Bloody brilliant pub. Only complaint the pub should be renamed Masons Arms to be reyt

Used to drink in the masons 15 years ago, first time I’ve been in since then. Went with a few members of the family and we all said the same thing. Burgers are fantastic, chips are home cut and cooked and it has gone from one of the more expensive rounds on crookes to one of the cheapest, lovely burger washed down with a well priced lager. lovely. Burger had bubble and squeak and hendos gravy, chips had cheese and bacon.

Watched the England game here the atmosphere was amazing

It was pretty empty when we went here. Beer was good but being empty it was pretty boring. The pool cues are atrocious too!

Great little pub, great atmosphere, fantastic beer garden and friendly staff giving excellent service and top ales on offer ,what's not to like ? Highly recommend a visit

Visited Sunday afternoon. Good selection of beers. Manager would not except paper £20 note even thought its legal tender until the end of September.

Dropped in ad-hoc and had a great evening. Nice atmosphere and welcoming staff with a friendly bunch of locals. Went back this lunchtime and had a repeat experience with lovely staff and locals. Will be delighted to come back the next time work brings me into the area.

Recently reopened after several months. Was very quiet as I guess they need to build up trade. Only one real ale. Bradfield Farmers blond. May add more if trade picks up. My pint was OK.

First visit in a decade, maybe longer but I was impressed by the decor and feel of the Masons. The drinks available were severely restricted due to new licencees moving in who told me that they had had delivery issues. Perfectly understandable. The pub is bright and clean with TVs in both rooms. There's a beer garden for when the weather improves. A good community pub - go check it out.

Hidden gem in the heart of Crookes. And it shows sport. Winner.

Plenty of beer choice. Plenty of outside seating with Sunshine all day. Outside TV as well, a summer must.

Lovley modern pub. Newly refurbished. Good atmosphere. Lovely friendly staff. Couldn't do enough for us.

Where to start. The improvements made have been massive. Both bars are class the beer garndan is the best in crookes. And the staff are lovely

Lovely pub, BUT!!!!! What a very very very bad experience, under staffed - waited half hour for drink.. think the land Lord needEd to get out of his pit and help the bar staff!!! Late night or not. Asked for refund...

Looks great after the refit. New owners have done a great job, Staff are friendly, Sport on big screen, Good selection of drinks & bar snacks. It's got a cozy feel to it.

Looks great from the outside but needs updating on the inside, maybe it's due to be done soon and if it is done in keeping with the outside then I think it should look quite nice. It's not a big place so probably quite busy when major sports events are on sky and probably quite noisy when live music is on. They seem to suggest a selection of cask ales on sale although didn't seem obvious at the bar although they do serve Timothy Taylor landlord which I had.

Little bit tired and in need of decor.

Went to the open mic and was made to feel really welcome. The landlord obviously works very hard to accommodate a while range of entertainment for his customers. A purpose built stage and p.a. , and a good crowd of folk who were very content to watch and listen to some really quite good quality performances. Live music nights and other entertainment is on here regularly. Oh, and the stout was lovely! Well done landlord Tony, you're doing a grand job!

Super bar staff, very helpful, and a good music venue too. The acoustics in the room are great. A really enjoyable night.
