this place is interesting we were really not sure about what to expect, but really the cuisine is very nice authentic. and we will surely recommend. also the people there are all friendly. their fish and prawn Moqueca dish is very nice.

Brilliant food and atmosphere, definitely recommended. I also would recommend the lobster and steak dish, followed by the mango and pistachio moose... delicious! Oh, and the green wine. Fabulous!

Absolutely fantastic this place. One of the best meals I've ever had in greater London. It's 5/5 all day long. Had the fish mixed grill, Mrs had the meat one and we shared. Both were great. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. I mean it ain't cheap but I don't think you could go to the supermarket and buy it for what they are charging, so its great value. Super super tasty too. Only thing I think they could do a bit better is I asked for bread to start and got a nice tray of lots of nice bits and that come to £12. Not bad value just could have been given the option I guess. Anyway, we are Def coming back. The table next to us had lamb and it looked amazing. I wouldn't be surprised to see this place in the top 50 places in London soon

Third time and once more not disappointed… amazing food … great wines … excellent friendly service. I am not sure there is a better restaurant in a 5 miles radius.

This is the best Portuguese restaurant I have been to in London. True to the flavours of Portuguese cuisine. The food is fresh, vibrant and delicious. Compliments to the chef. Friendly service and very attentive. The environment allows for a relaxed and intimate dining setting. Would highly recommend.

Absolute hidden gem off the beaten track in Leyton. Food was amazing, service friendly and knowledgable. We basically ate everything from lobster, to steak, prawns, goats cheese and honey & a lovely bottle of wine recommended by the waiter. Lovely chilled night out in a restaurant that is run by people who know good food and are very proud to serve it. Loved it

I went to Terra e Mar on a recommendation of a friend and they didn't disappoint! The food and the sangria were amazing - best portuguese food in London for sure! - the staff was super friendly and I loved the live music vibes, so much fun! I will definitely be back and recommending to everyone.

Excellent decor and the food don’t get me started! Is spectacular I have been here a few times now and it’s now my Sunday favourite. From the amêijoas, tamboril bife mar e terra can’t fault anything, the staff is amazing and attentive.

I had a great time,staff was great,professional and polite.always very accesible to answer any question. The food was amazing and the plates were more then enough,unnfortunally only 2 pictures because the other foods we had already eaten!! The bread was made at the time, so...

Not recommend, the food wasn't very good or very fresh and also the way they speak and treat customers very bad , disappointed for the all the experience not going to go again there, do not lose your time you can find better Portuguese restaurants...

£60 worth of food. Unbelievable. My heart is bleeding. Soggy chips, old rice calamari was soggy. Everything was just bad. You guys use to do better.

First time To Mar Terra , and I can just say sea food here is exceptional everything in fresh and the portions are really good for the price ! I will not hesitate to come and try this amazing test of Portugal cuisine!

This is the only restaurant near me that I've been to over and over again. The food has always tasted great and its good value for the portion size and quality of the food

We went as a couple- could not fault food as excellent however service was poor to awful. Very slow to take order, had empty glasses . Waited over an hour to order dessert that was served with a dirty spoon with old food still attached....

I been few times already food is amazing, no have no words to describe. Place is beautiful, friendly staff and the food is delicious and beautiful too. I'll back 100%

Huge portions, amazing food but lack of ambience on a Thursday night. Hopefully will go back on a busier night and enjoy this lovely restaurant to the max.
