Best kebab I’ve had. 10/10 Shawarma/lamb wrap was like being abroad it was that good. Atmosphere was friendly and the service was great. Will travel to come here again.

I was really craving a Chicken Shawarma wrap so I looked around, didn’t even think to look at the reviews before buying from here. I ordered 3 chicken shawarma wraps a portion of chips and a can of coke for me and my family. Personally I think it was quite overpriced for what we got. Firstly, the delivery took way too long fair enough they have to prep the food ect. When the food arrived it was stone cold. The chips were burnt and one of the shawarma wraps had a hair in it (grey one to be specific). Me and my family did not enjoy the food and was a waste of £40 pounds. Not sure if I would get it from here again, Infact I don’t think I will with hair being in the food. I’m not usually the one to make a complaint but I just couldn’t bare the fact of most of the negative things about this place.

The man tried ripping me off saying to me that the price increased from the price on the leaflet which he’s got in the shop. The food was shocking how is this shop got 4.5 reviews defo not off customers?

I order Shawarma not nuggets, till when they make shawarma whit nuggets inside , and where is the platter??? Both of them have nuggets inside , really?

Found hairs in food they ask to get sandwich back to refund. No apologies neither. Order few times and this is the last one as another time the freshness seems doubtful. 2 people staff who pretend or stated they don't understand English and engage in Romanian language and little English when concerns been raised.

First time ordering from this place and I won’t be doing it again I ordered a crispy chicken rap and a burger the chips in the rap didn’t taste cooked properly I ordered it to have salad in but there was so much salad than anything else the chicken was really chewy and I couldn’t eat it it was making me feel sick also it was very cold absolutely schooling

I’m pretty picky about where I eat, but this fast food spot has won me over. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the food is delicious—sometimes they even throw in free pancakes! The place is spotless, and they always wash their hands before preparing food, which I really appreciate. I come here every week and always leave happy. Highly recommend!

The best ever! Absolutely beautiful

it was fantastic shawarma till they put someone else to do it, i couldn't even finish one it was so juicy and big, now i ate a big one and I'm starving it was very light more wrap than chicken.

I sincerely have never eaten out for a perfect blend of taste, freshness, and satisfying over all meal with every mouthful. The Pork Neck is fresh, tender, juicy and rich tasting. Complimented with crispy chips and soft potato filling. Red and white onion blends perfectly with plenty of gurkins and tomato. Every mouthful offers different tastes. All seemed on a wooden plate keeping the meal very warm. It isn't just a meal, it is an experience. The best £10 I have ever spent on food. Highly recommended and totally worth the 15 minute wait for a freshly cooked and prepared meal. I am going back tomorrow. The staff are friendly and welcoming . It's impossible to regret eating out at Mercury.

Ordered some bits, I’ve never had a takeaway like it. Absolutely full of flavour portion was huge and reflected price and then some! Best takeaway in town 100%

To start with the gent whet was serving food was smoking outside never washed his hands before handing food Atmosphere was shocking staff very unpleasant and rude Food expensive for what you get wouldn’t visit again

First time eating here and we ordered Falafel Shawarma, two mixed shawarma's and a Chicken Burger meal. It's safe to say the portion sizes and the quality of food was nothing short of fantastic, would highly recommend trying this place if you haven't done so already.

Very nice chicken Shaworma , very nice fresh salad and greet sauce

Ordered through just eat our order for us and our friends were over £50 as we had recommended this to our friends, we had only eaten in the shop and never had a take away from them. We won't be ordering again. All The food arrived cold,like it had been in the fridge & the chips were soggy. I rang the resturant to try and sort it out and got called a liar, and the man on the phone said it couldn't possibly be cold, it really was cold- very very disappointing. Nothing got sorted out as we got told the food was hot, it definatley wasn't. Customer service wasn't great, food was poor, and wasted.

Best Kebab in Barnsley for sure. Perhaps Yorkshire. I had the Chicken Shawarma with chips on the side and all the trimmings. Was utterly delicious. Watch out for the hot sauce. It's very hot!

Ordered a burger and a wrap last night. Normally I'm abit dubious when it Comes ro trying new places. But I can honestly say I wasn't disappointed. The burger was fantastic ( only downside the bun couldn't handle how juicy it was 😁) it tasted amazing and it was a great size. The wrap also amazing and huge enough for 2 people. Only thing was I assumed that qith the pice of the burger it would Come with fries. My fault for not checking but will definitely order some next time 🙂

Don't put corn in shaorma anymore, because I thought there was something rotten in it, plus, it's not put in, otherwise it's really good, not like Emanuel's anyway.

I do not recommend this restaurant. I ordered a wrap with all the toppings and only got chicken. I called them to get their attention and they were supposed to bring a new one but no one showed up !!! 😡🤬 can't handle the app, just eat !! 🤬😡

Homemade Chips. Plus non greasy kebab and burgers. Massive thumbs up from me. Up there with one of the best takeaway shops ever been to.

The staff was very friendly , the local was very clean , i ate a wrap , one of the best i ever ate , sure i will try again. I fully recomend.
