ABERDAM Dutch Fries - Aberdeen in Aberdeen City

Food is fine but way overpriced. Delivery to table in bar next door sounds great until you realise the website doesn’t work, give up and walk over to do it. I could forgive these but charging 1.50 for a few pence worth of mayo to dip your chips in is about as big a rip off as it gets.

Delivery time was not met, so I had to cancel and go elsewhere Email sent Can you please reply?

If you like your burgers or poutine, I'd highly recommend it, especially if you're just visiting Aberdeen, because unfortunately, there are no shops outside of Aberdeen as of now. A little on the pricey side, but definitely worth it. Atmosphere: To be noted, there is not really any atmosphere of Aberdam itself, but they do allow you to order your food to some of their neighbouring pubs (e.g Malones or The Ivy Lodge), both of which have an excellent atmosphere. Service: Friendly and helpful staff, will take your food to either of the pubs once it's ready, wait time can be a little long, but likely due to the large volume of online orders. Food: Most of these burger joints can only seem to either perfect their burgers or their sides, but Aberdam have managed to smash both. I religiously order their Bravheart fries, but my friends who order the burgers are never disappointed.

Order made - 17:20, Order received 19:21 - order is stone cold. Suspect order was made and not collected until later on.

Food was a bit too salty but overall good, however, it was quite expensive for what it was.

Really fantastic food from here. Freshly made to order and very generous portions. The service was really quick even though it was quite busy. The burgers were really tasty and the fries were crispy, salty and plentiful! Would highly recommend.

Ordered and was advised a time of 20:50 initially, but through the night, the time kept extending until finally getting foot at 22:22, food was good but order at least an hour in advance!

First time ordering and was not disappointed, food was amazing and still hot even for the delivery distance, would definitely order again in the near future

I can say for a fact I have had every burger in Aberdeen, this is the best burger place you can ever go to. I haven't had their loaded fries (but it's probably good too) but their dirty dirty pig is an absolute masterpiece.

I ordered the food at 18:33, the restaurant prepared the food but no delivery driver attended the order. I contacted and the restaurant prepared another order which I collected. So abysmal/not delivered by the courier sums it up, I would like the delivery charge refunded. It’s very poor that the restaurant has been let down by the Just Eat courier, they’ve made my food twice. I would also like to discuss this with a representative from Just Eat.

We ordered a £6 milkshake which said on the receipt to ask for a refund as there was none available. i never received a refund

came here yesterday for a bite, been having my eye on this place for a while as they looked delicious and for my couple days here I thought let me try The girl serving was lovely it was a bit slow yesterday but understood it was just her alone until the other worker came back. I’m very patient and very considerate when I see staff working alone because I understand it can be stressful when it’s just one person. I’m going to be very honest, I really thought that this shop served the fries in a cone I saw photos but I assume it’s maybe for the beach truck maybe? Anyways, I’m not sure if these fries were really Dutch, these fries reminded me a lot of the frozen mc Ian skin on fries, I mean I could be wrong. I found the 2 bits of fries I bought to be quite overpriced. However I must say the portion sizes were excellent.

food was cold when it arrived so had to reheat! from ordering food to having it delivered it took 2.5 hours!! another delivery service may be a better option. food itself was good but will definitely not be reordering again to avoid the same scenario

Fries with BBQ chicken are delicious. Ordering via the order terminals is not very personal but works. Location next to the pubs is good. Only limited opportunities to eat in or at the restaurant.

Burger was absolutely unreal one of the best I’ve have and I do love a burger. Fried were tasty however cold. Chicken tenders were average typical freezer food, sauces lovely however very pricy for such a small sauce portion. Would definitely have a burger again.

Inaccurate information about the delivery times that are actually applicable

You would think that at a Dutch chip shop you would come across something like croquettes, frikandellen or war fries or the like. But what a gigantic scam... the only Dutch thing in that case was the expensive price. It took a long time, there were some Dutch things hanging and bitterballen were sold, but no hair salon but fries with haggis. I thought 'Nice, Netherlands', but I was very disappointed. The fries were fine but not for £6.30

Food was lovely, but very funny process of picking up the food.. no one spoke to us when we entered the shop and we just stood for 10 mins. Then an order went on the side and a just eat driver went up and looked at the collection number wasn’t his so I did the same and this was my order. Then I took the order the lady looked at me and didn’t say anything and stated that this was my order and got no reply. This was really poor customer service! The food was amazing!!

Just had two burgers with fries delivered to my house in garthdee through delivered it was delivered quickly but the burgers and fries were stone cold and had to be blasted in microwave for around 45 secs the burgers were nice just wished they were not cold by time we got them

I can’t put into words how fulfilling and value for money it is.

£14 per portion for frozen food. The photos on deliveroo show what they used to have and it was brilliant...now you get a thin frozen chicken. I can't even tastes the chicken is that thin. this is the second time I ordered and came like this (regular customer before) Don't recommend and won't order again. Wish they kept the same quality as before as this is a joke.

Ordered a big dam but it was covered in salt and pepper seasoning so it was disgusting, when you’re spending £50 on a meal this shouldn’t happen!

Miserable staff and the fries are overrated and overly salted. Usually I’m all for supporting local businesses, but this place is style over substance. Way better options locally be it on school hill or down the beach. And they were offering a discount for reviews so take the high rating with a (large) pinch of salt. In response to your reply that I cannot reply to. Yes I have recently given another local Business a glowing review as they deserve it. Your service in store has been rude and dismissive we tried to order over the counter, when no one else was in the store and were told “use the screen” without the girl even looking up. Maybe consider not everyone is capable of using a touch screen and wants/ needs to order from a person.

The tikka chips were not edible covered in sauce and soggy. There was no sauce on the Carlos butter chicken loaded fries and the chicken was so dry it was hard to bite. We absolutely love Aberdam but this is the worst we’ve had to date unfortunately.

Ordered loaded fries - chicken tika (tasted like a jar of tikka sauce - no real flavour) - braveheart fries (bland and there was no gravy) The sides we got - chicken strips (no flavour) and the jalapeño poppers ( they were okay) We spend just under £40 and we are really gutted. From the decor we thought we would be in for some great food but honestly we are gutted with the quality and taste. We also had issues with getting a menu and the menu we were handed was very dirty. Again not a great experience and it was not that busy.
