Lucky Inn in Barking and Dagenham

Worse Chinese I’ve ever had! That was absolutely not lamb in the “lamb chow mein!” Anyone been missing a cat?? Order took 1.5 hours to be delivered and was cold when it arrived. Seriously- stay clear!!

Me and my wife went for a pizza. We ordered the pepperoni but only received burnt dough!! The man at the counter had the audacity to call my wife a Whore when she went to return the pizza. Whilst it’s true he’s not allowed to say only I AM. THE DISRESPECT OF THIS MAN CANNOT GO UNOTICED. Should have gone to mackers. Can’t believe this. The man at the counter sounded like he barely spoke English can’t be having this voting for Reform after this experience 0/10 (attached photo of the man we need as pm)

Absolute rubbish food used to be the best Chinese locally but ever since the ownership changed a few years back it is an absolute rip off they use cheap ingredientes and have inflated the cost. The so called King Prawns are about 2cm big and they put 8 prawns in a curry dish. DO NOT SHOP HERE TOTALDISCRACE.

Me and my family were customers for years. The main owners were nice and made great food but sold over 5 years ago to a nice friendly family, sadly they too have seem to have sold it to Muslim owners selling Halal things plus pizza. We now have to eat at other places further away as this is Not a Chinese take away!

Call this a Chinese??? Nothing Chinese about this place. A bunch of Indians claiming to be Chinese. It’s a fraud and they are taking the customer for a ride. As per their website; "Sweet & Perfect" "The ingredients that we use to prepare our dishes are of the freshest and highest quality. We use locally sourced Irish beef, chicken, and fresh fish and seafood", A proper rip-off, We had guests from abroad who wanted Chinese, come across their misleading website, and order foods costing over £50. Total disappointment, we had to throw everything’s away.

Having used this place for 32 yrs & very happy but since the new management we have noticed a steady decline in quality & tonight was the worst described as breast of chicken on menu which was definitely NOT but actually processed meat and awful treatment from the staff when phoning to complain even putting the phone down on me I would advise anyone to steer clear - also no pork on menu what Chinese restaurant doesn’t cook pork not an authentic one for sure

Another local business bites the dust. Selling pizzas now, as well as second rate cardboard Chinese. Absolute shame, 3 generations of my family have eaten from this establishment, my grandad would travel from manor park, me from Romford, my dad from Dagenham, all at least once a month, when the the previous husband and wife tag team smashed through their abundance of orders, the old clientele will know what the lucky inn was like on a Friday and Saturday. This lucky inn is not worthy of the name. No pork? The place in an embarrassment to its previous owners, decades of hard work, and consistent quality food. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Ordered twice from this place. First time we waited over an hour, and they delivered only half of the order. They were not even apologetic, just said they could give us a refund for the meals that didn't arrive. I wasn't happy, but thought the food wasn't too bad, so gave them another chance. Tonight we had a family round so we placed a large order. Email confirmation said 60 minutes wait. We waited 1.5 hour, so decided to call them to check when our order would arrive. No answer on the phone, we tried for half an hour and gave up. Nobody turned up with our order. How disappointed we were, it's unbelievable. So my advice is, give them a miss if you are hungry. I will not order from them again.

The food is horrible, it tastes like a feeble attempt to make Chinese food, the ribs are not pork - they are lamb with a 70% fat content, very chewy and tastes horrid. The chicken in black bean sauce had absolutely no flavour and the chicken wings were supposed to be hot and spicy but were spiceless. The fried rice was horrid, it was normal boiled rice with a few vegetables thrown in tossed lightly in a wok, had a very strange rancid taste. I threw the whole lot away and will never order from them again. I have just found out it is run by Asians. How the hell can Asians make authentic Chinese foods, probably explains why it's so disgusting. Be warned - do not order, you will waste your money.

This place has been taken over, had a take away from there tonight absolutely disgusting, will not be returning.

Delicious food & professional, it’s all at an affordable price. Can totally recommend it and will definitely come back again. Highly recommended ....Yummy
