Mayhap Coffee in Wigan

We stopped by Mayhap Coffee in Tyldesley for afternoon brunch on Sunday, and it was a great experience. Parking was easy, as the main roads nearby don't have restrictions on Sundays, making it super convenient. The venue itself is lovely, clean, well-maintained, and with a great atmosphere that’s both welcoming and stylish. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food and coffee came out super quick. The food quality was top-notch, with everything freshly prepared and delicious. Given the proximity to Manchester, the prices were very reasonable, which was a pleasant surprise. We would highly recommend stopping by.

Extremadamente caro para lo que tenemos. Un pequeño troceador de pan con medio aguacate. El desayuno bap insípido y de nuevo masivamente caro. No volverá.

Muy ocupado pero bien vale la pena esperar a que una mesa salga gratis, excelente comida y servicio. Muy una joya escondida en esta zona 👍

Recomendado por un amigo que vive en Tyldesley. Definitivamente no decepcionado! El lugar está impecable. El servicio es atento, rápido y eficiente. Menú y comida una delicia. ¡El café tampoco está mal! Es 10/10 de mí.

Beautiful breakfast. Reasonably price, perfect sized portions. Very busy but didn’t have to wait too long. Will definitely return and highly recommend

Literally the best pancakes! Huuuuuuge portions! 🤤 can get really busy but definitely worth the wait! The other menu items are lovely too!

Wow! The food is next level! I had the vegetarian breakfast with sausage meat. The tastes were just phenomenal. I also had the Bakewell blondie and double wow!! There’s usually a queue out the door but it’s worth the wait. Can’t wait to try the French toast.

Have visited many times for coffee, breakfast and brunch. Food, staff & coffee all amazing. Weekends are very busy and a wait is inevitable as so many people want to visit.

First time we have had chance to try this place I have to say the breakfast (Turkish eggs ) was outstanding but for me the coffee is really spot on Really nice bar and chairs to sit on service very efficient. You really must try trust place but get in early as it's gets busy

Went for breakfast with my daughters we had a full breakfast , eggs Benedict and biscoffie pancakes , it’s not the cheapest place but by far it’s one of the best!!

We don't live in tyldesley but had been wanting to try this place for a while. Finally got the chance whilst waiting for new tyres on car. We weren't disappointed. The place was very busy ( always a good sign). We were greeted by a very pleasant member of staff who found us the last 2 seats. Went to the counter to order and again served by a very pleasant member of staff. Ordering very efficient. We had a coffee each (Americano and flat white) which were very nice. We also ordered the Sourdough toast - 2 generous slices with butter. It was delicious. Looking around, people had ordered a variety of food from the menu and everything looked delicious and served in generous portions. Really nice atmosphere, nice decor and surroundings. We will definitely be back - please come to Leigh, Mayhap, and show the cafes there how it's done properly!

My boyfriend and I have been wanting to try this place since it opened, We finally got round to it and we weren't disappointed. The food and coffees were delicious just like Moose Coffee in Manchester. Thank you for opening this coffee shop in Tyldesley it will save us on bus fare and a trip into Manchester.

Cafe is modern and spotless throughout. Food looks and tastes amazing. Best cappuccino I've ever had and a proper cup not the usual mouthful of cold froth. Staff can't do enough for you and very pleasant

First time visiting and found the place on Instagram. Free parking available a short walk from the cafe. Location is great, in a nice spot in the centre of tyldesley with nearby shops. Food - DELISH!! Coffee - Tastes great and served with neat coffee art! Menu - great choices and even better portion sizes! Would recommend

Coffee was fine but a little over priced, £4.95?? And the extra cost certainly isn’t for the service… The staff were lacklustre at best, they looked like 2 people who hate their jobs. They didn’t even look at me when they took my order, no good morning or how you doing or anything and both looked like they’d rolled in from a 3 day weekend at a festival without going home and showering first. Also some of the female members of staff have been rude to my girlfriend on occasion when she has gone in. I’m all for supporting local business over a Starbucks or something along those lines but not when the experience is as poor as this!

Our new favourite cafe :) fantastic coffee , best coffee around ! breakfast options great variety and large portions . We had the pancakes which were amaaazing ! 🥞 Very attentive and friendly professional staff Little mix up in the kitchen today but as a gesture of good will offered us free drinks . We went with two other friends and our dogs Highly recommend this cafe for breakfast and would love to try lunch next time 🤩great decor very clean , thankyou for a lovely morning

Amazing breakfasts. Visited a couple of times now after being recommending numerous times and I can see why. Food is excellent. I don’t drink coffee but my husbands assured me the coffee is great and I had one of the milkshake type drinks and it was really good. The pancakes are so fluffy and I’ve also tried the veggie breakfast which was really tasty too.

We came here on recommendation from family and as a group of 8, not easy to seat. The staff could not have been more accommodating though, getting a couple of extra chairs so we could be seated together. The food was amazing with huge portions and everything was of high quality -plus the best coffee I have had in a long time - we all enjoyed. There were queues out the door and I can see why. We will back soon !

Saw this place in the Bolton News and it looked like it was straight out of Manchester City centre! We decided to take our 8 and 1 year olds for breakfast during half term. Beautiful decor and very friendly staff. Oat milk baby chino to satisfy our 1yo with a milk allergy. When we asked what he could eat, the man serving us made sure to double check with the kitchen. Whole place was very clean and the high chair was one of the cleanest I’ve come across. I didn’t need to wipe it myself as it was disinfected there and then before use. Food was beautifully presented and tasted great. Pancake portions were absolutely huge and we didn’t manage to finish them. Very spacious and clean disabled toilet with a baby change on the wall. Great value for money and a fantastic experience. Will definitely return.

Food and service was excellent, if I had to make one criticism it is to get some kind of heating in the cafe as it’s freezing and you need to keep your coat on which is not ideal when the food isn’t cheap. Felt like I was at home saving on energy prices.

Like in one of the pictures, there was a queue outside to get in, which is always a good sign. We went on recommendation, so it was a first visit for us. It took a short while to wait to be seated, then when we went to order we were advised it would be about a 40 min wait. Decided to go ahead as had got so far anyway, ordered drinks and waited…..Got food envy looking around at the other tables food and got quite excited in anticipation…. and waited… they forgot the drinks order…and waited …it was over an hour to get the food brought out. So this was the huge disappointment for us. The queue outside was getting longer and they ended up turning so many people away. However, when the food arrived, it was top notch, really good quality, great amount of food and just right! Not sure if it’s always like this, but you’ve let yourself down and the customers you turned away. It obviously needs investment in extra kitchen staff to cope with demand. There were plenty of waiting on staff hanging around with their phones in front of them not busy! But get a good turnaround to accommodate the huge amount of customers that want good service as well as the amazing food you serve.

This was our second visit to Redemption. The flavours and quality of the food and coffee is superb. Honestly the best breakfast I have ever had! So nice to have this on the doorstep. Clearly the owners are putting a tremendous effort into this place. Can't wait for our next visit ☺️

Only been twice in the past year this place has been open and I’m sorry I waited so long to visit! It’s always super busy which is so lovely to see in a small town. The coffee is incredible and don’t even get me started on the food! Pancake lovers - this is a MUST visit. The over night oats are also a firm favourite. Incredibly friendly staff, dog friendly and great service every time. My next aim to try at least every item off the menu at least once. The best thing to happen to Tyldesley and surrounding areas for years.

Decided to have a nice lunch with a friend and chose Redemption. Absolutely awesome food, staff were so lovely, atmosphere is very nice and the place is very clean. Portions are huge. My pancakes were the childs portion and I managed half 🤣😋 most definitely...

Love love love this place! Visit regularly and am always impressed. Staff friendly and helpful, food homemade and delicious and the coffee is fab. Be warned- the pancakes are HUUUUUGE! You will roll out after eating them 😂 Crosissants are the best I've tasted also.

Honestly the nicest coffee I have ever had, the only place I’ve ever got a takeaway cappuccino made with oat milk and it actually be full of coffee! Most places do not understand how milk alternatives react to frothing! Food was amazing did have to...

I feel immense disappointment from my lunchtime visit today. I have eaten really here in the past but today ruined those previous experiences for me. I chose to try the Philli cheesesteak much to my regret. Simply put it was an overly sweet, wet, soggy...

What a stylish place, food speaks for itself, superb coffee, an array of fresh pastries , friendly staff and a lovely cool vibe, free car parking for 2 hours near by. Nice to support a independent company too, highly recommend

Finally somewhere that does great food in the local area. Staff super Friendly. The food was gorgeous. Will definitely try the pancakes next time, they looked amazing. The atmosphere was great, little bit hipster which we love for Tyldsley. All round awesome.

Several visits some take out coffee & cake , some sit down for breakfast or brunch. Unable to fault anything, only suggestion would be different sized cups for takeaway coffee??

Called in today with mum after the event on the square.Excellent service we had coffee ,cheese and ham toastie and donut.The force was lovely fresh and not ,toastie was superb and the lemon drizzle donut deck e.All staff were very friendly and chatty also knowledgeable...

I visited today with my mum for lunch. The food is fantastic, great value and quality ingredients. The coffee is just as good and there is a real sense that the staff want you to have a great experience.

Great spot. Came for coffee on a Sunday afternoon but couldn’t resist having some food. Philly steak sandwich was delicious. Got carried away and went for the pancakes also. Great food, atmosphere and staff.

Probably one if the best breakfasts I have had in a very very long time!! Very different from your greasy spoon, the food is healthy, extremely tasty and cooked to perfection. Definitely worth a visit, we will be back. Oh... the pancakes are to die...
