I recently had a disappointing experience with Subway on Sunday 3-4pm. I asked the employees simple questions about my food. Customer service was very bad and the stuff was very unhelpful. One staff member came very close to me and was being rude. The lack of respect for my medical condition which I explained is unacceptable and I left Subway feeling insulted.

This store doesn’t even deserve a 1 star; Rude and unhygienic staff with bad attitude and when u want to redeem any points of subway app, I.e, if there is 30% off something they’d say “oh we don’t do this here at this store” but are quick to overcharge u. Alongside this the Ethiopian girl who works there mutters something under her breath and when u ask what did you say, she replies “nothing”. I won’t be going to this store anymore and neither will my friends or family. We will stick with the Moortown subway which is actually clean and not dirty with ants crawling on floor. I will also be reporting this store to trading standards and food hygiene to come and review this store as it is under new owners for the past 1.5/2 years. Absolutely DISGUSTING!!!!!!

Not a lot to say here really, so kept very simple. Food is great in my opinion, the variety, its preparation and execution. Service makes it even better, always happy to have a laugh with some of the ladies behind the counter. Very interactive and personalised. Main reason I keep visiting really. Atmosphere is what it is: a small takeaway shop with a couple of tables and a counter. Never seen too many customers at the same time whenever I visit. All in all, a great place to grab a quick bite!

Stingy with the toppings which people before me in the queue also commented on. They also don’t do any of the subway promotions

Rude and not professional at all did not answer any questions asked or offer meal deals

We always get the same when go come here ( tuna foot long ) today we went and asked for the same all salad on it, tuna cheese and toasted but when I took a bite I noticed there’s no tuna or cheese in my sub! Only salad and sauce. When I asked the lady she got my order wrong she says it’s not her fault and she can’t do anything about it, what a waste of money absolutely ridiculous. She lied and said that’s what I ordered like I don’t know what my order is. Dont know her name but I know her face!

Great and friendly service, even when it's busy you're not waiting long.

My 12 year old son has visited this Subway branch every Saturday for over a year. He loves Subway and this branch is conveniently located for a well deserved treat after football training. The branch used to be excellent but, slowly, greed has overtaken customer services. It started with signs going up announcing that they don't participate in Subway promotions. When the menu changed and my sons favourite sub was removed, there was zero flexibility (other Subways continued to make it for him). As he got more confident he started to ask if he could go in store and order his sub himself, whilst I waited outside. Again, all started well. Friendly, polite, ordered, points collected, all good. The first couple of times he tried to use his points to claim his free sub their "systems weren't working" and so he had to pay. Last week it was "sorry, you have to be over 18 to claim your points". There is alway an excuse. I went in to speak to them and was told if I'd been with him, he could have used his points. It is "policy". Despite happily giving him the points every week for months previous, knowing they would never let him redeem them. They got their policy folder out and shoved it under his nose, stabbing their finger at "the rules". Poor kid was embarrassed in front of other customers and told he had to pay. No thought to tell him that, if he came to get me, they would except the points. It's a sandwich for goodness sake. The kid comes in every single week! Just give him the free sandwich. Unbelievably poor customer experience.

I had asked about their offer but they said they did not do the footlong offer for £4.99 so was not happy but everything else was excellent - very good service and the food was good too.

Fridge lid open at all times when it supposed to be kept in controlled 3degree temperature, we popped in at 4pm, all the meat was greasy and slimy already cause it’s afront of baking oven with open fridge lid, reported to FoodStandardAgency, shocking standard that with 3 girls behind counter doing absolutely nothing on Sunday 7.01.24

I am disgraced that Subway have a car parking company issuing parking tickets extremely aggressively outside the shop. Early morning before the shop was open I dropped my wife off on the street. I pulled on to the space, she climbed out and drove off. I have appealed the decision which has been declined. So I have been fined £100 for 90 seconds. It is disgusting that companies like this are contributing to our local community in such an aggressive negative capacity. I am appalled and will boy-cot the brand, which I was a regular customer.

Food is expensive and there's no toilets

Me and Mrs decided to grab sandwiches for lunch and stopped at this branch. When we entered, Yogi was sat having his meal. We waited for him so he could finish his food. Once finished, he got up and without washing his hands he started serving us. Apparently they have their own store policy which he was unable to produce for us to see regarding reward points. We ordered 6 sandwiches in which 3 we wanted to claim our rewards with. There was nothing mentioned on the subway application that we can only claim one sandwich. But Yogi argued that we can only claim 1 6" sandwich and not 3. We had to leave everything and walk out. It was very embarrassing and his tone was very high when he spoke to me. Never we are never going back to this store and I would suggest avoiding it as well. There are plenty of other subways where you can get your food without embarrassment.

Good place, service is not the best.

It appears this branch has been taken over by a new owner. I was previously a regular but not anymore. This branch is extremely stringent with the sandwich fillings, now does not participate in any of the promotions and also is very rude. I witnessed a young boy in front of me in the queue being told he can’t have his sandwich cut in half with salad on one side and plain in the other. Never seen this to be an issue. They also said a large number of usual salad ingredients ‘weren’t available’. Coincidentally those ingredients were the ones that typically cost more and therefore the sandwich was of much less value without those additions. I would not recommend visiting this branch of Subway.

Lady was very rude. Had airpod on and doesn't know anything about customer service. Ordered tuna sub was burnt, bread was hard and went straight into the bin. Place was dirty rubbish on tables and floor not worth 1 star will never visit here again

Ever since this franchise changed hands the food appears to taste off as if they have kept the lettuce and cheese way past its use by date. The cheese when toasted tastes off and so does the salad

Staff were very kind and prompt to prepare the sandwiches.

Called this evening for tea,nobody in, 2 ladies behind counter chatting, place was filthy, everg table was dirty with left over food and drinks,food on the floor. I asked for my food,they looked at me as to why was I interrupting them.havnt been for ages,obviously won't be going back anytime soon. Get it cleaned up and better customer service

Only asked for 2 salad toppings and the miserable "artist" literally put 2 or 3 slices of pepper and onions! These people need to stop being so stingy, acting like they brought the salad from home.

Woah..What has happened here? Talk about going downhill, used to be great. Now the salad barely covered bottom of the box, under filled portions of chicken, won't be returning anytime soon.

Great service 👏..the sandwich designers changed their gloves after each sandwich as I was watching from the queue. Usually before I've had to ask for my sandwich to be made with clean gloves especially if they have touched other meats. Its ok to sit in..

First class service. Organised staff and high quality food

I go here pretty often for a quick lunch. Staff are increadibly friendly, food is nutritious and calorie dense while still being tasty and the vibe is nice.

Something terrible wrong with this branch now, I’ve used it as my local for years but I’m not sure if it’s under new management but they barely put any salad, it’s like they are rationing? Having spoken to others they have said the same. Such a shame because it’s always been the local subway and I’ve had zero issues in the past. I hope management look into this.

I was served by a very rude aggressive lady called Shwetal. I dread going to subway as I don't want to get served by her literally the most miserable person I've ever met. Always arguing for no reason just serve your customers politely!!

Visited after 2 months very good staff well behaved and professional, looked after my sandwich very well and compared to previous management this management is way better, treated very well thank you

Excellent service.delicious sandwich.I have been there after 3 months and can see so much improvement in food preparation and cleanliness.very good management.lot lot better experience than in past. Customer were appreciated when in queue and well managed long queue in busiest period. Good customer service.experienced very good friendly behaviour and professional atmosphere.

The staff in here couldn’t have been nicer. It was getting near the end of the day and they were doing some cleaning and tidying up getting ready for close of business but they made me feel welcome and they were friendly towards everyone who came in and took time to explain things to people. I've had a couple of bad experiences recently with McDonald's where customer service seems to have gone totally downhill but here it was really good. Will definitely come back.

My best place to have a quick meal

Halal sub is what one needs on a Friday afternoon. Small place with good parking, fast service and tastey subs.

Typical subway. Mediocre, if inexpensive food. Service was less than mediocre on the only occasion I've eaten here. Was surprised to discover that they have no toilet facilities, and you won't find anywhere public nearby. Won't be back.

Ok, didn't have much on the menu. No chicken, no cold drinks and wanted to charge me £1.60 for an empty cup!!!! Not a fan, will try to avoid next time. Staff friendly enough though

Excellent overall. Ample parking directly outside. Staff were friendly and chatty. Didn't have meatless meatballs :-( but apologetic and offered alternatives. Clean and tidy inside.

I bought subway from this location through Uber eats two weeks ago. I checked my order twice to make sure I ordered the right thing- a vegan patty with plant based cheese. But I was given dairy cheese instead. I had a really bad allergic reaction as I’m lactose intolerant and had to use my epipen. Had I not had my epipen I’m not sure what would have happened. The only reason I ate the entire sub was because I gave subway the benefit of the doubt that they wouldn’t make such a stupid mistake.. but the cheese did look and taste different to the plant based cheese. So as much as I’ve enjoyed subway in the past I won’t be repurchasing anytime soon. I have tried to get in contact with the store and customer support and haven’t had much luck. Do better.

Short on fillings unless you pay extra , extra ,extra !? Then you can make a good sandwich, salads are very good but don't for get that extra spoonful of cheese! Haha 😄

Good subway fare. Clean and organised but no queue inside when I visited. Two tables so could have sat outside but raining.

As usual the staff members were nice and helpful. The sandwich was of excellent quality. Hand sanitizer was provided. Was disappointed to see the store can be closed up to one hour before the advertised closing time.

30 minute wait because 2 of the three staff on duty were prioritising orders for delivery and at one time 5 delivery drivers were huddled in a small area not socially distancing Sandwich however was really good

Bad customer service. No sugar. Suggested to drink without)))))) No tissues!!!! Sandwiches prepare without gloves. Long queue. Very slowly prepare the sandwiches. Made two orders, forgot about second order. Asked to return money for coffee because no SUGAR told NO. Suggested me to drink coffee without sugar. When I asked them to serve me with respect and politeness accused me in aggression?!?!?)))))Bin outside full of rubbish this a point why rubbish is on street near caffe. Recommend to look over professional competence of this team which worked on 5th of January 2020 around 2 p.m.

Nice, quiet subway branch. Each time I've visited I've received fast service with a smile. So glad this branch does the breakfast subs with turkey sausages and turkey rashers , rather than pig / bacon.

Generally okay. On this occasion guy stuffed my child kid pack sarnie into bag so that it broke apart when my daughter took it out and the fillings dropped out. Not impressed but this was a one off really. 2 stars off top Mark's for upsetting my princess! Dont let it happen again subway. Thanks

Sorry but worker there not Chang their gloves for special allergies so I ordered gluten free and vegan but she didn’t change her gloves and was doing different order.can they’re be aware about that please.

Visited to pick up a quick bite to eat. The two girls serving at the time were brilliant and the customer service experience is the best I have had. Previously at this store the service has not bee great but the 2 girls serving are a credit to the company and couldn't do enough to ensure a positive experience.

I like the food. Ingredients are usually fresh. Place is clean. I always do takeaways but there are 3-4 tables inside for 8 to 10 people. Busy at peak meal hours but usually empty at other times. All meat served here is Halal. No toilets. Staff is not as friendly as I'd hope. A foot long sandwich costs around £6-6.50. Very few parking spots which are busy in the afternoon.

I get salad bowl everyday from subway on Roundhay Road. Today my salad bowl was not even half. I had to order fast tonight, never going back to this subway branch. Also i have told my friends not to use this branch.

Not happy at all. I ordered a coffee and a cookie and was surprised by a daddy long legs in my coffee and a moth in my cookie! Then i went in to complain and the whole place turned into a swimming pool i swear i ain't even trippin.

Typical example of the chain. The staff worked well together to provide me with a sandwich in good time. Prices have risen recently and my favourite, the big beef melt, has been deleted.

Go here quite often. Decided to use some of my accrued points to buy my meal this time. Wanted a festive sandwich (Turkey, gravy, stuffing etc) but they didn't have all the filling (stuffing) needed to make the sandwich so they let me customise it with other fillings. Always friendly and willing to help. The sandwich tasted nice despite not being what I ordered.

my 2 boys love going to subway its the only time they eat a whole sandwich.

This good takeaway or sit inside have a wide variety of salads and meat products and different tastey breads the prices are responsible and the cookies are gorgeous. Only problem is parking I have been several times and had no where to park so gone home empty.
