I love going to Bev's! Food is always outstanding and the care Bev puts in is evident! My favourite place for small gatherings

Bev planned and delivered a range of fantastic food for a house party for 26 people. Her recommendations for food selection were perfect and her portion planning was absolutely spot on, but above all, the food was absolutely incredible, with the beef in red wine sauce being the highlight! Highly recommend Bev's Bistro to anyone planning an event of any kind.

We booked Bev’s Bistro for my friend’s baby shower and we couldn’t recommend it enough. They take great pride in making everything fresh and from scratch and it really shows. Everything is locally sourced and homemade. Our afternoon tea was delicious and Bev was very accommodating to our needs. Thank you very much and highly recommended.

I went yesterday to get a large mocha and a brownie £9.10 ridiculous . Im all for supporting local but not when it’s overpriced but the service was nice . Would not recommend going there to overpriced

Compact and bijou dining area, but huge plaudits for the food. Great venue for a simple cup of excellent coffee, and a fantastic choice of freshly prepared meals. Must make special mention of the amazing strawberry tarts, they are to die for 👍.

Fabulous Afternoon Tea. Delicious selection of savoury and sweet goodies, all freshly made. Presentation was lovely and service was excellent. BYOB which is a bonus, but a selection of teas and coffee was also available. Thoroughly recommend and will be back ☺️

Ok but small for the cost. Only allowed one cup of tea with an afternoon tea, despite it costing £50 for 2 people. Disappointing amount and didn’t live up to expectations

Booked Afternoon Tea on a recommendation and can’t fault it. Everything is made by Bev, even the amazing seeded bread used for the sandwiches. And the Strawberry Tart is about the best I’ve ever had. Booked for a Leaving Do and got the place to ourselves for 2 hours (over it, to be honest!) and had a great time. Loved it! Oh, Bev wraps the sandwiches in the cutest wee parcels, meaning they stay soft and fresh for the duration….and even when you get your doggy bag home!!

We booked Bev’s as a large group for an afternoon tea party. We had a wonderful time! The food was great with lovely service. On arrival the tables were set beautifully with decorations and our own plates of afternoon tea. The food was all fresh and no one could fault it. Would highly recommend!

Booked out Bev’s for my best friend’s hen do and couldn’t recommend it enough. Bev went above and beyond to accommodate us (a very large group) from dietary requirements to letting us come early to decorate the space. Not that it needed it - the tables were beautifully decorated and the afternoon tea platters looked and tasted amazing. Came here to celebrate a close friend’s henny. As soon as we arrived, I was taken back by the beauty of the decor and the presentation of the afternoon tea. The owner, Bev is very friendly and accommodating to dietary requirements, one of my friends couldn’t have cream but was provided a buttercream alternative with her tart. Bev is very informative and passionate about her food, telling us what local businesses supplied her ingredients. On the afternoon tea platter, there were a selection of four sandwiches ranging from ham, chicken mayo, Brie and cranberry and egg mayo. There was also a sausage roll and salad, followed by homemade sweet treats of choc orange brownie and strawberry tart. My table enjoyed their platters and felt very looked after by Bev as she constantly checked on us to make sure if we needed anything. Overall, everyone had an amazing time and would like to thank everyone at Bev’s for making my friend’s henny afternoon tea a memorable experience! Will definitely be returning.

This was booked for a private party. Having never been there before I didn't know what to expect. It was just like walking into a friend's home. The welcome was warm, the bistro was warm (on a cold May night). The food was delicious, I could have had seconds or thirds, but not because of small portions, but because it was so delicious. Bev asked which of the four sharing dishes was my favourite, but I couldn't choose, they were equally tasty and filling. I will very definitely be back.

Went here for works day out in March. Afternoon tea yummy but strange set up with no tea and coffee offered, when advertised as afternoon tea - have to pay extra which is poor considering we had paid a lot of money. Was not told this over the phone when booking or would have booked elsewhere. When asked owner for tea and coffee, she said cannot afford to offer this due to cost of living crisis. Food also cling filmed which I felt was not a good look at all. Very expensive per person for what you get, can get much better elsewhere. No option to play our own music either, which would create a better atmosphere inside the cafe. Won't be back.

My partner booked afternoon tea for 3 of us for mother days we turned up to bev’s and the door was locked and a function seemed to be happening, when my partner booked he paid a £45 deposit and confirmation email saying his the booking was accepted he then phoned the number given on the email when the women who answered said our booking had be cancelled and we should have received an email which we didnt, if there was a function the booking system should have been blocked off you would have thought, she then said our deposit will get refunded leaving us nowhere to go on Mother’s Day as everywhere was fully booked! Very disappointing and very bad customer service she didn’t have no compassion for the situation at all definitely don’t recommend relying on the booking system she didn’t sound like she even knew how her system worked. No impression and ruined Mother’s Day.

Had a private dining party at Bev's and it was lovely. The food was great and all tastes and dietary requirements catered for. Would recommend for sure!

There werer 9 of us and 3 kids for a private family lunch. We were given a choice of starters mains and sweets prior to going. The food was outstanding. Really well cooked from scratch and really tasty. This place knocks all other restaurants in Aberdeen into second place. Lucky for them, Bev's only does private functions for 10 - 25 people which have to be booked. I would have no hesitation in recomending this place, Really first class.

Had a lovely lunch with friends which was great as my food intolerances limit where we can go. Bev & Alan have an excellent understanding of food intolerances & adapt the food accordingly. Visited Bev’s Bistro for an afternoon tea to celebrate my mums birthday. This isn’t a place you can just walk in. It needs to be booked in advance as everything is made for your visit. They accommodated my fussy daughter and made her sandwiches from off the usual menu. When we got there everything was out and the table beautifully decorated. Didn’t know whether to frame it or eat it. Fantastic sandwiches, beautiful brownies and tasty savoury treats. As it was good quality food, it was very filling but we took the leftovers home with no issues. It was very pricey, however this reflects the attention to detail, care and quality of the food. Definitely recommend for an afternoon tea treat.

After searching for a new place to try afternoon tea we came across Bev’s on social media. After looking through all of the amazing photos we thought we must give it a try! Definitely the best afternoon tea we have ever been to. We were extremely impressed at how fresh & locally produced the food was… highly recommend!

Following recommendations on social media booked afternoon tea for 3 of us today. Was not disappointed. Probably the best and freshest sandwiches and cakes I have had. Bev and Alan were a delight explaining everything on the plates everything cooked, prepared and presented with passion and love. A place not to be missed

Went for afternoon tea. All of it was wrapped in clingfilm which was a bit odd. Food was really lovely and there were tons of it but service was a bit bizarre. Felt quite intrusive and at times, rude. Expensive

The food lived up to the reviews I read before booking. Bev was so gracious and kind when I embarrassingly realised I had only booked for five people. She quickly arranged two more platters, which is no mean feat as Bev makes everything from scratch. Thanks Bev for such a lovely afternoon lunch and for putting up with my scattyness!

Amazing food! Best selection and quality we have ever had in Aberdeen. Best strawberry tart I’ve ever tasted, and the brownies were to die for. Not only that, the cheese, the meats, the tarts, the breads, the chutney…. Each and every mouthful delicious. Presentation beautiful!

This was the worst afternoon tea ever. An afternoon tea usually comes with tea or coffee but not here, you are charged extra for it. It was overpriced, we had 3 small sandwiches one sausage roll one piece of chocolate brownie and one strawberry tart each costing us £24 each. Ordered an afternoon tea as a treat for mum's birthday. Ordered on 4th Jan for delivery 5th Jan not knowing if it was too short notice but it was fine. Delivered half an hour early, lovely fresh ingredients, super tasty and will definitely use again. Very impressed.

I was recently gifted a box of mixed flavour brownies from Bev’s Bistro. They arrived in the post beautifully presented, fresh, and looking delicious. I can honestly say they are the best brownies I’ve ever had! All the flavours were delicious - the chocolate orange brownie in particular was out of this world!

I attended Bev's yesterday and was very impressed. She has thought of everything in terms of Covid precautions, and was a very attentive and bubbly host. The food was top notch and it was a nice relaxed atmosphere. 10/10

We absolutely love Bev's bistro. Bev' and Alan are so lovely and they are flexible and able to provide delicious food for every occasion and they make it really special. The bistro is fabulous for coffee and snacks as well as the special evenings they organise. During lockdown they have served amazing afternoon tea and meals for carry out and if you want special meals Bev is happy to deliver to your own house if its near the city centre. At first we were going to have it at the bistro but along came lockdown 2 for Aberdeen so we held it at our garden. Bev was so flexible it amazed us. she quickly changed the menu to suit our plans for the garden, She still made all the food we required and done a total of 3 runs to garden to make sure all our food was hot and perfect for all of us. Our wedding cake was also done by Bev and by the next day we had no cake left as everyone was wanting 3rds and 4ths it was that good. we had for nibble: sausage rolls, strawberry soup, dipping bread and quiche. Starter, pizza crumpets and jacket potato soup main, chicken and beef with onion potatoes carrots and green peas desert, Bevs signature Freshly sourced Strawberry Tarts and stick toffee pudding with sticky toffee sauce and ice cream. While on a trip from Ireland wedding dress shopping with my sister we booked a table here for lunch. My daughter and I had Soup of the day with a sandwich, homemade cream of chicken soup, wow it was amazing my daughter who never tries anything different absolutely loved it. Compliments to the chief who even gave me the recipe to make it at home which I have done already 😊 Unfortunately for me the cakes are that amazing they had all sold out before we got there so now I'm looking forward to my sisters wedding to sample Bev's baking, no doubt on the next dress fitting trip we will be returning here for lunch.
