McDonalds/Costa in South Northamptonshire

One of the best McDonald’s I’ve had in a long time. The food was hot, and the fries were crunchy, just like the old McDonald’s way. Most places I’ve been to lately had soggy fries. The crispy chicken wrap was on point, and the burger was pretty good—not amazing, but still good. I will definitely stop by again.

This McDonalds was pretty busy, no one was taking orders at the counter. Everyone was having to use the self service machines which seemed to be causing a backlog. Ordering on the McDonald’s app is quick and easy. The staff getting the orders seemed a bit slow, drinks were all piled up ready but only 1 person bagging up the food. Food was what you would expect from McDonald’s.

Went and had lunch today and the service was excellent and food was delivered swiftly. However I was made quite uncomfortable by the treatment of the staff by a manager called Amanda. She spoke really rudely to them even though they delivered perfect service under high pressures

Some of the staff at this restaurant clearly need to take a course in hospitality and a course on how to speak to customers!

My sons ordered some food from Mcdonalds sixfields for his bithday through Uber Eats, it took hour and half to arrive and it was stone cold. We went down to the sixfield branch and recieved no help at all from them. You would think that because it has there name on it they would help in some way. Especially as it was the manager who dealt with the issue, but was no help. I was expecting her to offer a replacement meal. So customer service total rubbish. Ended up leaving the cold, late meal with the manager.

I ordered a sweet-and-sour dip but they gave me a sour cream and chive dip😨😨😨!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am absolutely disgusted and will not be visiting here again🤬🤬🤬!!!!!!!!!! Until the 16th of June 2019

I ordered the 3 piece chicken strips with the sour cream dip and the mozzarella dippers that are served with a spicy tomato relish. Both didn’t come with their dips, why call them mozzarella dippers if you have nothing to bloody dip them in! Sort it out McDonalds sixfields, it completely rueined my meal, dry and boring without the dip! It’s simple just to put them In the bag I shouldn’t need to ask for it if there advertised with the so called accomplishments. So annoying!!!!!!

You use the machines for ordering so can't comment on service. It came quick enough and it was the regular stuff you expect from McDonald's.

Quite honestly think they don't care in this one. I've just driven through the drive-thru. The lady who took the money, superb. Have a nice day etc. The ignoramus serving the food, ignored my hello, no response to my thank you, and got the order wrong. For this particular McD's...AGAIN. Drove away stunned at the ignorance in silence. Then to realise it was wrong..... I wont bother again. Id rather make the journey to town.

Why do they stop serving breakfast menu at 10.30am.....these days you can get a full breakfast all day at any other restaurant... get with the times...

Went last night for first time since renovation - just dreadful!!! Asked to eat in - big misake! Sat near a group of teenage girls who spent the time screaming at the top of their voices and swearing loudly. One parent with young children asked them politely to moderate their language only to be met with a torrent of abuse. The thing is everyone in this "restaurant" could clearly hear this going on - including clearly the staff who kept looking over but did nothing!!! Food (fast?) took nearly 20 minutes to arrive - i had to go and get it, When i politely asked why it took so long - the respomse was "i don't know". No apology - nothing! Got back to my seat and discovered 3 mistakes in the order - left!

Called in to the refurbished McDonalds tonight wishing we hadn’t bothered...... the queues of people waiting for their orders is ridiculous. Feel sorry for the staff as this must cause a lot of customer disappointment that they have to front through no fault of their own. Poor development and lack of thought has gone into this planning! Will not bother again.

This was our 2nd visit to this McDonalds, the first time was slow, but I thought maybe this was a one-off. But no, this time we ordered 2 McFlurrys and 1 Sundae, on the self-service till. We waited over 10 minutes for these. They work their way through the orders on the screen. This meant that we saw our ice-creams sat, melting as time went on. When we were called, I asked if I could pay separately for 3 flakes to go in the ice-cream. The lady said she wasn't sure as it wasn't on the till, so she needed to ask her Manager. Her Manager came over, looked at us and said "Yeah", like she was talking to someone who has just asked for free food, a piece of dirt. I asked this lady again for the flakes. she said "Yes, you can have them, I charge you 20p per a flake." I thought there was no way I could I didn't want them, not after being snapped at like that. 60p for 3 tiny flakes and a miserable service.

Joke ! Fast food in 45 mins for a burger ? Then sit in car and hear McDonald’s advert ! Joke. ! Avoid at all cost

My advice would be to stay away and preferably go home and cook bacon and egg: it'd be quicker and nicer. A waste of time and money.

Although it was busy Saturday midday, still it was quite convenient to find a McDonalds just off the highway serving consistent McDonalds ware. Lots of parking and both indoor and outdoor seating. Clean too.

Stopped while traveling home from wales. Managed to last until here until kids woke up and bladder was full. Took ages to wait to be served and then ages for it to arrive. When it did it was usual stuff and no complaints. Only marked it average due to the wait.

Después de 6 horas de conducir yo decidí tomar un bocado rápido para comer. 25 minutos sentado en la conduzca a través de una sencilla comida Big Mac. Todo el mundo parecía tener problemas con sus comidas. Me pidió que pare en una bahía, esperamos un 5 minutos más y mi comida. Coca-cola dieta, no un gran problema, no era frío, hamburguesa caliente, frío. Patatas fritas en el mejor preparado en parte. Decidimos volver el año y después de más de 15 minutos finalmente me dieron una comida que era comestible. El personal no parecía estar centrado y el lugar tenía un ambiente caótico

We often get a McDonalds after we have been shopping. The food is cheap and convenient and there is a good variety,

Worse service ever!!!! Everything we ordered was wrong, wrap without eggs came with eggs! Pancakes without sausage came with sausage!!! Complained to "dragous" who served us & was met with an attitude problem tutting & dirty looks!!!!! McDonald's I expect a better service!!

It was very good and quickly been served compare to some other McDonald's when you have to wait in queue for ages. The food was nice just like any others McDonald's.

Cant beat a breakfast at McDonnalds or a meal any time of the day use this McDonalds every time comming home atfer going up north.

Que te va a encantar una comida feliz. Grub bastante estándar como es de esperar, el servicio estaba bien, con una bonita chica sonriente en la zona de Mala, no hasta tener una media hora.

I usually avoid service areas like the plague but travelling early on a Sunday morning I didn't know the area and after a false lead to one McDonald's in Northampton decided to cut our losses and eat at the services. Surprisingly okay for a services (if you ignore the significantly higher price). Food was fresh and served reasonably quickly.

None of the staff serving could speak English! Tried to order a burger & the woman said "we no sell burgers" okay will have a water instead. But other people seemed to have burgers

Although Mcdonalds is a fast food brand they still have more than edible food actually there food is very nice.It is simple and you get what you ask for although sometimes McDonald's has the biggest cues in the world it is all worth it when you get the food.I recommend if you want to quickly get some food from this place you go through the drive thru, as it is a much quicker way to go.

MacDonald restaurant was standard but the prices were higher than your local town sites restaurant.Food was OKParking... BEWARE the signs and fines for overstaying the hours on the small signs in the car park.

Quite possible the worlds worst and slowest fast food outlet in the world 12 minutes wait - order 1 crispy chicken and bacon wrap and fries, 1 chicken legend and fries meal with a maltesers mc flurry and a big bacon burger meal with fries meal and mc flurry ..... Fail!! Didn't think it was that complex an order however yet AGAIN wrong order and short in the bag - so £16 for cold meals (bagging half while waiting for it to be cooked is ridiculous) and only 2 portions of chips and a pulled pork wrap instead of chicken!!! Obviously beyond the intelligence of some McD staff! What a waste (not driving 7 miles back across town so still ended up cooking lunch after our 150mle journey ..... AVOID AT ALL COST!

Watford has about 5 Maccy Dees (If you include the one down the A41 as well) but my favourite one has to be the one in North Watford up St Albans Road close to the Dome Roundabout.As all MacDonalds serve the same food the reason I give my thumbs up to the North Watford restaurant is because of the staff there.The majority of staff are extremely friendly and some will come over and speak to you once they get to know you.I love the breakfast wrap now, and I think that they should make the MacTasty a permanent addition to the menu!

This fairly new service area going North on the M1 is just a captive audience rip-off. We stopped here for a coffee on our way to Leicester and found it just about the most unwelcoming place left in the world. It is a large open building with large prices to match. The overall general selection is poor also. 1st and definitely last time here for us.

Very good quality and lovely food. Enjoyed every moment. Would defiantly recommend it. Hope you enjoy it too.Harry Bilney
