Lord of the Noodles in Midlothian

I used to eat a lot but they started using bags of cooked frozen chicken tasteless so am not going back that's just being lazy as fresh chicken is best sorry you lost a good customer

Food is ok but not fantastic , service is fast and efficient , beware of the extra charge on your bill for a cheap plastic carrier bag , that really get my goat as most restaurants nowadays do not advise this charge on the menu , and plastic bags nowadays should be banned,

Again this place has knocked it out the park staff are super friendly and food is always cooked to perfection we even got our Christmas dinner from here and let me tell you it did not disappoint! Deliveries have always been fast and hot!

Been going here for about 5 years tonight was the worst meal I have had salt and chilli chips no taste fried rice greasy. if order over certain amount they ask if you want free spring rolls still waiting on them. Has this takeaway changed hands or has laurance left.

not the best I ordered Singapore chow mein. Think they used curry powder not fresh chillis. Very powdered. Couldn't eat it.

Ordered here atleast 50 times I have never had any bad food always hot and always cooked to perfection best Chinese food around here I always order the chicken and salted chips with bbq sauce brilliant food and fast delivery everytime 5 stars

Called placed order 1½ hour later phoned to see how much longer it was going to be, was told driver should be with me in few minutes which he was,I was shocked when opened the munchies box, the chips was cold & hard,looked like they had been reheated to often, was so hungry waiting I had to pop it in microwave it, which shouldn't have happened,what I found funny was they called to see how my order was!! Told them wasn't happy & reasons why 1½ wait and it was cold and reheated chips, he replied that its not sat in the bag for 1½hours it's made up when driver returns to the shop, I felt like he had just said my food had been sitting in the bag that long, as I hadn't even said that or mentioned that, but next time I call, if I ever decide to, Thats 1st order had from them that not been happy with & feel my food sat for long time in the bag, & iv had many take aways from them over the years & never have they called to ask how it was, so that puts even more thought into my head the food was in the bag, I had just shared it out had few chips when they called, ,£14 for very poor munchie box, will never order a box from them again

Used this takeaway for the first time, Christmas Day. Extremely pleased we did. Staff were lovely, called me up to confirm delivery time, food arrived when they said it would and it was hot and delicious! Think this will be my new favourite takeaway 🙂

SIMPLY THE BEST! We placed a large order for a family new year feast. It was about 20 dishes in all. The guy on the phone was freindly, helpful and efficient. The food arrived at the exact time we asked for it. Everything was piping hot and totally delicious. There were even a couple of freebies included with the delivery. Nobody else even comes close the Lord of The Noodles! 100 percent recommended!!!

Started using Lord of the noodle during lockdown as our regular one was closed, Well we have now seen the error in our ways. This is by far superior to any of the surrounding Chinese takeaways. The owner was lovely also and assured us if anything was wrong just to let him know and he would fix it, (everything we ordered was amazing ) and has been since.

First time ordering from here it was brilliant especially the chicken cheese and mushroom rolls excellent

We have been ordering from here since Lawrence took over, and the food is absolutely amazing. Huge portions and always piping hot. The delivery is fast and the drivers are courteous. Absolutely outstanding.

Just ordered for the first time tonight after a recommendation. I had sweet and sour chicken Cantonese style and noodles. Plenty chicken, loved the crispness of the peppers and carrot. My husband wasn't keen on the dry ribs but I loved them. Personal taste and nothing to do with the ribs. Staff were lovely and chatty. We will DEFINITELY be back!

First time we had food including spring rolls it was great, last time the food was blead and greasy. Preferred the one in Dalkeith, same delivery charge. Sorry guys.

Really brilliant service the lady took the time to ask my 9 year-old daughter what she would like, loved the menu and great portion size I gave into temptation and ordered the chocolate fritters. My daughter liked getting a lollipop and the fact she got prawn crackers free. Nice wee wander down the road for us.

Consistently delivers very good quality tasty food with a really consistent quality across the menu. Has been our go to place for at least 6 months. The recent menu expansion is very welcome, the beef sambal is absolutely excellent.

Lord of the noodles has changed hands and it has gone from being the best Chinese takeaway in newtongrange to frankly the worst. I have called them to give feedback. They have chosen to go with cost over quality for its customer. The hunt is now on to find a good Chinese takeaway. Sad. 😫

Best Chinese in the area, nice portion sizes and great offers with complimentary side dishes when you spend an set amount.

Excellent food but don't use delivery service as 40 minutes turned out to be 1 hour 25 min as staff could not imput address properly very disappointed.

Ordered Crispy Shredded Beef and Honey Chilli Sauce with egg fried rice. Normally I order from Friendlies in Dalkeith but ill be ordering from Here from now on in! 5 stars all night long this meal is banging! Plus delivery was very quick and food was fresh as could be.

Been put of chineses lately. Tried lord of the noodles tonight and cant believe the difference. Amazing,hot, freshly made. Cant believe i havent used this chinese before. Will never use no one else now.
