Honestly my favourite spot in Abersoch, great, tasty, affordable food with an outside and indoor eating area. Staff are some of the friendliest you can find and the margaritas are to die for. Big thanks you to Michael as well for always cooking a delicious meal for us!

The quality of the food was good but very expensive for what you get - £31 for beef fajitas is a bit steep when you are still hungry afterwards - Starters were expensive and tiny aswell.

We were really looking forward to having a takeaway from this place. Menu looked great. However, the portions are tiny and the food is pretty bland and unseasoned. The burritos promised lots but were really small, with chewy beef which was tasteless. Tiny box of lukewarm fries, and very average chilli chicken with the smallest rice side, means we won’t be back.

Fantastic venue ! Dog friendly. Food was amazing and so was the service from start to finish we can’t wait to visit Manana again very soon. Would definitely recommend

We went to the takeout lunch spot. We are a vegetarian family and the food was great! We had burritos, vegetarian loaded fried and vegetarian loaded nachos. The portions were large and so nice! The drinks were reasonably priced and the outdoor seating area was lovely

Excellent Mexican restaurant with very tasty food. It is very popular with bookings only taken for the same evening. Despite being very busy the service was excellent and the staff were very pleasant. It is dog friendly which was a bonus. Outside is also a kiosk selling Mexican street food and that is also of good quality.

Brilliant evening - we ate here as a family with a toddler (1y) on a busy Friday night. The staff were all friendly and attentive - special mention to Lee who was just a lovely warm personality and really made our dinner enjoyable, especially for the little one. Food was genuinely delicious and tasty and portion sizes were great. Would recommend to anyone looking for tasty food and a friendly atmosphere.

Stopped off here for a bit of lunch and I had loaded fries which were amazing. I recommend the chilli chicken ones. The rest of the menu looked good too. The portion sizes are large so make sure you’re hungry!

What a great little find! We drove past this when arriving in Abersoch on Friday so we thought we would try the food over the weekend. As it was lovely weather sat outside. Very friendly staff from the off, we ordered burritos, fries and nacho's to share and it was absolutely delicious and enough for the both of us. Good vibes and worth a visit! Thankyou, we will definitely be back to try more food from your establishment!. Your waitress (sorry we didn't get her name, long curly blonde hair who own's horses) she is an asset to your restaurant, what a lovely, friendly young lady!

We have been coming to Mañana for over 10 years, and it never disappoints! We came on Saturday 18th as a couple. We found the food as delicious as always. The service was excellent. Leigh and all the team are always really friendly, polite and efficient and we can highly recommend.

The food as always was delicious. We had a very warm welcome from the the manager and the staff are long standing and very friendly and attentive. We’ve visited most years (except for lockdown) and always had a great meal topped off with a tequila shot.

Delicious food. Lots of choice. Very friendly staff. Would definitely visit again. We ate outside on the benches for lunch had nachos, loaded fried(a bit soggy but delicious toppings), burger and chilli. All really tasty! The only criticism was that there was a lot of unnecessary plastic. We had plastic cups for water and plastic lids on our food which wasn’t necessary as we were eating it straight away. Otherwise brilliant!

Ordered food on Saturday and told a 4in wait for collection that was fine we said we would be back in 30mins and wait. Collected our food got home and a number of dishes were missing. It was so disappointing as our child’s food was missing and our meals weren’t complete. We called for ages as we would have collected the rest of our food, but no one answered. I then messaged on the Facebook page which has been ignored. So still out of pocket for our missing food!

We tried to get in on our first night, but too busy. on last night thought we would give it one more go. so glad we did fantastic meal. Dog friendly and great service, staff were so friendly. Owner walked around chatting to everyone. If we lived local we would come all the time. Food tasted great, fresh and full of flavour. I visited with my friend and daughter. The staff were friendly and accommodating. There was a great atmosphere. Our food was all tasty but the nanchos were the best ever!!! I’ve been dreaming of them and can’t wait to return!!

Excellent food as always. We’ve been a few times now when staying in the village. We had pork burrito, nachos and fries between 3 of us with wine, beer and coke which came to £52 from the street food bar outside. We felt it was a tad expensive, prices similar to what I would expect for table service inside, not for sitting on a bench and plastic cups outside. There’s plenty of choice for eating out in Abersoch and surround areas and we’ve never been let down by the quality or service here.

Really busy, but service was top notch. Food was delicious. We had tacos, fajitas nachos ribs, ( not in that order!😂) Couple of margaritas to wash it all down. Happy people all round.

Amazing food - we ordered Pulled pork burrito - quite spicy but not overpowering, would have been improved with guacamole inside the burrito, came with rice and salad inside Chilli nachos - these came with plenty of guacamole, jalapeños, cheese and sour cream on top - delicious! Chicken quesadilla - these were bland if I’m honest but had lots of cheese/chicken inside Good value for money and portions were decent. Only real issue was there was lots of shortages in the menu I.e no pulled beef/baguettes/ham ect which limited choices

Visited here with my partner whilst staying in north wales. Read loads of reviews on here and given its great rating we were really excited for the food and drove about 30mins to get here. The staff were lovely and very quick with bringing out our drinks. I had the beef tacos and my partner had the chili enchiladas. Food was served super quick but we were underwhelmed by our meals. Mine looked fantastic when it was bought to the table but it was lacking in flavour. The only spice was from the couple of sliced chillis on the top of the meat, other than that it was just like eating lettuce, tomato and beef in a wrap. It also didn’t come with any sides so we then had to spent an additional £4 or so to have some fries on the side. Turned out to to be an expensive meal that was lacking in flavour and left us both feeling underwhelmed by the experience.

Fabulous!! Great food, friendly staff and a house wine that was superb. Recommend the Tuna dish served with avocado a personal favourite.

Late lunch snack today as we are heading home. Thought we would stop by the outside part of Manana and what a lovely surprise. Great place with heaters full menu plenty to choose from just prefect. We had a chicken burrito and a chicken cheese quesadilla which were both great thank you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Manana. The food was great and the staff were friendly too. Definitely recommend eating here!

I’m a bit late leaving this review since we ate at the Manana in May, Was staying in Abersoch for a couple of days for my birthday with my family, grand kids and friends, we headed into town and stumbled into the Mañana Restaurant without a reservation. The food was excellent, to top it off, the owner of the restaurant came over to our table and shared a shot of Tequila with me, making it a truly memorable experience. All in all a really nice place with friendly staff, I have no problem recommending the Manana to anyone looking for nice food and a warm atmosphere

Currently during covid times they are doing two set time seating's. We went for a 7.45 table but arrived about 15 minutes early. Still warmly welcomed by the staff who were very friendly and helpful throughout. Amazing margaritas especially the passion fruit one which I would highly recommend. Husband had the pulled pork tacos which looked good and I had the tuna which was awesome. Son also had sticky toffee pudding which was apparently the best he had ever had. Reasonable cost. would definitely visit again if in the area.

Absolutely love this place pre Covid but the take away was a huge disappointment. The burrito was tiny and the frozen margaritas weren’t worth £16 for 2.

Heard such good reviews about this restaurant, just a shame about the telephone service! Arrogant and Rude to be honest! Phoned up to book a table for us to give it a try when visiting Wales in a few week, to be told they require a Facebook Msg to book. Sent this a few weeks ago, along with a follow up message, still no reply. So called this evening to enquire to which I received the response in a rude tone...’well generally when you don’t receive a reply means there’s no availability’... how is that good service!!

We managed to book for a 5.30 table and we were looking forward to the visit and we were not disappointed. Food, staff drinks value for money all excellent.

I haven't visited for many years and although Manana couldn't accommodate us in their restaurant they offered a fantastic takeaway service. They went out of their way to create a vegetable burrito that wasn't on the menu for my other half. Alcoholic drinks were also provided in takeaway containers. Their Mojito was rather tasty and it's a shame we didn't buy double! See you next season.

Great takeaway eaten on the picnic tables. 5 of us had a meal each and a mixture of beer and margaritas for just under £100. Not cheap but good quality delicious food served very promptly. Would definitely recommend.

I got a takeaway nachos and veggie chilli. It was very tasty and there was lots of food, although I did feel that for £10 it could have had a bit more dips and less cheese. My other half had fish and chips from Creel for the same price and I felt I had made the better choice!

3.5 rating. Food okay but some dishes very expensive. The takeaway ‘street food’ is a good concept. You don’t have to book in advance and that was great. The burrito was good but the side dishes of dips and beans were a joke! A TINY spoonful of guacamole in a tiny pot for 2.50 and a similar TINY spoonful of refried beans for 2.00! These were a total rip off. Margaritas were very good and we enjoyed eating the food on the benches outside the restaurant.

We visited Mananas last week for an anniversary celebration with the family. Leigh and the team went out of the way to make the evening one to remember with great service, fabulous food (including chilli to suit a very happy vegan daughter) and the finest margaritas and tequila shots! Thank you so much. We will return!

Very poor quality food. We visited Manana yesterday and got take out because no tables were available for the rest of the month due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We ordered two cheeseburgers and fries and paid about £25. The quality of the food was incredibly poor- very similar to what I’d expect from a cheap roadside cafe or late night burger joint. I’d expect to pay no more than £10 for this food in such a place but here in tourist central Abersoch it’s easy to profiteer of the back of the pandemic and sell rubbish at a huge mark up. Very poor.

Last night we had our first ever takeaway from Manana - was an absolute delight collecting it and having a beer - great banter and service and the food was awesome and still very warm when we got home. Well done team Manana. 👏🏻

Visited twice over the last week. Excellent food, excellent staff, excellent passion fruit margaritas. Just excellent 😍

It was our first visit here and we loved it! I booked the week or so prior and we got a 5.30pm sitting. The guy running the place was a great host from the moment we arrived, put us at ease and added to a great overall experience. They kindly let my step-son order something off menu which was appreciated and my other half loved the Surf & Turf. Big thumbs up from us, wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Couldn’t eat in as fully booked for whole of August due to reduced numbers as a result of Covid-19 so had to make do with a take away.Swift ordering and preparation of the food with friendly staff. Food came well packaged and secure and didn’t drip or leak during drive home.We had Naco’s, chilli chicken, pulled pork burrito and a chicken burrito, all of which was delicious and completely finished. Have heard that the atmosphere in the restaurant is very good so disappointed not to be to experience but can highly recommend the food.

We just can’t find fault with this place! Even when just out of lockdown when organisations have had to have a rethink around how to run their business Manana stands head and shoulders above the rest. Food was excellent as ever & service friendly and attentive. 5⭐️

We came last night after arriving in Abersoch. Not a huge queue and we were served fast however the quality of what we received was ridiculously poor for what we paid. £8 for a cheese burger (no sides) that was no better than what you get from a kebab shop. No salad/sauce. Literally a frozen burger with a piece of cheese on top. Paid £3.50 for fries that were cold and barely filled the box they were given to us in. Chicken burrito was fine but not worth £9 on its own. We ate it cos we’d been travelling and were hungry but we were very disappointed and won’t be returning again.

Since the village opened back up, they have been offering a takeaway service. Food is ready in 5 minutes and it’s delicious. Will be here a lot over summer and highly recommend.

I used the take-away service during partial lockdown and it was brilliant. I phoned the order in and requested it to be ready at a particular time and it was spot on. I paid at the first window and picked up at the second. So efficient.The food was fantastic. Mexican can be a bit hit or miss depending on your chilli tolerance level but this did not disappoint and had just the right level of kick with an abundance of flavour. I can absolutely recommend the chargrilled chicken burrito.

Manana’s is clearly a bit of an Abersoch institution, having a quirky ‘on-the day’ booking system which favours those who know the ropes. Having said that every time we passed it was packed with lots if happy-looking people. Provides the sort of Central American experience that customers, of all ages, want at a reasonable price and in a very casual environment.

Great place for mexican style food or even just a drink.Went with family and all enjoyed our food ,Not a fancy restaurant but good value food and drink.Tom in the kitchen went to great lengths to meet my own food request.

Great little place that doesn’t take bookings. Owner and staff very friendly , service efficient and the food is fresh and tasty . It’s always busy when the kids are off school so be prepared to queue or be disappointed .. I think they do 2 sittings . Would recommend , particularly family friendly.

Went last night and almost first in , met with a warm welcome and seated and drinks quickly ! Food menu not massive but all the usual suspects ! Chicken Enchilada , fish tacos and kids chilli all good size , and nice but kids pizza looked like Chicago town microwave pizza and a few chips ? Get it’s only 6 quid but sticking an olive on didn’t make it much better ?

We went to Manana in Aborsoch North WalesOn Saturday 12th October 2019 and as usual we had a great time. The Atmosphere in the restaurant is absolutely lovely. The owner always greet you and chats to you at your table. He makes time to make sure you’re having a good evening but not to much as to interrupt your evening. The food is always delicious, my wife and I had fish Chili which both of us really enjoyed my son and father had fajitas which they loved and my mum and daughter had tacos which again were absolutely delicious. The Mexican theme within the restaurant is perfect to complete the food. A very most if you’re around Abersoch and can get in, the only downside of mañana is you can’t book you have to queue up from 6 o’clock in the evening to try and get a table. Having said this it is very worthwhile to stand in the queue and get the table.

Open upto 7 days per week in the High Season, great choice of food menus, drinks and will take tables from 2 upto 12 persons. High chairs available for infants, and young childfren welcome, and complimentary colouring papers are available for their entertainment. Convenient for the High St shops as well

I visited this place almost 20 years ago and in contrast, on this occasion it was disappointing. As a group of three, we were first of all surprised at the lack of effort put into the decor - mainly plain painted orange walls. If you are used to eating out then I guess you have higher expectations. I had a large bowl of lamb chili which was good but the plain rice side and 4 crisps was uninspiring. For £14 you would have expected more extra's. We also felt the service from one of the staff was on the 'rough' side. So the overall impression is - overrated.

Used to come to Abersoch all the time but this was the 1st time for a while and it was good to see this restaurant still going strong. The meal was delicious and good service and even towards late September when the village is quieter, this restaurant is always busy!

Busy restaurant, which is always a good sign. Enormous chicken nachos sharer starter, very tasty with plenty of cheese. Tasty enchiladas for main. Good cooking.

Always looks busy from the outside- always a good sign so thought we'd give it a go, glad we did. Food was lovely served in good time, fresh and tasty. They do an amazing non-alcoholic cocktail. And was nice to see a variety of drinks not just your usual concentrated fruit offerings.

This restaurant must be the most popular Mexican restaurant I have ever come across and with good reason as it is also the best! They don't accept advanced bookings and it is highly unlikely you will get in if you turn up on the off chance. You need to turn up when they open and queue to make a booking for that evening!

Came here with a large group of friends and babies. The restaurant was very welcoming of the babies helping warm bottles, providing highchairs and bringing out kids meals promptly. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful with menu choices. We shared a variety of starters which were all to die for and the mains didn’t disappoint either. There wasn’t a scrap left on anybody’s plate. We’ll 100% be returning!! Thank you Manyana!!

Came for an evening meal with my lady and found the food to be great, the staff and service spot on and all in all a great restaurant

Really friendly staff here, especially the two ladies serving who gave us some really helpful information about the area whilst rushing around serving. The food was fabulous too. Will visit again on this holiday!

We were lucky to get a table! We didn’t know but if you get there at 5:30pm you can book for later on. We managed to get a cancellation and the staff were very accommodating. Good table on the left hand side as you go on so it wasn’t in the main bustle which was fab for us. Orders taken promptly and drinks arrived quickly after ordering. A lot of spicy food as it is a Mexican menu so to be expected. There is a burger that isn’t spicy and also salads. We had nachos to share and squid starter. They were gone in a flash. Really tasty. For mains we had enchiladas which were delicious and perfectly cooked, a couple of burgers (served on brioche rolls), quesidallas as a main and a tuna steak salad. The tuna was cooked to absolute perfection, it was a 10/10. Staff were really on the ball when it came to keeping drinks topped up, clearing plates and getting the bill. Would definitely recommend. We were in at 6 and out by 8pm for a group of 5. Good value for money too.

This restaurant doesn't take booking and people queue up to get in when it opens. As someone who doesn't like food heavily flavoured with chillis this was not my choice, but I did find something on the menu to suit . There were veggie and vegan options. I opted for the squid and butter bean salad as the least likely to be loaded with chilis and it was a good choice; the squid was cooked to perfection, not at all chewy or rubbery. The chilis were obvious after the first bite and I was able to move them aside and thoroughly enjoy the rest of the meal. I could have done with some bread or similar to bulk it out though as it was quite a small portion. We were a large group (10) and ordered a couple of servings of nachos to start. There was plenty to go around and I was able to avoid the spicy sauce and enjoyed them. It was rather a crush in there and very noisy, but service was good. There was a serious mixup with the bill when they omitted the drinks we had had and it took quite a while to get it sorted, having waited a long time to get said bill in the first place. There was no acknowledgemnet of our honesty in pointing out their mistake. By the time we got out of there we were all a bit fed up, which was a shame as we enjoyed the food.

Mañanas is a ‘must’ every time we go to Abersoch. Always busy but the staff try their hardest to fit us in. Great selection of Mexican foods and we love their cocktails.

This is a firm favourite in abersoch. I always enjoy the food just wish a few more ales but at the end of the day it's a mexican food place. Keep up the good work your doing something right by the shear volume of customers. Off my experience will visit again as food and service was a1 just wish more drinks on tap to cater for more local people eating out offen but that's me nip picking.

Queue outside from just before 5.30 to secure a table. We were a party from 2 yr old to 60 yr old. Everyone enjoyed their meals - fajitas - burgers - kids meals all were healthy portions and we'll put together. Staff are lovely.

Warm welcome. Overpriced food , nothing special really! £77.00 (soft drinks only, no alcoholic drinks) for 3 people for what is average food. Really don't understand the fuss about this restaurant?

I have been visiting Manana since it opened. The owner and staff are lovely. Sadly though the quality and portion size of the food has gone downhill. My visit won't put me off returning but I hope the owner takes my review on board.

We walked in as two family’s without a reservation and the staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We were seated at a table as the place was full to wait for a table to free up. This only took 20 minutes and was seated. Drinks were good and served swiftly. Whilst the food was pleasant, was a bit overpriced for the outcome. The tables were a bit small but overall a nice night out. Wouldn’t rush back but not a place to avoid.

We visited on a Saturday night and managed to get seated in the 6 o clock slot. Served quickly, food nice but had better. Drinks were pricey and glasses for gin n tonic we’re chunky cheap glasses but premium prices. Pint of lager £5, cocktail £8. Little details like glasses would make for a better experience.

You’ve got to love this place, constantly busy with a vibrant “hum” about the place. It’s interesting how the various eateries cater for their patrons and visa versa. If you’re after a buoyant atmosphere where families, couples or parties merge into one cacophony of fun, Manana is the place for you. Enjoy, everyone does.

Tonight was the best meal we've had at Manana. It's always fun and friendly as Leigh and the team are always great but tonight the food was really good. Don't get me wrong it's always good. Defo recommend.

I have just spent a week in Abersoch with my family, extended family and friends on a belated 70th birthday celebration for my eldest brother. A great week away and some excellent food including this last meal at Manana.

I was brought here for my birthday by husband and 2 kids. Was not expecting to queue to get in but we were lucky and managed to get the last table when it opened at 5:30. Despite having people queuing behind us we did not feel that we were rushed at all and we probably spent about 90 minutes there. Service was reasonably quick but relaxed with a casual feel. My pulled pork chilli was very good (not very spicy, but tasty) and my husband was very impressed with each of his courses. Kid’s menu was ok with a couple of Mexican options as well as the usual generic kid’s offerings.

No booking policy, queues to put our name down on a table later after the first flow of 6.00pm diners - very disappointing. Food was mediocre at best. Not really worth the wait

We called here this evening on the off chance we could eat before our journey home. The staff were very accommodating and managed to seat us without much of a wait. The food was so tasty and the menu had a great twist on your traditional Mexican food. We thoroughly enjoyed all of our food, our cocktails and the service. This place is definitely worth a visit for something a little different!

Went to Manana to celebrate my sons birthday ! Amazing food, fantastically attentive staff and a wonderful atmosphere ! Really family friendly... a great vibe ! A must visit if you are In abersoch ! You can’t book on the phone .../ so make sure you get there for 6pm l to book early i person xx well worth the effort!

Family of four visit with a 4 year old and 20 month old. The welcome was like walking into an old friends home, warm and inviting. Chicken fajitas was perfect and plentiful, King Prawn fajitas was also very nice and flavoursome. The children’s menu had food for all children, including fajitas but also traditional kids foods. Great atmosphere, reasonable priced. See you soon!

Last night my husband and I visited Mananas and had another enjoyable experience. We normally visit with friends but tonight it was just the two of us. The food and atmosphere was superb. The staff certainly make this place with a special mention to Jane who was so friendly and welcoming and Kerry who also very welcoming given we’d just walked in on a busy night but managed to squeeze us in.

Came here for a night out with friends while visiting Abersoch. The owner Leigh couldn’t be a better host, super friendly and accommodating.

After seeing the queues for a table I figured the food must be epic but to be honest it was pretty standard... staff are great, service was quick, Patron went down a treat, however, the rice was bland and tacos just okay!

So cool!! The food is amazing and really well cooked! Definitely recomed it for tourists! The fajitas are delicious!

Ten of us (3 generations) ate at Manana on Saturday night to celebrate my wife’s 50th whilst staying in Abersoch. We had a great night and would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone staying in the area. Great food, great service and a really friendly, fun atmosphere. We all thought the food was excellent and reasonably priced, plenty to choose from all really tasty. We will definitely be back - Thanks for making it a special night!

Came here for An evening meal, staff really nice, prompt service. Can’t say it’s the most authentic Mexican restaurant I have been to, but it was nice all the same. We had prawn gambas for starter which was nice, but rather overpriced for what you got. I had the squid and butter bean salad which really was delicious and good value for money. We were sitting to the left of the bar which seemed less crowded and plenty of space. Would recommend.

Busy place tables very close together, something that could be altered to make it a nicer restaurant as they seem to have plenty of bar space.

We had dinner here last Thursday. The restaurant was busy but we soon got a table and were served quickly. The starters soon arrived. My toasted tortilla and crab salad was very tasty though a small portion and not worth £7.95. My wife’s corn chips and salsa was better value at £4. My grilled tuna steak and salad was delicious, the fish being cooked to perfection, and reasonable value at £11.95. Desserts (banoffi pie and keylime pie) were both excellent, though on the small side. A bottle of nice house wine was expensive @ £18.50 and a pint of Spanish beer exorbitant @ £5!
