On a freezing cold December afternoon we decided to drop into Ma Egerton's Pub, a pub we always look forward to visiting on any trip into Liverpool City Centre we take. A great looking pub, two roomed, a cool looking serving bar, pubby decor and furnishings, big screens to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside and on our visit beautifully decked out for the festive season. We had a study of their real ale's, in the end we both opted to have pale ale's from Moorhouse Brewery, these were served in pristine condition, we chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular pub. My pale ale was really good, well balanced, hints of toffee, hoppy but not overhopped, a delicious aroma and aftertaste with a slight bitter finish to it we both enjoy, all in all a wonderful pale ale indeed. We really enjoyed our pale ale's in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Ma Egerton's Pub is easy to locate along Pudsey Street behind The Empire Theatre. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, midday till 11pm. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Ma Egerton's on Pudsey street is a brilliant pub that offer an excellent range of drink's and was one of the many pub's me and my twin visited while walking around Liverpool city centre. This is a very historic pub that's been open since 1846 and has many excellent fixtures and features that relate to the theatre and the silver screen and there's many pictures throughout the whole pub's interior of stars from yesteryear. We visited here early in the afternoon on a freezing day and sat in the main bar where we had beers from the Moorhouse brewery which were superb and well priced. This is a brilliant pub thats well worth visiting and so easy to get to from Lime street train station it's only a minute's walk away.(This is my 4th review of Ma Egerton's Pub). Opening Hours. Monday-Sunday-12.00-23.00. Public Transport. Train Station. Lime Street Train Station.

A great week in Newcastle seeing all the sites and visiting the best pubs in that vibrant city then a close to 4 hour return journey on a roasting hot Saturday afternoon back to Liverpool Lime Street Railway Station and my twin brother Stephen and I were in need of a beer and we made a beeline to Ma Egerton's Pub. A wonderful looking building, two roomed ,pubby decor and furnishings, a cute looking serving bar, tv's to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside, a totally fab pub. We got here as the Liverpool v Chelsea match was about to begin, we got a beer each, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we luckily managed to get a table were we rested our weary bones and chilled out, watched the footy while sipping our beers which were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere in this pub was great, a good vibe ,it was just so good being in such a lovely pub enjoying a quality brew and watching an exciting football ⚽️ match sipping an iced cold beer 🍺. We really enjoyed our beers in here, in fact we had a further two each while the match was on then we moved on but as on every other visit to Ma Egerton's Pub we had a great time. Ma Egerton's Pub is easy to locate along Pudsey Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday, 11am till 11pm. Friday & Saturday, 11am till Midnight. Sunday, Midday till 11pm. A wonderful pub,one I highly recommend you visit if you're in the area.

Now that some more of the coronavirus lockdown restrictions have been lifted for the hard hit hospitality sector its just great to be out and about again enjoying visiting some of the great pubs our city is justifiably famous for, one of my favourites is Ma Egerton Pub ,a pub I always look forward to dropping into. This is a very cool pub, two roomed, wonderful decor and furnishings, photo's of star's of the theatre and silver screen adorn the walls, there's a cute looking serving bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Pudsey Street. We were here on a Thursday afternoon, we track and traced and we were allocated a table were we ordered a pale ale each, served in pristine condition, we just kicked back ,chilled out and took in the great pub we were in. My pale ale was really good, a crisp, well balanced, full bodied pale ale with a big hit of hops ,hints of toffee and a delicious aroma, a classic pale ale, very refreshing on a hot afternoon. We really enjoyed our pale ale's in here, only stayed for the one each before moving on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Ma Egerton's Pub is easy to locate on Pudsey Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Saturday, Open from 11am. Sunday, Open from Midday. A great pub, if your in the area most definitely well worth checking out.

Prime Minister Boris has laid down the roadmap out of the pandemic for the hard hit hospitality sector with pubs being allowed to reopen on the 12th of April with outside service only and from the 17th of May inside and outside service allowed and by June 21st more or less back to normality so I will be great once again to visit pubs such as Ma Egerton's Pub again, a pub I've been visiting for many years, a pub I've missed since the 3rd national lockdown descended. Love the look of this pub ,two roomed, a cute looking serving bar, lovely decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, as an added bonus its a famous pub ,many a star of stage and silver screen has enjoyed a drink or two in this pub ,hardly surprising really as it's situated behind Liverpool Empire Theatre. My last visit here was with my twin brother Stephen, track and trace in operation, hand sanitisers and table service, we enjoyed delicious pizza meals and pints of guinness in a covid safe environment, had a wonderful time ,stayed for a few hours ,I suspect this pub will reopen on the 17th of May but I hope it opens on the 12th of April but whenever it chooses to open I know I will be there.A great pub, well worth a visit if you're in the area and easy to locate along Pudsey Street.
