McDonald's in Oadby and Wigston

Presentation of food is terrible, all my burgers been squashed, 2 fries from the menus been missing, the parking area is a mess, service is slow. Not recommended at all! AVOID!

I ordered food through the app and collected at the store. When I got home, I realized there were only this many fries?! May I ask where the rest of my fries went?!

Appalling service, managers couldn't care less, Shake machine always seems to be offline and waiting for parts. Trying to complain to the manager is no good as they refuse to tell you who that is, or in the case of a duty manager, refuse to tell you their own name! Complete shambles, and I'm being very polite here. Previously, when we've had food from there, it's been average at best. Very unlikely we'll be visiting again.

Food was great- no complaints there. HOWEVER ordered a mcdelivery and the driver was the rudest person I have ever encountered. I was working in a busy shop at the time and was completely unaware that the driver had rang my phone. When he eventually turned he up he shouted why had I not picked up the phone. This was said in front of customers that I was serving. I explained that I had been busy. I turned around to walk out the door in a big huff, STILL CARRYING OUR FOOD ORDER of £40 When I called him back he was not amused. Eventually left the order on the counter after much grumbling

If you’re desperate for a McDonald’s, drive to Almond Rd, Market Harborough, or any other McDonald’s. The food quality here is terrible compared to other sites. Also, check your order before you go because there will be at least one thing wrong

It catered for our needs to our satisfaction

Gave me wrong drinks, I gave them back, then threw the wrong food at me also, bag open unfolded. A mess inside, just walks away from window not even allowing me to say wrong food, then finally finds my food once he comes back to window. Throws it at me again open ripped bag and walks away again without waiting for me to even open my mouth, all this while he’s being supervised by another clown. At this point I’m not happy, as I wasn’t even able to ask for sauce so I shout the supervisor over, no care in the world. Get home chip are less than a small portion when it’s meant to be a large meal, food cold to the touch not even a straw for my drink or paper towels in the bag. No soft drinks available but want to charge you extra for milkshake. Disgusting! The service here stands out as Worst McDonalds in Leicester, there simply is no service. Iv gave you too many second chances this is the final straw. You’ve lost a customer who’s been visiting you since the day you opened over 20 years ago. Absolute shambles of a place, you can see why McDonald workers have a stigma

Drive through gets to busy, no milkshakes or soft drinks available and food was cold when we picked it up from the drive through. 2\10 wouldn't come back again

Personal grosero y artículos perdidos fuera de orden. Pedido de una comida y salsa Big Mac, se le dice que vaya a la ventana de extremo y esperar. Tomó unos 10 minutos y luego la comida fue entregada sin agradecimiento ni palabras. También se olvidaron de la salsa que pedí así que tuve que pitar bocina y pedir de nuevo. Sin disculpas ni palabras de nuevo. No se utilizará de nuevo

Meal was warm but dry and the chicken was tasteless. Second time I’ve had a takeaway from them like this. There won’t be a third. Waste of money!!

Ordered adult meals, no soft drinks available, no milkshakes available only kid size drinks or hot drinks. But still full price for adult meals, with 1 tiny fruit shoot.

Rude customer service as there was a wrap with the wrong order as they refused to comply with my order and denied.

The time kept changing, as a driver wasn't assigned. it arrived STONE COLD When requesting a refund I was told you can only have £8 credit not a refund as they don't do that for cold food, thought this was an insult as I waiting ages for cold food that was in edible. I believe the fault is the driver not being available when the food was ready, as well as the restaurant not re making the items after they have been sat there too long!

The burgers were actually the nicest iv had from a maccies all peppered n cooked nice, deffo recommend this McDonald

A good McDonald's & open 24 hours. Unfortunately on my last visit there was a horrendous smell from the toilets which stank out the whole restaurant.

Ordered through macdonalds app. Wrong order sent. Phoned the restaurant who told me it was uber eats fault and u need to ring them. But uber eats are just the delivery drivers they don't bag the orders up. Refused to send the correct order. Won't use wigston macdonalds again.

The wraps were poorly made and all the salad and chicken was falling out the other end.

Ordered a chicken nugget sharebox with only 15 nuggets, unable to count to 20. Then they wanted me to drive back and bring my whole order back, useless.

Absolutely useless. Our last order got Ubered via the McDonalds app and there was a burger missing. They advertise ordering online like it is better that getting it yourself in the drive through. It turns up cold and half your food is missing. Clearly the staff need training or replacing. Never again. I recommend not using Mcdonald's at all and letting them fall into obsolence like Wimpy. At least Wimpy could make a decent burger. 0 out of 10 for everything. RUBBISH.

Usual good service you would expect from MacDonald's but sadly a customer seemingly unprovoked punched another customer and it all became very unpleasant. Felt sorry for the staff having to deal with this issue. Police attended quickly but also had to deal with unpleasant behaviour. Wished we had stayed at home!!

Useless, just ordered grilled chicken salad and mcplant specifically for a vegan, got breaded chicken and a mayo chicken burger for the vegan!

Food Standards Agency would have a field day here. Food served cold. Always check your drive through before leaving. And be prepared for condescending attitude when you complain. McDonalds Wigston ... FUBAR. Thanks Ronnie, another crap meal.

Drive through is a bit slow but food is quite good.

Delivery man was absolutely lovely missed the house so had to go on a little stroll but he was great

my food was cold when i come and one of the drinks had spilt all in the bag all in the mcflurrys so we couldn’t even eat them and my drink was half empty

Enjoyed our meal. Food was good and the service was fast. Although we didn't get ketchup with our meal, I had to go to the counter which took a while as the staff were busy. The atmosphere was ok but for a lunchtime meal the restaurant was very quiet.

Food was a mess and most of my order wasn’t delivered. Over half of it wasn’t delivered yet I only get the money back not the service charged and delivery even though I got next to nothing. Disgraceful.

Since the re-opening this place has lost that warm friendly feel for families, now it's just a conveyor belt of food with no atmosphere.

Advertising charging points so I came in to charge my van and a Non Electric vehicle parked in the bay phoned the restaurant as we have only 90mins parking but he spoke as if I had 2 heads if you advertise something please ahere to the rules

Little different experience 😞 Food is good but this time the spicy chicken wrap got different chicken that chicken strips, not sure when they changed.. Secondly, area needs little more cleaning and regular cleansing Kids running and making noise than simply enjoying game stations Hope to see improve in future!

Managers rude and lies the food also tasted off and definitely wouldn't recommend to anyone even if they was desperate the staff will basically just laugh at you and get police if you refuse to move with no refund

Frequently have missing items in the drive through, worth double checking when you get round to the car park. edit 2 weeks later - tried in store this time and ended up missing a whole burger. fixed it but won’t trust they get it right again

Since the refurbishment the place is uninviting. The refurbishment hasn't improved anything it was just to save them money and customers have been neglected. You have to ask for everything such as napkins, sauces, straws etc which puts more stress on staff. Seating is uncomfortable and cold, decor is lazy and ordering your food in person is harder to order, they act like you are putting them out when you want to order food in person and not on the computer screens. No customer focus at all with the refurbishment

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a fantastic experience at McDonald's in Wigston! We ordered two McCrispy Burger meals and a veggie burger meal, and everything was perfect. The service was impressively quick, and our meals were served fresh and hot. A special shoutout to Rizvana, who made our visit even better with her warm smile and helpful attitude. It's rare to find such friendly and efficient service, and Rizvana truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. We'll definitely be coming back soon!

iv’e been to the drive thru in wigston mcdonld its been second time getting the wrong order so many things missing at the end they are not accepting mistake and so they offered to give free food so if the customer spends the money for the food they need the right stuff they ordered in the first place.And not free food and for and all customers should check there order properly if they are visiting that mc donalds

Placed an order for collection, went to drive thru and was told to wait in bay 1, they gave me my milkshake. I waited 13 minutes and guy turned up with my order and asked me to check it. After checking I told him it wasnt my order. He went back in 10 minutes later came out and said sorry, we have checked and everything is there. So I drove home, only to find my order was missing items. I drove back went straight inside and told them, they didnt say sorry and said we will give you the missing item. I told them to make the whole order again as it was cold now. They made it again and I checked it. If you want something fast might be quicker to drive to another location. Worst experience iv had.

Yet again things missing but it's the customer service when you phone up that got the star rating dragged down. No sense of organisation. Manager is RUDE and there is ALWAYS something missing. Edit: dear god they have been closed for refurb but apparently no training. We finally used the damn app and STILL stuff missing. When I phoned they put the phone down on me and when they finally answered they were so rude and dismissive.

I’m absolutely disgusted with my experience at this so called “new and improved” McDonald’s. Despite the brand new fit-out and all the latest technology, they managed to completely botch my order. How does that even happen in a restaurant that just opened two days ago?! But what really got me was the attitude of the staff. When I pointed out their mistake, instead of apologising or fixing it immediately, they just smiled at me like I was the one in the wrong and told me to wait in the bay. Seriously? I’m left wondering what exactly was “improved” here because it’s clearly not the service or competence. If this is what we’re getting from the next generation of McDonald’s, then it’s a massive, shameful failure. Get your act together! Definitely not be visiting again will go to the other branch next to Morrisons

Waited in the drive thru que for over 40mins awful service told to wait in bay 1 no food came I then went inside to collect my food no point in drive thru. Food was cold and short on nuggets. Awful mcdonalds no point in refurbishment still rubbish.

Its lovely, you should definitely visit. Can be a bit messy sometimes but very wheelchair friendly and kid friendly.

Don’t pick up the phone when you’re ringing out the order.

driver arrived 10-15 minutes late. drinks were damaged so bag was broken and no drink left in cups. missing chicken nuggets and double cheese burgers. driver didn't care that he had damaged the order.

Ordered an Egg and Sausage McMuffin. Got a screwed up package containing absolute rubbish. Overcooked egg, a cheese slice and no sausage. Back to the counter, where the staff were blocking any access to the counter, they were talking and dancing and totally oblivious to their customers. I did resolve my missing Patty, by which time the rest was cold and unbearable. NEVER AGAIN.

We tracked the driver and saw he took a wrong turn. When we got our drink it had clearly been knocked over cos the bottom of the bag was soaking wet so we couldn't use the straw and a lot of the drink was missing

Order has been made and paid for but the wrong order has been delivered. Have contacted customer service who gave me the number for Uber. When I rang they told me they would not give a refund as it was against their guidelines and hung up. No other option was given and the store did not answer when contacted.

My food wasn’t the greatest. My fries was hard and stale. Nugget was the same. My burger was fine.

Two orders in a week twice missing food twice points taken off my app gave it the benefit of dought first time around even checked the order with Uber eats second time he said contact the branch after 15 minutes I got holly the rudest member of staff I have ever spoken to in my life telling me not there problem don’t actually come from a McDonald’s kitchen it’s not there fault can I get a response where the food if actually being cooked we are eaten clearly customer service has gone out the window will be avoiding at all costs from now

The staff member are cheating, costumers I can write a lot of examples, but one of them is never had what I was ordered alway was something missing or instead quarterponder I had double cheeseburger. I am not recommended 😐

Can't get worse than this. Ordered 2 mcflurry and 4 caramel pies. Got my mcflurry which the girl at the drive through dropped off the work top, then couldn't stop giggling with her colleagues. And pretend as if nothing happened. Then I got told we wait in bay 2. Waited 17mins with my melt mcflurry for 4x caramel pies... go home, open the bag and noticed its not caramel pie, its apple pie. And then check my account, I got scammed by McDonald's with £79.13 bill for 4x wrong pies and 2x molten mcflurry.... avoid this branch at all cost. Staff here are careless, disrespectful and unreliable. Unsafe. They could be picking up chips from the floor and putting it in your bag.

It had been about 10 months since we had been to a McDonald's, and that was poor . But this one in wigston is local, and we thought let's do something different and ordered on the app for collection ... by the time we got home which is literally a 5 minute drive the airfryers were taken out to reheat the offerings .. the fries 🍟 tasted better as they were hot and had some colour and the cheese burger was OK too as that was hot and toasty ... as you can see we don't go to mcdonalds very often ... KFC for us ....

Once again the delivery went to the wrong address, this is the 5th or 6th time this has happened in the past month or so. So when I eventually did make the delivery driver undestand that he was not at my address and he came to the correct one, once again my food was cold.

If 0 stars was possible that’s what this store deserves. After waiting over 15 minutes for food for it to be FREEZING COLD. Had to heat it up due to having a dad that sufferers with Hypos due diabetes. When calling the store they said you need to return the food for it to replaced. However much we explained this isn’t possible they kept repeating themself…. Ended up offering them it back in a sick bag if they wanted it! Absolutely disgusting service and that’s from management. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Food is clearly not fit for purpose… unless you enjoy cold food!

Honest review: Okay, so I have been using this McDonald's for a few years now. I thought maybe it was a one-off, but it has happened again. So, my grandma normally comes over to see me and her grandson and brings us McDonald's every week. Two weeks ago, she bought some back, and the quarter pounder hardly had anything in it. And again this week, too. I mean, are we stockpiling lettuce? The quality of the food has dropped in recent weeks. McDonald's, please can you fix this? It has happened with a few other people I know around Wigston, too. Normally, it's good, but recently, the quality has dropped.

This McDonald's over time has become the local youth club, it gets filled up with school kids taking up tables sharing 1 drink, the swear and get loud and leave a mess wherever they have been, it's becoming an unpleasant space to dine in, the poor staff are helpless as rules and laws stop them from being able to do much about it!
