Mackies19.2 in Aberdeen City

What a wonderful place, staff are so friendly and the deserts you are spoilt for choice. The ice creams looked incredible and tasted even better.

Ordered two of the three scoop ice-creams with toppings. Excited to see dairy-free ice-cream options in their menu as opposed to boring sorbet. The dairy free delights were vanilla, honeycomb and salted caramel, best of all I could not detect a soya or coconut aftertaste just a delicious taste of creaminess and authentic flavours. I selected vegan lotus biscuits and banana for toppings. Price wise reasonable for the amount of ice-cream you get!

This little gem is one to remember, the ladies who served me was super friendly and they certainly know there ice creams. I can’t wait to go back and taste more of the menu.

Got mackies delivered from deliveroo for dessert with my girlfriend and was very very disappointed when we found a finger nail and a long hair in each of our orders i ordered the pancakes with bacon and maple syrup and she got a crepe we phone the staff and the girl was understanding on the phone but I would not recommend this to anyone had to throw our order out as it put as right off our food for £27 I would not recommend to a single person was a horrible experience!!

I was initially intrigued as to the significance of the 19.2! We had the cookie cakes, one cookies and cream and one biscoff with caramel cookie crunch ice cream. Simply divine. Portions were very generous too. I’ll return next time I’m in the city for sure.

You wont regret getting the biscoff or banoffee ice creams, both are outstanding! Good size scoops for the money too !

First Visit Aberdeen restaurant week Lunch 26th January 2023 Great first visit after lunch at Pig’s Wings we were quite full so we shared a four seasons whole waffle, each quarter had different toppings. Fresh strawberries and white chocolate curls. Banana and chocolate sprinkles. Honeycomb pieces and little caramel cubes. Marshmallows and sprinkles. Fresh whipped cream and ice cream in the middle and topped with hot chocolate sauce with a wafer. Delicious ! The service was great and friendly ! It was so good we said we would be back before the week was out and we were ! Evening 27th January 2023 We visited again after Kin Kao, for dessert. Took advantage of Aberdeen restaurant week ! The strawberry delight, strawberry ice cream, fresh strawberries and white chocolate curls, strawberry sauce over full waffle quartered with whipped cream and wafer. Delicious ! The caramel cookie crunch, caramel cookie crunch ice cream with handmade honeycomb pieces, Biscoff and lotus biscuit over full waffle quartered with whipped cream and wafer. Delicious ! We had a hot chocolate and a cappuccino both excellent ! Our son had a milkshake, with two scoops of any ice cream. He chose eton mess and mint, said it was very nice. Afternoon 3rd February 2023 We returned again for our dessert fix. Maple madness, white chocolate swirl ice cream with banana, toffee sauce, caramel cubes and maple syrup over full waffle quartered with whipped cream and wafer. Delicious ! The strawberry delight, this time on a whole crepe, it was still warm! Delicious ! So many delicious ice cream flavours ! Cones, floats, milkshakes, sundaes, cookie cakes and ice cream cakes to order ! You can get hot drinks and cold drinks even beer and wine. Toasties with Mackie’s crisps. Even a waffle with crispy bacon drizzled with maple syrup. A Mackie’s 19.2, because it’s 19.2 miles from the farm.

Had a great experience today at Mackies! I had a waffle and a latte, both delicious! Staff were lovely, service was very quick and food was good value.

As someone who LOVES ICE CREAM, I was amazed by the choice and quality! I am now a lover of waffles thanks to this place. Love the later opening times so I can pop for desert after my dinner @ home.

Came in today having not heard much about it! It is absolutely unreal- £7 for a HUGE waffle, scoop of ice cream + whipped cream. So quick and efficient too. Such a HUGE selection of options, staff are lovely. Can’t wait to return here on my next Aberdeen trip.
