Margos Pizza & Kings Kebab in Braintree

Very bad re-cooked food, quality of the food was very bad please don't order from here. Paid 10.99 for 5 chicken strips

Very rude owner - he actually swore at my husband. Food arrived late and cold. Limited available menu. For a minimum order of £20 delivery there are better places in Braintree to spend your money.

Order delivery and specified 8pm, got called at 7pm staying they were at our door, we weren't in so asked them to come back at 8pm as originally requested. They hung up and left food with neighbour so when we got home it was cold. What a waste of money! Awful! Complained but they didn't acknowledge my message. Don't use, choose someone else

My food was awful, no cola, kebab overcooked and dryer than the Sahara. Mushrooms cremated and worst of diarrhoea for 48 hours afterwards Never ever order!!!!!

I ordered a special lamb shish. You sent a chicken shish and no pitta. I called you and you said you would send a replacement. One hour later I called and you ignored the phone. I had to call on my girls phone to get you to answer as you were avoiding my calls. You told me you were now closed and wouldn't be replacing the order. Absolutely liars and jokers. Would EVER be ordering from you again.

A big proportion of the food was inedible once it finally arrived over 2 hours late, not even good enough for my dogs!! Business owner was not helpful and dismissed the complaint out of hand. Would not recommend and will never use them again!

After waiting more than 2 hrs, the meat was salty, burnt and full of fat and gristle, we threw away more than we ate, when I complained the man was not interested and made no offer of a refund. We tried calling immediately after we received but no answer. Very rude man with no people skill. Will never use again

Dry. Burnt. Cold. Tasteless 2 hour wait. £42 down the drain. Seriously. Worst take away ever. Shish lamb and chicken. Burnt. Chips cold. Burger soagy and tasteless.

Arrived over 2 hours late, chicken was burnt as well as the onions and mushrooms. No flavour. Called at 9 when we ordered at quarter past 7 and they said they hadn’t even started making it yet. It was just 2 kebabs and some chips 😂

I don’t know how people can say the portions are small. I ordered a large with a large chips because I didn’t think there would be enough and I couldn’t finish it all. Portion sizes are generous. Food all seemed fresh- chicken well cooked, not greasy. Came within an hour of ordering and was literally steaming hot when we unwrapped it!

First and last order very poor. Food was late. Ordered a large and a medium kebab, both the same size - tiny ! Greasy slimy lamb and burnt chicken kebab, cold and limp salad. DO NOT bother

Ordered pizzas, kebabs and cheesy chips, food came earlier then expected, piping hot. Loads of cheese and other stuff on pizzas and chips. Only down fall is that their isnt enough tomato sauce on the pizzas (personal taste)

All I can say is awful. I have bought food a couple of times from here over the past two weeks. Fairy enough the food is very hot when it arrives but overt time I would say 4 times now over the past two week we’ve had to wait over 2 hours for our food, We’ve phoned up about 27 times each time To be exact Today we phoned 20 times and no one answered The time before we phoned 27 times before anyone answered The time before that one we phoned 24 times. Someone answered to be told it would be another 10 minutes after that 10 minutes nothing so took another 4 phone calls to be told another 45 minutes. Then comes tonight when it was for Our family dinner. We ordered our food plus 10 chicken nuggets for the kids which never came. We have been trying to phone up over 20 times as I have said today and no one is answering. I will never ever use Margo eats again. They are awful!!!! Do not order food from them.

Used this place many years ago and forgot about it. Then on Saturday my wife recalled the name and we ordered, like hovis it is as good today as it has all ways been

ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING!!!!!! The kebabs was hard and chewy! It didn’t arrive with salad and when I rang the shop to sort this they blamed me saying I said I told them no salad which of course isn’t true! Who has a Donna kebab without salad! HANGOVER CURE MEAL RUINED!

Order through Deliveroo 2 kebabs, the order came wrong so we called them to just get told that's what we had ordered. No fix or even a sorry even though we have the proof of the order we had placed. We won't be back

Don't ever order from here. It's shocking. Their food is all supermarket purchased . I ordered a shish kebab and received sliced frozen tikka . Chips tasted and looked like they were at least a day old. Hot wings were actual Iceland frozen breaded wings !Won't give a refund or replacement either.

Food turned up over half an hour late after an initial hours wait. It was completely cold, but despite that, the food did taste good. Had it been hot it would have been a 4 out of 5. Doubt we will use again which is a shame but cold food is a no no.
