Went to Lorenzos for my birthday (20/12/2023) It was FABULOUS the food was 5 star, service surroundings spot on. Definitely going back. Well well worth a visit 10/10

Cannot fault in any way! Spaced layout, extremely clean, very friendly helpful staff and the food was devine. Well worth what we paid.

An amazing family run establishment, it’s hard to find a good Italian using quality tasty ingredients these days, The menu isn’t overwhelming and with the specials menu always on hand we have a nice verity to choose from that keeps us coming back. We stumbled across this little gem one afternoon and never looked back. We visit weekly on our own and occasionally bring the family. We are always warmly welcomed and seated promoting. The service, staff and food has always been superb! Im a small eater and so pleased to small plate options on the menu. We highly recommend this place you won’t be disappointed. And if you can fit in dessert the homemade cheesecake is a must!

What a great Italian restaurant. This was our first visit and it won't be our last. We experienced a really nice reception and enjoyed a refreshing pre meal drink at the bar. The meal was excellent and the wine was second to none.

Lovely restaurant great food and service always

A hideous experience which has left a very bitter taste … We are 3 fifty somethings who arrived at the restaurant on the afternoon of Saturday 22nd July. We were looking forward to a lovely meal in pleasant surroundings which had been previous experiences for all of us. Sadly, Saturday was to be completely the opposite and ended with us walking out. As we were early for our table we asked if we could sit in the bar area and have a drink. We were deliberating over a specific wine when the owner came over to ask if we were ready to order. One of my friends turned to ask if we were happy with our choice. The owner interrupted saying just yes or no. My friend tried to explain but the man just walked away and went back behind the bar. She made several attempts to apologise and stated we did not mean to offend at which point he made a comment that we were obviously brought up differently. At this juncture all 3 of us were incredulous and once again my friend tried to resolve the issue. The owner was totally dismissive and walked away. By now the atmosphere was extremely uncomfortable and people seated in the restaurant had started to look over. It was at this point we decided to leave. On our way out we tried to speak with the owner’s son whose only words were ‘I know!’ The whole experience was humiliating, unnecessary and a blatant disregard for customer service whatever their gender, race or colour.

We are three mature women, in our 50 s. We had arranged an evening out and were looking forward to a catch up and a great meal. We arrived a little earlier than anticipated prior to our timed booking and chose to go to the bar for a drink. We were discussing what wine to have, and my friend wanted to ask about the wine, an expensive no longer produced wine.......only to experience what i can describe as wholly unreasonable, utterly outrageous & intimidating behaviour from the owner... My friend attempted to placate the owner , she is a very reasonable educated and polite individual, on two occasions she attempted to speak to him. He then launched into a racially motivated attack suggesting that she was not raised in the same way as them. Racial discrimination of this kind cannot be tolerated. UTTERLY DISGUSTING behaviour !!!!. The whole experience was further perpetuated by the owners son who would not stand up against his father . UTTER DISGRACE !!!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!!!!!! If you have any moral standing this place must be avoided. I am disgusted that in this day and age that we experienced this. AVOID!!!!!

Can't fault the service and quality, excellent 👌. Gluten free options as well. A little pricey but that's usually the case in Italian restaurants.

Been to Lorenzo's several times before & been happy. Our daughter ordered the veal dish and that is all she got- a plate with veal covered in sauce, no vegetables. Two of the men in our party had steak and were served potatoes and vegetables, would have expected chips for them . They shared their veg with her. We probably should have complained, £19.90 for a plate with a slice of veal in sauce was a bit much. They should check the orders before they leave the kitchen. Probably will not go back.

Really enjoyable meal in a lovely setting, very accommodating to our children; one with special needs.

This was our first trip to Lorenzos, all I can say is WOW. What a fantastic place, great food, great service and fabulous atmosphere. I would recommend this fantastic restaurant to anyone. We all had a great night and will definitely be going back again. Thank you too all the staff and the chef. Keep up the great work.

Perfect for families or couples, food cooked to a high standard, always made to feel welcome, will be eating here again very soon.

Lovely food. I had the seabass serviced with potatoes & root vegetables. All really lovely but just a very small portion of carrot . Would have loved some asparagus, peas or broccoli. Poor amount of root veg!!!!

A late booking for my mums birthday… We were fitted in and the service was amazing, very friendly, welcoming and always checking to make sure we’re okay. The food was delicious! From the complementary homemade bread to our starters and main courses. A great impression and would definitely recommend to all.

Have dined here a few tiimes, always excellent. Highly recommended.

Very nice staff which was happy to accommodate us despite not pre-booking a table. I was delighted by the food...everything was very tasty and delicious. The beef stake is from organic beef and I was very pleased to hear this as I use only organic meats and when I dine out this is something you don't find. The olive oil Lorenzo's restaurant uses is 100% pure and virgin and you can indeed feel the difference. A small part of Italy in this cozy restaurant. To summarize nonno Gianni gets 5* hospitality 5*starts food and 5* for introducing organic products that make a difference in terms of food quality but also I'm terms of healthcare!

Pretty disgusted at the greetings we just received as paying customers we popped in to see if any tables we available and basically mocked and with a firm absolutely no! I'm very disheartened by your service I've heard nothing but good things about this restaurant but how my expectations were completely destroyed I'll make sure that my family of 50 plus who were going to book with yourself will not book disgraceful 0 star absolutely

We enjoyed a very nice meal,sharing a starter of Funghi Monte Baldo and a Pomodoro Garlic Bread.We had already been offered home made bread and oil.We had mains of Tagliatelle Ragu and Lasagna. We finished with homemade Tiramasu and Gelato ,washed down with an Expresso.Thisis the first visit in 4 years since I've had the stroke.Gianni, Susan and Rugero are great hosts with a vastly different Restaurant now.It is an inviting place to eat and a vast wine list.If you are in the Preston and Fylde area its a great place for a good Italian meal.

Very comforting food and a top selection of beer and wine. Staff are so lovely too and the prices for what you get is more than reasonable. Best place to eat for a lot of miles.

A late booking for Friday for our first visit. Excellent service from the staff, especially with the choice of a great bottle of red wine. Both the starters and main meals were very good. Will definitely return

Visited on Friday with a couple of friends best lasagne I've had in a long time. Everything was spot on wine desert etc. A special mention to Emily the waitress for being a real joy 😊

A family meal for 10 people for my daughters 18th Birthday. Nothing was too much trouble! All staff and chefs too amazing service and food quality. Came here because great service 4 years ago for my dads 70th. Very happy and will definitely come again even though it’s almost an hours drive away! Thanks to all staff etc for a lovely evening!

That was fantastic 👏 Attentive service, excellent food and a sophisticated atmosphere...in Freckleton! Loved it, well done Lorenzos. We had a Sunday- Thursday offer of a 2 course set menu for £14.90 and it was excellent. She had subtly spicy chicken livers and I had the Gnocchi for starters - both perfectly cooked. Then she had Lorenzos' fishcakes and I had the Ciccehti Platter (guessing spelling). Both fab. Our daughter (3) had a fantastic Spag Bol and was treated like royalty all night. As per usual when they had a dessert, I had a starter: reliably informed the Chocolate torte was lovely. Meanwhile my tempura(?) battered courgette with salt flakes was to die for. Excellent, we'll be back.

The food was excellent, the staff were very friendly (despite being kept late) and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend and will hopefully return again!

Lorenzo's is a first class restaurant, the food is impeccable, the service is excellent and the ambiance is very relaxing I have been several times with family and friends, all had a fantastic time, as a side issue, or I suppose it should be a main - the Lasagne is the best I have ever tasted, if you haven't tried it, do so, you will not be disappointed.

We had this place recommended to us by family members and went with them to celebrate a birthday - so glad we did! The quality of the food was incredible, easily the best Italian food I've had to date. I had the chicken pate and gnocchi with goats cheese; the pate had bags of flavour and was a very generous portion, the gnocchi dish was sublime, and although I was too full to have a dessert for myself I did try my husband's cheesecake which was just incredible. Honestly, so light and refreshing. We'll be going back soon I imagine; even though it's quite a drive for us the food alone is with it, and the atmosphere and service was also top notch. Cannot recommend it enough.

What a great place. Hidden away in Freckleton, Lorenzo's is certainly worth a detour. We were very late arriving and the team just kept a table open for us. The food was great and there was a good choice of drinks too. Excellent food and attentive but not obtrusive staff topped of a great evening.

Nice place and decor but booked a table for 8.30. Long wait to be seated. Only one starter turned up so had to remind them after waiting quite a while! No apology or anything. 1hr 10 mins later only had had starter. Long wait for main which meant the rest of our plans for the night were cancelled. We were on a special date and the table we had was backed against alley for kitchen so lots passing all the time. Much better tables were free that they could have sat us at. Prices ok but £2.50 for a soda and lime ???? Pizzas quite nice but base a little bland. Well we tried it. There were quite a few groups in and I think they concentrated on them and not in us. Frustrating night.

Never had a bad meal here, service is great and the staff are always helpful. Everytime I go here I am always surprised by the quality of the food. You think you've tasted it all then these guys go one better. Love the new bar makeover and it's nice to see a restaurant that doesn't cramp you into tight spaces.
