Was quite expensive for portion sizes. Appreciate overheads may be high due to location though. Not the most chirpy of staff....

Nice fish and chips a big fish look small again must be a mablethorpe thing flat fish, Nice location sea front. The fish was very nice but a bit on the small and thin side. I will use you again i visit mablethorpe alot But only 3 🌟 this time from me it was a very busy day on Sunday so you do very good keep up the service Maybe you give the wrong fish with my chips I will be back because fish was very nice Maybe next time 5 🌟 i will see, Many thanks for a nice meal.

We visited yesterday and the service and food was great. My youngest has an egg allergy which I made the team aware of and they were great and so helpful. They checked that the food was safe for him to eat. As a Mum of a child at risk of anaphylaxis this is so reassuring. Thankyou to all of you who worked yesterday!!

Had a school trip today from Coventry- spoke with Don over the phone last few days to arrange our visit and pre pay, once arrived was already cooking our food and all staff where friendly & polite- plus the students absolutely loved their chippy lunch! Definitely recommend and will be going back. Thank you :)

We had small fish and chips here today the fish was excellent, the chips were cooked to perfection, light brown in colour not the usual peaky chips you get today. Excellent taste not full of grease. Would recommend, fantastic chips with a sea view.

I had cod, chips & peas, I had to wait about 15 minutes as they were cooked to order. The cod was a good size, and it was cooked to perfection, only had regular chips but the portion was plenty enough, when I'm next at Mablethorpe I will come here again.

Only had chips. £3:50 . Bit pricey but it is right next to the beach. Good service from the staff.

Just been to Marcie's fish shop again, got to say they are absolutely beautiful. We had a good laugh with them also. We went yesterday dinner & again today, we would definitely recommend them everytime. They beat all the other fish shops in Mablethorpe & we have been coming to this town for some years now. We always went to Salties, but these beat them hands down. Just go & try them yourselves, you will never look back.

Called here on Saturday the 6th of April with our family, my husband and I had hot dog and chips ,the sausages were cold inside and under cooked and onions were not very nice, chips were good.

Brilliant service, polite staff and friendly,clean premises. Proper traditional fish and chips by the sea. Food is first class. Definitely recommend this place. 5***** from me.

Four of us stopped here for a bite to eat. I had chips and a hotdog. The chips were awesome, but the hotdog was a wee bit underdone. Apart from that, we would go here again next time we are in Mablethorpe.

Me family and I were enjoying a lovely seaside stroll for my father's 44th. We were hungry of course, so we stopped off at the closest fisb and chips. I only had a portion of chips, which tasted fine, but they were hardly worth £3.50 FOR A SMALL! Not to mention the fact that my local No. 1 RELAX bar in Grantham is £2.40 for a small... they're just capitalising on the fact that people will most likely never return anyway due to being a seaside destination. Have a rotten day.

Seafront chip shop on Mablethorpe promenade. Food was lovely, but portion size very poor. VERY expensive at £45 for a family of four as the kids only had fishcakes and a sausage and chips.

Family of 8 came in, waited to be seated inside, bit windy in March 😂, food all came out same time, hot and delicious. Highly recommended. Will visit again.

Found the staff to be very patronising, ordered 2 small fish & chips with mushy peas, and 2 drinks, it came to £29, so I double checked that it was for the small fish, only to be told it was only small chips, and they have already put in regular fish into cook, also told that it was only £1 extra per fish...first of all I didn't ask to complain, I asked to double check as the price seemed very high!, I'm guessing he was the owner who come across as very arrogant , shame really cause the fish was nice, chips was very standard, definitely not made to feel welcome. We won't be coming back I'm afraid.

A reasonably priced fish and chip shop directly on the promenade with benches available outside to admire the views. Seating inside is also available. A wide menu selection, cooked fresh to order. Overall a pleasant fish and chips on the beach!

I’m not sure how you can go wrong with a Chippy but you can! The sausage was fine. I will allocate the one star to that… but the chips were as dead as they can be! Mostly hard and just unenjoyable… the regular was like a kids portion so I went back for a buttered roll which wasn’t great… Myself and my friend although ordered one after the other, the meals were ages apart we ate at different times… we were both sadly disappointed and won’t be returning anytime soon!

My wife and I stopped here for a traditional seaside fish & chips rare for us. The chap taking the order and payment was polite and courteous. We both ordered haddock & chips £11 each and my wife also had mushy peas. The haddock were both freshly cooked to order. We waited around 20mins and it was well worth it. I recommend this restaurant if you want good fish & chips, hence all the stars.

We've visited several times now. It's in a really good location being on the promenade and has several outdoor benches which is ideal if you have a dog. The guy on service was helpful and friendly and system of ordering and then getting a number works well and a bit like Argos old system! The food is on the whole nice, portions being a little small for the price charged. Overall, recommended.

Dry fish no taste batter greasy. Straggly chips with no whole one's just odds and ends.while sitting eating man spray table choked us with fumes .think the seagulls would turn their becks up at it .waste of £25,00

Top spot for some delicious halal fish & chips fried in seperate oil and in a standard batter (its so hard to find that nowdays!) Really pleased i came here, i must admit with all my questions i felt like the tall bald man initially serving me was very hesitant and frosty but Tyler quickly swooped in and made me feel comfortable. A big shout out to you for packing my fish and chips when you could see i would struggle to hold it all even though you were very busy...abit of kindess goes a long way...i will spread the word about this lovely food stop to the rest of the family:))

A lovely cooked large cod with chips just right and a tasty curry sauce. Very reasonable prices with inside and outside seating both at the front and rear of the cafe so shaded if required. Good wheelchair access and clever number calling system for orders so a great place for takeaway or eating in. Nice friendly chaps, what's not to like. Lovely location right on beach front.

Went in for the first time several weeks ago. Freshly cooked Fish & Chips were up there with the best i have ever had. Really nice. Will be going again soon. Unsure if Macie`s offer "Gluten Free" F&Chips. ? Be great if they did as my wife is " Gluten Free" and as far as we know only St Anne`s in town do it.

Been 3 or 4 times now. I said 4, wife said 3 lol. We've come back more then once anyway way. The food is spot on, we have to wait for the food to be cooked as we have fussy kids as well. When I say wait. I'm talking 5-10 mins, and us British don't mind waiting lol. However, you know with waiting, your getting hot, pipping, fresh cooked food. We've never experienced a bad meal, or food that's not hot. We happily recommend this place and have driven over twice from Louth for Tea and a little walk first

We come to Mablethorpe 4 times per year and always visit Marcie's at least once. We wouldn't have fish and chips anywhere else! Fish is lovely, my son loves the sausage and chips. Great location. Make this the place to get your fish and chips if you're in Mablethorpe.

Overpriced compared to others nearby I think due to its location and the clientele of holiday makers who know no difference locally . I paid £5 for quite a small portion of chips and a small battered sausage for example.

Would have been great if the peas were served separately from the food. The peas made the food soggy and less enjoyable.

Visited Marcie’s this week twice. The first time we just happen to see it as we were exploring the area while walking along the beach and popped in for lunch. The fish was cooked fresh there wasn’t a long wait and prices reasonable. Staff were friendly. The kids wanted to go back again on our last day there and the food was again amazing. I would definitely Recommend this place to anyone visiting the area !!

Couldn't get any hot drinks with our fish and chips due to council regulations! Apparently there is a tea shop a couple of doors away so they are not allowed to sell hot drinks. Unfortunately it was not open when we visited on Saturday!

Called in here today and was amazed by the quality of the food. 5 minute wait while the fish was cooked fresh and excellent chips, my dog and I really enjoyed them!

Went out for the day at Mablethorpe, we stopped along the promenade at Marcie’s Fish Bar, Fantastic, skinless, boneless fish, just like I used to cook when I ran the chip shop, the chips were clean, freshly cooked( great pan rotation), the batter was of the perfect consistency. Thank-You.

This review is based on an experience from mid last week. For a seafront chippy that has "traditional fish and chips" plastered all over it, there was nothing traditional about marcies. The chips were half cooked, some still potato and some were crisp. The sausage looked like leather. Fish cake tasted like it had been dunked in the sea after it was cooked. Finally, the price of marcie's is over the top and based on the location rather than the quality of food. The only saving grace is how polite the staff were.

Have been here 2x now. Once a few weeks ago, when it was very busy. This caused a small wait for the food but I still came out hot and fresh. It tasted amazing. I have also ate from here today and there was no one waiting so the food service was a lot quicker then before. Still hot fresh and tasting great thou. I seriously suggest this chippy it comes with a great view of the beach. Also provides indoor and outdoor seating.

Might have been nice. However it was just really unorganized. I tried to order twice, but was told to join a non existent queue outside. There were only people that had already ordered and waiting for collection outside. I mentioned this to the girl taking orders only to be met with numerous confused looks. I gave up.
