Absolutely disgusted with this place, such a shame as the food is good. Accepted our order then cancelled by lying and saying driver couldn’t find our house. The order was never prepared and cancelled because they are busy, a phone call would have been in order to let us know this. The person on the phone hung up on me when I complained

I ordered from this place somewhat a month ago because my usual place was closed, and I enjoyed the food throughly. I decided to order again and I’d like to say the food was nice. However I can’t because I didn’t get it. I ended up cancelling my order because we were waiting over 2 hours and the shop wouldn’t answer the phone, and when they did no one was talking, it was just weird sounds. If you’re looking for a refund from this place and you’re ordering through the “ALL EATS” app/website go through the customer service or assistant (green bubble with person wearing headphones). It took us a while to figure this out as most policies that we read on the website said to contact the restaurant… But that obviously wasn’t possible. Go somewhere else I beg of you. So sad that I didn’t get the experience I did a month ago.

The food here is usually really good but I ordered tonight via just eat and after waiting an hour for my food, they cancelled my order 😩 if you're too busy put your just eat tablet on pause rather than cancelling with no notice

Abismal service delivery driver told restaurant he called me even though he didn't have my phone number, then he told them he sat outside my address for fifteen minutes and although I was sat outside my house for twenty minutes I didn't see him at all, unless delivery drivers have suddenly started dropping off orders when they are invisible he lied, it's not as if it's a hard job requiring multiple PHD's, pick up order, drop off order, sit in car confused about what to do, make up multiple lies, I'm brilliant at my job, gold star

Beautiful food but awful customer service! We're regular customers but on 2 occasions now they've accepted our order and then cancelled just minutes later... there's the option not to accept in the first instance and it really messes the customers about! Just don't accept the order or mark yourselves as unavailable to take orders when you're busy, OR just ring and let us know it'll take longer than expected, build a relationship with your customers, we personally really wouldn't mind waiting because the food is delicious! Thank god we use Just Eat because after reading other reviews and seeing that they make a habit of this I wouldn't trust ordering from them directly!

Waited over an hour for delivery to then receive a message to say the driver couldn’t find our address(no phone call which was strange)! Called the shop which took about a minute for them to answer, to be told they cancelled because it was busy! Not because of any driver at all! Absolutely ridiculous to wait that long for it to be cancelled! Horrible service!

I ordered on Just eat, I recieved 2 text messages half hour apart from each other saying my order had been delayed so I cancelled it and was told a refund was on the way. I am still waiting for the refund 3 weeks later!

We have ordered from here via JustEat a few times now and are pleased to find that the food and service is consistently good, the ingredients are fresh, portions very generous, and delivery times fair. Therefore it is now our go to for our chinese take out night. We like the beef chow mein, chicken chow mein and the salt and pepper wings and chips. Keep up the good work!

Ordered on the uber eats app and i was charaged and the order was confirmed, after waiting over an hour we rang to chase the order up. After a while she stated our order had been cancelled and a refund was made. this is unacceptable. a phone call to say sooner would have been helpful. will not be ordering here again. Terrible experience ordering takeaway via Uber eats. Food was inedible and had to go in the bin. Uber eats refusing to give refund so I’m taking up a dispute with them.

We regularly used this Chinese for about a year and a half and the food is great but the last 5 times we’ve ordered they’ve forgot our drink. I know it’s just a drink but it’s beside the point, it’s paid for and it should be sent first time. We have called to tell them this and they did bring one to us afterwards but again inconvenient when you’ve sat down to eat and then the doorbell rings for a bottle of coke when you’re half way done. Sadly due to this happening so many times in a row we’ve decided to go elsewhere as we’d rather get our full order first time rather than chase them for it. Not sure what’s gone wrong as never used to have issues

Awful place. Do not waste your hard earned money here. First food arrived late. Then they served meat in a vegetarian meal and even when they saw it had meat they refused to refund or even replace. In the end had to get justeat to refund the money. So called manager "William" then called us liars then told us to scrape the meat off and eat the remainder and when we said no he told we were not strict vegetarians. Truly unbelievable bad service and attitude - the staff completely lack any respect or responsibility to their customers According to grubbee their food hygiene rating is 2 - tells you all you need to know about this awful place

Awful delivery service. A woman delivered my order and was very rude. I would stay away from this place. Food was lukewarm and staff and delivery drivers are very rude and lack in customer communication skills.

I would not even give this a one start the food has come out of the freezer you can tell just the way the curry is all lumped up together when I phoned them I told them to make sure the food was fresh and don't the way it use to be done they are so rude they came with my curry but no rice how is someone ment to eat a curry with out rice never again will I eat from here again this is to be one of the best places to eat from and now it gone down hill there was hair and a fly in my food I will be phoneing someone to get this place shut down dry has hell and I didn't not even put that much rice on the plate

Best chines i ever head and me and my friends use to spend 1k just on food for 5 people in top restaurants but this chines is top fresh food quality food tasty big portions (not sure why it got just 3 stars must be competition las day spend nearly 70£ and it was top quality!

Absolutely awful service and rude staff who put the phone down on us!! Ordered a takeaway which was originally an hour delivery!! This then became a two hour delivery so asked them if we could cancel as we couldn’t let out children wait that long, for them then to be extremely rude and put the phone down on us!!!! Long term customer (5+yrs) of this place, its the only Chinese we order /eat from Order regular, highly recommended, always great food & great prices, never had any late delivery or cold food!

Bloody lovely. Shop window needed a clean and phone at 2 months of dust on it. Would return because the food was faultless.

This has to b the worst waste of £50 plus I’ve ever spent. You must be joking. Your not a Chinese takeaway - your a disgrace to your nation. The food was absolute rubbish. The prawn crackers and the rice were ok. The rest? You should be ashamed - it was disgusting - I’m now watching my wife cook scrambled eggs on toast for my boys as the food has gone straight in the bin. Do us all a favour - don’t open tomorrow or ever again.

Ordered my food around 15/20 minutes ago to have found a hair rapped around my food. How revolting is that? I rung them to tell them about it to try and get a refund and all she kept saying was “my food is good I cooked it my self” and ended the phone on me multiple times. I would not recommend ordering from here, it’s absolutely disgusting.

I was actually going off of chinese takeaway till we tryed Lucky Star. Never dissapointed with all deliveries we have had from here, absolutely delicious, and deliveries are never too long dispite living nearly 3 miles away 😊

Tried a number of dishes from this place, all tasted about the same or rather all tasteless and no I didn't have covid at the time. Expensive for what you got too. Many many better takeaways to choose from.

A great takeaway and I particularly enjoy the salt and pepper chips with crispy shredded chicken. Be warned however if you don’t like spice this isn’t for you as it’s super spicy!

The Perfect Chinese. I'm not a lover of Chinese food much prefer Indian but have had a couple from here with my Chinese loving family while visiting. This is the best Chinese I've ever had the food was delivered very quickly and still hot we has 4 different dishes each one lovely and fresh . My choice the curry was completely different to the usual bland offering from my home town in Staffordshire. We will definitely be back next time we visit

Ordered food at 6.25pm. Not turned up by 8pm, called to find out where it was, they said already delivered, it had not been so they said they would send again. Delivery did turn up then half an hour later, delivery driver must have been annoyed as when leaving he slammed my gate so hard I could hear it with my door closed. Didn't deliver the whole order, left the prawn crackers out. I have ordered from here regularly as I like the food but this has left a sour feeling so I will be trying elsewhere. I got charged £2.50 for delivery and 40p service charge which is steep and another £2 for prawn crackers they didn't give me. Feel ripped off and let down. Although the food was good the cost and the hassle is not worth it.

Best Chinese food in Amber Valley.

I never normally leave reviews but I HAD to with this place simply to warn everyone away. Let me start with the fact that when I rang up to order it gave me an option to order online from their website and that if I did so I would recieve a 15% discount and I would be given priority delivery so of course I went for it. I then got sent a link from them to order from which would apparently give me both the priority delivery and the discount and ordered the food for it. Once I had ordered the food the estimated time for delivery was 45 minutes. An HOUR later I rang them again to check what was going on with my order and I got a rushed, rude and ill-mannered response from the man at the other end who told me my order was on it's way and then hung up on me. I then waited another HALF HOUR and was forced to ring again only to be greeted by a much more polite man who was very apologetic and had told me my food had apparently already been delivered! He then told me he'd sort it out and get a new order sent in 15 minutes. 25 minutes later I finally recieved my luke warm, soggy, bland food which definitely was not worth what ended up being over a 2 hour wait. I wasn't even offered a discount or a refund which is absolutely ridiculous. Overall appalled at the customer service, massively disappointed by the food and will NEVER EVER be ordering from here again and neither should you unless you want an experience like this.

This place offers a range of delicious and authentic Chinese food. Amazing, the best chines I ever had. I totally recommend for anyone in Leeds. The delivery was so early, the food was cooked to perfection and the service was exceptional. Love it!!!!

We ordered a takeaway tonight and paid money for delivery the order was wrong so we rang and asked for a refund for the stuff that was missing, and the food was cold we asked for a manager no manager to be seen. The way my friend got spoken to is absolutely disgusting by a member of staff and the phone got put down as they didn’t like that we had a complaint. I then rang my self and got spoken to like a piece of s**t by the boss of the store! Really need to gain some respect for paying customers otherwise you won’t have a business left as no one will want to order from this place. I am disgusted with the way we have been spoken tonight I would advise everyone to stay well clear of this place. Just a quick reminder to the staff member and the ‘boss’ treat people the way you would like to be treated and maybe you would go get some customer service skills

After waiting 40 minutes for our order, the time elapsed, when we rang they said they had cancelled our order as they were busy! Then strangely seconds later the cancellation came through. With a 3 star hygiene rating I think we had a lucky escape.

First time orddimg from here. Food arrived on time, nice and hot, enjoyed it. 2 hours later we were all suffering with upset stomachs. This was the only same meal that all of us had eaten all day. Could have been a tummy bug but the way how we all came down with sickness then the runs within 10 minutes of each other makes me think the Chinese was to blame

I booked through just eat. I was charged £12 delivery when it had advertised as free. When I called them it was tough. To add further insult the food remains pretty much untouched i ordered 2 dishes and rice. Only rice was edible, but who wants to eat plan rice on it's own. I looked on other reviews and found the restaurant was called Punjab Catering - I didnt check if this is correct. I've contacted their head office to find it under yet another name. Not sure why the ratings in Just Eat jumped up in a matter of hours. Spend your money on those other restaurants who care about their customers and doing their best in these shocking financial / covid times

Well all I can say is that I’m thanking my Lucky Stars that I didn’t get the 💩s .... probably because I made the right decision not to carry on eating it. The crispy seaweed tasted like fish and the peking sauce was nothing like I’ve ever tasted before (like watered down ketchup and brown sauce mixed together) and as for the mixed salt and pepper dish, well I wish I could post a picture because when I sent a pic to my bf he couldn’t believe it and told me not to eat it! So I didn’t and I was left hungry 😭 I don’t know how this place has any good reviews? Obviously people have never tried a decent Chinese takeaway before? Only good thing was that it was on time, to the minute.

Ordered food was told it would arrive in 50 minutes rang the restaurant after 1hr and 20 minutes to be told it would be another 15/20 minutes. Again I rang after 30 minutes and it arrived shortly after by which time we didn’t feel like eating it.

We placed an order with this restaurant tonight. They added 10mins on due to being busy. I rang them 5mins after delivery time to be told it was another 25mins. 40mins after that the food arrived. Dont get me wrong the food was amazing but 2hrs after I placed the order was a bit long even for a busy night.

Ooooh baby I like it.... well cooked and delivered on time!! another fine meal! Puts others to shame with their tripe. Kung po needs a few kashews though. other than that this place has one of the best chefs around.

When given a specific delivery time I expect it to be here, I had ordered it for when I had finished work so I’d be home just in time for the delivery, on a Friday night after a long shift the last thing you need is no food for over an hour. To be given no notice it was going to be late either, it took me to ring to then be told it would be another 20 minutes. I am not impressed especially the amount I pai for the food and also my delivery charge for it to be an hour late

The chicken fried rice was a little dry and tasted sort of plastic-y. Delivery was on time, and the driver was very pleasant. All of the other food was great.

Food arrived 30 minutes late than expected so a total wait of 1 hour and 20 minutes. Didn’t enjoy the food much as by the time it arrived we had gone past it as it was late in the evening. Quality wasn’t as good as it has been in the past. If they are busy then you can expect a longer wait time but shouldn’t have to receive poor quality food. Hope it improves for next time

Was recommended this chinese from family..ordered food over just eat app..said order will be with us for 8pm i ordered the food at around 7.20pm. Had a notification saying food had been delievered at 8.00pm it was 8.30pm and still not been delivered.. rang up and they said no sorry it hasnt even left yet it will be another 20 minutes till it leaves here so be getting on for 9pm cancelled the order..not a happy customer.. especially when it had been recommended by family aswell..
