Good place free sanitary products for ladies never seen before in pub

Stopped here for a drink whilst out for a ride on my bike. What a great pub. Love the atmosphere here. Saw some Vets there who were very friendly. Will definitely go again.

After a topsy-turvy post covid history, we finally have a great pub again! with a serious pint of Guinness drawn through well cleaned pipes with proper tulip glasses 😍. Keep up the good work, your determination,expertise and hospitality are definitely paying dividends 👌🏻

Lovely old fashioned pub in the market square, cracking real ale, strongly recommend.

Traditional, unchanged old pub, town centre location, quirky and full of character. Excellent selection of real beer from a local brewery. Outside seating on the market square and in a small back garden.

This place used to be great, went to car show this wked,spent fri/mon in the town been before and had a really good experience. Now it would appear that only very Loud big mouth locals get served when they just barge to front of que on pretex off chatting to other people. Maybe more staff serving would have helped. But saying that it's only a small place not used to coping on busy show days. Dispite being charged differant price every time went bar would have bought more proper beer.

My old local when I lived in the town. Always loved it, open fire, occasionally live music, great gardens in the summer. Friendly and welcoming. Glad to see it seems to be doing well again. Oh and a well kept pint...sorry I'm a larger girl.

Always warm and friendly, great staff, great choice of beers. Cld do with a decoration freshen up, but when the beers good.........

This is a lovely little pub that has only been open for a short while the staff where friendly and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming would recommend it and we will call in again when visiting family in the area

New managers took over in October. Tidied up and great selection of well-kept beers.

A definite must visit. A beautiful traditional untouched public house. Plus with a lovely warm hospitality. This is going to be our 2nd local drinking house.

Steve has turned this pub around in the last week. The real ale is back to CAMRA standard, cleanliness restored with a warm welcome for customers. Just ordered a godiva - enough said!

Visited this pub for the first time a few weeks ago. Great service, lovely staff and everything you want in a typical English boozer. Was also good to see some live music here after the pandemic.

What a pub. Banging atmosphere and great entertainment. The manager is a friendly chap which is the making of any pub. Barry the dog is an added charm of the pub but and again he is most welcoming.

The barmaid appeared to be more interested in playing with her mobile phone than serving me. Moreover, the beer garden was an absolute dump.

Sixteenth century ale house overlooking the market square and parish church, it sells six real ale beers from the Warwickshire beer company based in Cubbington near Leamington Spa. There is a cozy room to the rear, a beer garden / patio area to the rear, and a welcome it given for regulars and new travellers alike. Parking is available opposite or in the towns main car park behind the Angel Ale House opposite.
