price, especially when the quality, variety, and service have remained largely the same. Final Thoughts While the taste and variety of food are the restaurant's saving grace, the dining experience at My Nawab is marred by poor service, overcrowding, and an evident focus on maximizing profits. Simple improvements like providing larger plates, better service, and addressing the noise and congestion issues could significantly enhance customer satisfaction. Until then, it feels like a mixed bag—a place for good food but a stressful experience.

They have plenty of Pakistani/eastern dishes in their buffet menu like Fresh Salad Chicken Pulao Chicken Biryani Chicken Qorma Mutton Qorma Lamb Nehari Tikka Bar B Q Halwa Poori Chapal Kabab Fried Fish And many more... Atmosphere and Service was out class. Food was really great but their are some portions in which you should work especially Sweet Dish section, rest all is already very great.

This is a very excellent choice for a buffet 👌🏻. Lots of tasty starters and mains (especially the kebabs) 🤤 Though had to wait 1 hour just to get a table 😓. But it was worth it in the end 😀.

Best Pakistani Buffet In The North!! Absolutely love coming to My Nawaab! We previously went last year when it was called Merzee for a family birthday and it was so good we decided to come back this year to celebrate their birthday again! First of all, the front of house staff was very friendly and welcoming. It truly makes a difference having a front of house member of staff to greet you and who makes and effort to get to know you. The food was 10/10, everything was made fresh, right in front of you. The staff were very nice and you could tell how much preparation went into each dish. Everything tasted amazing, 100% worth the price. I know it's slightly more than other buffets, however the quality was the best we have seen in a buffet and even restaurants. They have the biggest variety, compared to other buffets. The quality of food throughout the evening was consistent and to a high standard. Free parking - location is at the back of My Nawaab (member of security is present outside the parking) The food, the atmosphere the staff, everything was great! (Especially loved seeing the framed images of Bollywood classics in the entrance!) Definitely coming back to celebrate more occasions!

Absolutely lovely, authentic cuisine with a friendly but busy atmosphere. There were plenty of tables despite it being very busy. All the foods I tried were delicious, but the chicken and kebabs definitely stand out. The Pakistani rice pudding was delightful, and the mango cheese cake was worth trying. This place will definitely be on my visit again list as I didn't get to try everything.

Rude staff, the old guy who was serving paye was too rude asked to give me extra paye instead he talked rudely. In the middle we try to use toilet which is outside and the staff follow us to the toilet and said pay first then use toiled which was so embarrassing. Food was nice but the management needs to train their staff.

Amazing customer service Loved the variety for buffet Men’s toilet needs to be cleaned more often you can smell the foul smell when u pass by. On the other hand Women’s toilet seems like heaven with the floral decoration inside. Otherwise top restaurant for buffets lively busy atmosphere.

Too dark in the restaraunt. The chefs food handling staff need to smile more at customers they just stand looking annoyed and miserable as if people are eating food for free. We are paying your wages! Get with it!

“Absolutely amazing food and exceptional customer service! Arya was a brilliant host, going above and beyond to make our experience memorable. It’s rare to see such care and attentiveness in a buffet setting. Highly recommend!

I'd rate this place like a high 3. They've got plenty of choices for food but not everything was great. It is a buffet at the end of the day so I don't expect everything to be amazing but it's was pretty decent. Lots of different starters from kebabs to pakoras to wings and many more, lots of different variety of curries and some decent desserts. Not going to lie my favourite was the gulab jamun 😋 Venue looked amazing inside and out. Friendly staff and the price was reasonable. 2 people 2 cokes and 1 bottle of water was £59.90. Definitely worth a visit if you haven't been and I may or may not comeback but still worry the first time so no regrets. 👍

Hey, its Nawaabs. Its ok not the best. I've been told that we have to go but unfortunately was disappointed in the food it was standard at best. And on top of that we told we have to wait 20 mins for our seats in an empty hall. But what can you do. Food was stale and had next to no flavour. Atmosphere 6/10 Food 4/10 Staff 6/10

Last time we went there about a year ago it's was really good, this time earlier today I went with my mum and auntie, while waiting for our food we saw the table opposite us being given the wrong orders and having to be sent back. My mum's and aunties food arrived and they had left the peas off my aunties, that was sorted quickly. 10 minutes after their food arrived I'm sat still waiting for my steak. It finally came and was missing 2 fried eggs and the pepper sauce id ordered as extras, they took it back and it came back with the missing items. The pepper sauce was like a paste more than a sauce you couldn't pour it had to scrape it out of the jug and was like a teaspoon of it. By then my mum and auntie had already finished their meals. I cut into my steak which was meant to be medium rare to find it was well done not a bit of pink even in the thickest part's just gray all the way through. I didn't send it back because by then everyone else had finished and I didn't want to wait while they cooked another steak and I was starving. The steak was chewy as anything with it being well done which I hate. Used to be good but would never go back or recommend this place if they can't even Cook a steak or basic things like all the missing items and not bringing all the food for the table out at the same time.

Oh my God, this is a place to be. My family from Liverpool came all the way and enjoyed every bit of the food. The vegetable soup was so delicious that we had to go with some take aways of it. The jolof rice still remains the best. The services were so good and environment so conductive. Weldone Spices African Restaurant. Your the best around.

Lovely little place for a drink or food. We came on a Sunday and the place was really chilled (cosy) so no surprises. The decoration is really cool, high ceiling and antlers with large paintings and wingback chairs. Very cool vibe will be coming backb again.
