The service is horrible in the drive through you have to wait 1-2 mins to get your give them your order. It's almost like a highschool full of lazy kids Terrible mcdonalds never will be back!

I tend to go in for mcflurrys unless I'm with my grandson and then we will get good too.

Better than some mcdonalds can be very busy at time as location is very busy

Avoid.. orders wrong, food delivered cold. Very poor for a McDonalds. Very noisy for a McDonalds also. Some toilets out of order. Wouldn't go back to this one

Have had here a couple times and it was okay but just today had went and ordered some food first off they gave me 6 nuggets instead of the 9 I had ordered then the chip box was filled with only a tiny bit of them and then my Big Mac I had ordered it plain and had gotten one with a couple onions on it and it looks like it was just reused burgers from another order that was probably not picked up

My orders are always short of fries or wrong drinks, no dips no desserts. The driver tells you to phone McDonald's direct and McDonald's are not helpful they put it back on the driver. I'm disappointed with the app driver and McDonald's......

They gave me a wrong order in the drive thru. Had to go back through the system which was very busy. This lovely Grainne chastised me for eating some fries from the wrong order when I asked her for the correct order. Got new order burgers which were old and cold. Could not be asked to go back again through the system. Terrible place and not good people

I hate to leave negative reviews, but I have to. It's not the first time I order delivery and it's not the first time they forget to put something in my order, the last time I ordered three burgers, the last one is the most expensive at 9 pounds and it wasn't in my delivery. I called the restaurant and reported that my burger was missing from the order, they told me to go to the website and seek help there. On the website it is written that you need to call this restaurant - the circle is closed.

Awful service on multiple occasions if I could give zero stars I would. Horrible quality but food is good if you happen to receive what you ordered and paid for.

Disappointing Customer Service Experience at McDonald's Newry, Northern Ireland I recently had a rather disheartening experience at the McDonald's drive-thru in Damolly Retail Park, Armagh Rd, Newry BT35 6PR, Northern Ireland, which compelled me to share my feedback. Upon ordering a meal that included chicken selects, drinks, apple pies, and a latte, I encountered a series of issues that were exacerbated by the poor management skills demonstrated by the manager on duty. Firstly, despite the routine inquiry about sauce preferences for the chicken selects, it was overlooked during the order process. The situation escalated when we were asked to park up, and upon checking the order, we discovered the latte was missing. The handling of this issue by the staff, particularly the manager, left much to be desired. Despite acknowledging the error and being willing to pay in cash on the spot for the missing latte, we were met with a rigid adherence to rules. The manager insisted that we drive back around, re-order through the intercom, and pay again for the oversight. While a refund for the whole order was quickly processed at the window, so cash was able to be handed back to me yet It was perplexing why the manager refused to accept cash for the late, yet making it necessary for us to drive back around and endure further inconvenience. ( cold food and delay ) What struck me most was the lack of customer-first attitude displayed by the manager. Instead of attempting to find a quick and simple resolution, she adhered strictly to rules, disregarding the inconvenience caused to us, the customers. This experience has left a sour taste, not only due to the initial oversight but primarily because of the poor management skills demonstrated by the manager. In a service-oriented industry, customer satisfaction should be paramount, and a more flexible and customer-centric approach is necessary. I hope that McDonald's takes note of this incident and considers enhancing its training programs to ensure that managers are equipped with the skills to handle situations more effectively and prioritize customer satisfaction. Drive through... staff were absent at 6am had to wait, nobody would have noticed if I hadn't said to them,then told to drive around again,Mac muffin was stale and tasted like it had been there a while.Not a good McDonald's.

Based on a mamagment decision I have to take a trip through the drive through for each order. For a start thats just plain stupid cause your missing out on money but for a company that claims to be helping the cause for climate change thats a lot of unnecessary driving. Get it sorted.

McDonalds Newry The best place if you like your order totaly wrong and when you raise an issiue with staff all you get is angry looks. Its Like youre doing something wrong, when you try to get the food that you ordered and paid for. Third time in row got my order wrong. Instead of extra sauce and lettuce, got totaly plain bigmac and chicken bigmac When drove back to get them changed out i was met with ignorant supervisor that didnt even say sorry and threw the new burgers together(they barely looked like burgers, the meat wasnt even in between the bun on one of them). Seeing that the situation is hopeless just left for home thinking of never coming back as this is 3rd time in row of them getting some of the order totaly wrong... Atmosphere is okay Food order is always mixed up but tastes okay(sadly takes 2 visits to get food that you ordered) Service is close to worst experiences ever, staff could hardly get any worse with untrained and careless workers with big attitudes

Absolute shambles... Arrived at drive through kiosk and sat there waiting while 2 other cars went through the other kiosk ahead of me. Eventually got to the 1st window to pay and the boy goes through the list of orders on his screen but none of them are a plain QP meal for my son so he puts it through again. I get to the 2nd window and offcourse they ask me to park. I contested this as all I've ordered is a plain QP and it's still not ready in the 15 minutes it has taken to get to the 2nd window from time of order. The manager comes to window and argues with me that I only added it at the 1st window. No I didn't I explained and still they want me to park. I'm not moving they are told and now offer me a refund. I'm still not moving I want the burger that I ordered. They give me a bag and I drive off, son opens it and there is a chicken burger in it.....UNBELIEVABLE...

It is always freezing , they always send us to wait on our food from drive through my food is always cold never hot , not going to bother going back

my niece loves a happy meal as a treat I decided to have a mc crispy deluxe meal as well. Burger was ok chips were cold (nothing new there ) they were also over cooked and soft things are bad when a 6 year old comments on the state of the chips.Thankfully its a place i only go to when i'm with my niece.

Cold food and a half filled strawberry milkshake which wasn't even a liquid. Actually turned me.

This place is absolutely Greece I should have brought my ice skates I was gliding like Disney on ice DANGER HAZARD! The foods minging I should have cut out a circle of a cow and fried it myself and it would have been better. I pad’s definitely need cleaned my children came home with skin cancer because of the Greece I am so disappointed 😔 my favourite place and now it is gone to scrap like they should do with the rest of there food (nice coke tho)

Very disappointed at this joint as I have tried out most of the McDonalds all over Ireland and the North but this place is just bad. Cold to warm Big Mac that was over with sauce so the buns was soggy in minutes. No milkshake maker working. Never again. Tip go to Burger king at the Buttercrane.

Had a ladybug in the McPlant (legs and all) and when we rang to complain, were told it was a red onion and hung up on. Otherwise a great little restaurant.

DISASTER AREA..Whovever is managing this particular McDonalds is doing a horrible job of it. We have never encountered it in the present condition as we found it. Orders took forever to arrive and then absolutely cold. Totally missing items such as no mik shakes at all. When a staff member was asked what is going on, she replied it was down to new staff. But this has been the case since the year started so we conclude it has to do with management. The people coming in were piling up as we left because the orders were so slow coming out and bags of items were seen lined up still not being distributed. Disgraceful distortion of what a McDonald usually provides and SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED.

MAYBE THE WORST MCDONALDS IN NORTHERN IRELAND. I have eaten at many McDonalds all over our Island but i have no idea what's going on with this outfit but 2 cold cheese burgers that took 20 mins to get to the table...not good. We had one bite of our burgers and had to send them back not even warm. Looks like new staff that are not properly trained. Think i will give it a miss, next time try Burger king in Newry.

A bit of time to pass so here I am. Got a toffee latte which I'm fond off. I ordered a wrap of the day, a bbq chicken with lettuce. Very nice and cheap. I will try it again soon.

The food is always warm and they never get your order wrong, however, be prepared to be very patient. No matter what time of the day I went there, there's is always way too many people queuing either at the drive or inside even tho they have loads of employees

We ordered McDonald’s breakfast on the Mymcdinalds app, paid for it everything. I went to check order status and it said it was delivered but we didn’t receive any food. Called McDonald’s and the girl on the phone was beyond rude and impatient and I know first hand from working in retail it is no acceptable to speak to a customer is such a way. They said they basically couldn’t do anything about it and to contact Uber eats. This is the 2nd time this has happened and it’s disgraceful. Would highly suggest that they either discontinue delivery services or get their own self employed drivers and this is peoples hard earned money and they’re paying for goods they haven’t received. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone and would highly recommend some staff training on customer service

What a dump. Paid for my order and waited 30 minutes while people who made orders after me collected their orders . I asked 3 times what the problem was and told me it was on its way. I ended up having to leave without having my lunch. Complete joke

It isn't the best MCD about always seems to close earlier than normal. Or runs out of food been down a few times and around 6.30 and don't let anyone in some times you can't get Coke zero or nuggets. Staff are still very helpful and friendly and is always clean.

I ordered food from McDonald’s today and it was the worst experience ever. When I got my food it was completely wrong and cold. And due to allegations I was not able to eat it !!!! my partner complained and nothing was done even ordered me a. New one and it was the same. I’m extremely allergic to onions and even the Big Mac sauce and making it very clear about it they did the exact same thing and put it all on the order!!!! I had to bin the whole order. And when I tried to call them up multiple times I was ignored. If you want good customer service then I advise u to go anywhere but here

According to the moonbeam that set up the google opening times, the place is actually not open 24/7 on a Friday and Saturday. Here at 4.42 am Saturday morning to find the drive thru is coned off.

Total shambles. No matter how small or basic order is in drive through they ask wait in car park. Car park never has spaces available when this happens. Wait exceeds 10 minutes plus on numerous occasions. Staff wander around car park like lost sheep looking for customers. What a farce. Will never return.

Food is never hot and they never have milkshakes after 10 at night is that because they've cleaned the milkshake machine and cant be bothered using it again..

Visited McDonald’s today at 20:44 on the 14/04/2022. My fella and I went through the drive through, had to wait 10 mins to place our order, then we near crashed into the car infront of us because the doll on pay was staring at us and waving the card machine in our face when we weren’t even close to her. Then when we went to collect our food, we were told to go park and the food will be brought out to us which happens every time we come here. There was only four cars infront of us like, it’s not hard to keep on top Of that amount of orders. My fella also asked for four dips before we were told to park and we barely got any so my boyfriend had to then go in again and get them.

The place was organised, food was warm and nice even though we had to wait for too long to be served and when we got in the table we sat on wasn't cleaned so we had to clean it ourselves but staff were working as fast as they could so I feel that the overall review was ok..

Quick drive through service, got no straws with drinks or salt though, even though I was told salt was in bags, check your order before you leave the window to save going back.

Went to their drive through today 13/6/2021 it was the worst Mc Donald's I have ever had their fries were pasty in colour under cooked no salt and tasteless the burger bap was stale definitely give Damolly a miss from now on.

Just back from a day trip to Warrenpoint, drive through was backed out to main road so I decided to walk in, got three happy meals for kids and 2 grand big Mac meals fries were very undercooked white in colour + uneatable I understand they are busy but no excuse for not cooking the food properly

They have removed every veggie option from the limited menu however can add multiple new meat options! Does not cater for all! Not impressed! Will not be back!

An ideal place to stop for a snack travelling between Dublin and Belfast.

No front of house staff to take order just typical of this hole. Waited 10 minutes then just left why bother.

Would’ve taken my children here for a treat every so often, and before it was done up, it was just as you would expect from any other mcDonalds...fast food, pleasant staff, decor McDonald’s style etc...But now since it’s been done up, it’s a nightmare...I have been a few times, and each time, somethings not right. I had put it down to teething problems, but that doesn’t appear to be the case.... The majority of the staff are obnoxiously rude, food seems to be “thrown” into the boxes, dressing on burgers not always correct, very often you come away with no napkin or straw..because you forgot to “ask” for them...Most of the young girls working here have such a bad attitude, as if you are interrupting them fixing their nails or hair etc...Seriously McDonalds...!!! Get your act together and start hiring staff with manners..and the ability to do the job they are getting paid to do !!!

Went in just for coffees as usual no staff at the counter. So ordered on the screen to try and speed it up 5 minuets later a sleepy head came down no apology and handed me a tea and a coffee. Ffs 2 coffees how hard is it. If there’s any other coffee shop open I advise go there instead.

Waited ten mins to place order this morning and when I was eventually served the duty manager was very nasty and cheeky don't think I'll be going back any time soon

Myself and my family just went to McDonald's drive through and the attitude and ignorance out of their so called manager is disgusting!! After letting the girl on the till know that our order was wrongly priced we were assured that the order was correct and that we could collect our food at the next window. When we arrived there we had been giving the wrong order. When approached by their so called manager the rudeness and cheek was disgusting. When we finally received our order my son who wanted a chicken nugget meal was handed a burger meal. I have only recently started eating out of McDonald's again but after today's experience i won't be back

New self service touch screen menu's is the best invention. Easy to use, easy to pay. Only thing what's left is to pick the table and order will be brought to you. Brilliant!
