Pablo is really friendly, he gave us some "leche frita" - the best I have ever tried, and "fish" to try before we ordered. He took the time to explain us how he fried the chips - that were fabulous with the garlic mayonnaise or alioli. The food was delicious, locally sourced and tasted like authentic Spanish food. The tortilla con chorizo was fantastic, and a big portion too, and the croquetas were big and really tasty. With a lunch box I had enough for lunch and dinner. I will definitely be back and I have been recommending the place to all my Spanish friends. A real hidden gem!!

We chose Manda Huevos to cater our wedding, and it was truly the best decision! They provided a fantastic array of Spanish food in smaller portions served as canapés, including croquetas, empanada, and tortilla. As a Spaniard, along with 40 other Spanish guests, we were all blown away by the authentic flavor and top-quality of the dishes. Even our 60+ Scottish guests, were impressed and were asking where to get it from. Pablo, the owner, was incredibly lovely and so easy to work with, making the whole process seamless. Highly recommend Manda Huevos for any event!

This Tapas 'takeway' is really worth finding. It's a bit "off piste" but near to Edinburgh, Roslin and places south of the city. I had some tortilla and potato croquettes for my lunch - delicious - and friendly service.

We have collected from Pablo at Manda Huevos 5-6 times in the last year or so when visiting our daughter in nearby Bilston. Great service and the food is excellent. The home made crisps are very good.

Excellent service and even better food. The tortillas and croquettes were amazing. The hand cut crisps are a must try. Definitely worth a visit and really handy for Rosslyn Chapel, just a few minutes away.

Manda Huevos is always such a hit with our office! We are so lucky to have them close by. Today they put together two DELICIOUS, massive platters with very short notice. Thank you for making our event happen!

Went for lunch here after it had been recommend by people to my wife, have to say we were delighted. Upon arriving Pablo was extremely nice and welcoming, nicest welcome to a place we have had in a long time. The food itself was excellent, as it’s tapas we got quite a few different items from the menu, I found it hard to decide what the best was as they were all exceptional. We will 100% return here again and will recommend it to people we know. They also do catering for events so we are going to look into this for our daughters baptism later this year.

Tastiest Tapas in Midlothian! My favourite things are dirty croquetas and goats cheese/caramelised onion or haggis and spicy chorizo tortillas. Tuna empadillas and homemade crisps also amazing...maybe with some fresh garlicky salsa? If it's your first visit I'd recommend a box deal with some Basque cheesecake and a cappuccino to get a good mixture of everything.

Great service and amazing food, freshly made using local ingredients. Everything was delicious but l especially loved the pies and the Spanish omelette. Would recommend.

Wow how have I missed this place until now. Had a Site about 10 mins walkaway which I've been to for 3 years and its just completed. Anyway great food; good prices; wee tasters and a fantastic owner from Vigo. Will be back Monday

Wow! What a wonderful place, a real hidden gem and worth a trip for. I have seen signs for Manda Huevos but not visited before and regret waiting. Pablo was very friendly and helpful with making choices. The food was outstanding and fresh - the Crisps and Tortillas especially were perfect.

What a find! This little gem is amazing! Pablo is so lovely! We ordered some of the delicious Empanadillas(Galician pies), 6 mixed Croquettes, handmade chips, Spanish omelette and the basque burnt cheeecake - ALL of it was delicious! We will definitely be back soon! Mucho Gracias Pablo!

This is my favourite place to go for Tapas! Super friendly people and amazing food, just 2 mins from my house! The Galician pies and baked Cheesecake are a must. We've been there for lunch and dinner on many occasions and I really can't recommend Nanda Huevos enough.

Pablo was very kind and let us sample some of his food while we chatted. We loved the kimchi croquettes and the cheesecake especially! We would definitely recommend it for a great lunch in Midlothian.

Tried out Manda Huevos for their Saturday brunch and we were very impressed! Didn’t know what to expect but the food was excellent and authentic Spanish food. We picked up takeaway and the customer service was excellent. Would highly recommend a visit!

I was visiting Edinburgh on a work trip today and googled best place for lunch. Manda Huevos was the first place that popped up. I didn’t carry on looking at the other suggestions as I thought Spanish tapas is my favourite, let’s give it a try. Greeted by Pablo who was so friendly, informative and even gave me a couple of samples before I committed to ordering. I went for a bag deal which was a chorizo tortilla on bread, homemade crisps served with a garlic dip and salsa. It was so authentic and delicious. Also a baked cheesecake was amazing, I was quite full so saved this for my afternoon cup of tea when I got back to the office. Pablo was such a people person too as well as serving amazing food his interaction with his customers was fantastic, he started to get a lunch rush when I was there and recognised his regulars addressing them by name. It’s the little personal touches that make this a great place and I can’t wait to go back next time I’m visiting.

Delicious freshly made tortilla & crisps handmade from local potatoes. Super friendly service from Pablo through a hole-in-the-wall hatch. Location quite difficult to find but certainly worth it. Now we know where it is we'll certainly be back.

My wife and I were so excited for this and Pablo didn't disappoint. We got the Friday night tapas takeaway: cachopo, empanadillas and the leche frita for dessert. We last had cachopo on my wife's year abroad in Asturias, northern Spain. Manda Huevos took us right back there! Fresh beef fillets, not greasy, lovely breadcrumb. The homemade salsa sauce was very tasty too. The empanadillas pastry was light and all had a generous filling. All three of them (tuna, meat, veggie) were excellent. It was a first experience of leche frita and they tasted great! Fried until golden and paired well with the cinnamon. Pablo was super friendly on the phone and when we collected. Will definitely order again!

Manda Huevos is by far, without a doubt, *the* best take-away eatery within a 10 mile radius. The local, fresh ingredients truly make the difference, and anything you'll pick from the menu is guaranteed to be great. Pablo and his partner are both incredibly passionate...

Very tasty authentic Spanish tortillas made with fresh local ingredients. Plus very nice home made crisps. And nearly always get a free sample of another menu option while you wait. The friendly banter is also free.
