Lovely Sunday lunch always made to feel welcome staff can't do enough and go 9ver and above

I must say on many occasions I have received excellent service excellent food and excellent welcome from all the staff at this establishment, as soon as you walk through the door you are greeted with a welcoming smile, a clean establishment which I highly recommend. I also have been blessed with beautiful food which I would gladly take pleasure in eating again ..

We’ll never had a problem with the food it’s been amazing the owner are amazing and can’t do enough for you we had a Christmas party down here the food was stunning and there was no problem with anything will be back and be tell people the con is the place to be very lovely food

We travelled from Hereford to have Sunday lunch with my parents who are from Merthyr and highly recommended the food. Lovely atmosphere on arrival. We sat downstairs, due to 2 elderly disabled people and ordered our 5 roast dinners, the waitress while bring our food to the table she was struggling to carry the 5plates all at once, so she approach a lady on a different table across the room and asked for help to remove the uncovered top meal and put on her table while she delivered the rest and would come back for it in a few minutes. Has you can imagine I wasn’t at all happy that someone on a different table had been handling my food and coughing all over it before it reached me at my table, so that put me off eating it all together. Plus the other 4 dinners was stone cold, I did complain to another waitress, who apologised and said I’ll ask the chef to come down to speak to you. “But never did” I paid for 5dinner in full that was hardly eaten with no apology. Unfortunately, will not be returning or recommending to family or friends. Andy Worgan.

We recently had refreshments here after a funeral. The food was freshly prepared, home made and excellent, the staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend

Had our Christmas party here last night 02/12/23. From booking to the day there was great communication. Very friendly. Food was amazing!! Our ladies who served us all night were such a delight. We all had a fantastic time. Thank you!!

poor cider selection. no air con went to see tribute act, upstairs room was stifling hot and no air up there, bar could have been stocked better considering it was a sell out show upstairs No bottled cider had to go downstairs for that. ham salad rolls and cheese and onion rolls were choice on food which were made fresh on the night

A very friendly couple have taken over this club and refreshed the place. The food is excellent.

If you are planning a event and are able to book the venue you will not be let down. I had to arrange a wake for a family member. The buffet was superb and they cater for vegans if you inform them that they will be attending.

Just had a fabulous takeaway Sunday lunch from here. I definitely give it 5 stars. I would give it 10 but the option wasn't available

Good welcome even from the man outside having a cigarette who told us where the quiz was. Selection of beers was right up my street including Sharp's Atlantic. Couldn't fault it or the bar service. Great prices as well. Friendly company for an excellent quiz including a final round on Eastenders which I switch off from. Comfortable surroundings and parking outside with disabled parking spaces. 👍👍👍👍👍

I can't recommend the Sunday lunch in here enough absolutely stunning food and the staff are so friendly and helpful I hope you go and see for yourself

The steward and stewardess are so helpful and a great place to have a party or get together XX central to all transport xx
