LORD HOP - MICROPUB in Nuneaton and Bedworth

Watched the world go by from the upstairs window, with the ideal combination of hoppy beer and a cheese and onion baguette.

Popped in for a couple of pints on the way to a beer festival. A couple of excellent pints on cask one was local. There's a fire for when it's cold, the atmosphere is great and locals seem friendly.

The best micropub in town. Always a good selection of changing ales and ciders.

The Lord Hop continues to thrive under new management. Excellent choice of beers, but they also sell a good range of ciders and wines.

Wonderful afternoon drink whilst visting my daughter in Nuneaton. Great find, great selection of ciders and ales, great service from the bar on educating me on the choices on offer. Will definitely be back!

A former shop repurposed as a micropub. Small, friendly, and offering a range of ales and ciders. Normally has 3-4 ales from breweries (often smaller ones) all around the UK. There is also normally 5-6 ciders on offer. Not a place for lager drinkers. A good place to visit for a decent pint.

Good beer selection, nice staff

No less than 5 star, really nice hops and beers/bitters, the taste of the menu changes weekly so you can try new pints and bottles, best place for a bitter, staff/owner is really nice and welcoming,great place to relax and enjoy a pint or two.

Laugh a minute and no agro real beer and real people.

Only ever bought take outs, but they have some brilliant beers and a lovely cheese and onion sandwich

Friendly bar staff and sociable regular customers, beer top quality real ale and ciders, usually retailing between £3.60 and 3.80 depending on strength. Wine, Gin and soft drinks also available. Would highly recommend the Lord Hop, Nuneaton's best real ale pub by far and regularly featured in the Campaign for Real Ale "Good Beer Guide".

Top beers and super easy, relaxed vibe. Very reasonable prices, £3.20 on many of the cask beers.

Great venue, lots of goodbeers. Friendly and convenient to town centre.

Top real ale and cider pub. Nice people in there. It's small but that adds to the experience.

Unfortunately this micro pub does not allow Dogs All wooden floors, no carpet so sad really Please add to your list of NOT Dog Friendly ☹☹🐕🐕

Best place for a drink in Nuneaton! A connoisseur's favourite in a unique pub environment. If you enjoy a good cider then this is certainly the place!

I love this place. An oasis in the desert of Nuneaton. If you want a decent real ale/craft ale- it's the only option locally. Keep up the good work Gaz and Mick too!

Always a good selection of well-kept beers and some ciders. Pleasant and knowledgeable bar staff. Try before you buy policy for those who like to be sure what they're ordering. Small and quiet so you can hold a conversation without shouting. Would have given 5 stars but deducted a half star as the decor and facilities are a bit spartan. Should've been four and a half stars but Google doesn't allow halfs ☹️!

Interesting little place in Nuneaton

Lovely little pub with a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Has a wide range of ciders, gin and mixers. The seating is comfortable and there's plenty of room. I would however like to see the board games in the room updated (as many pieces have been broken and lost) and perhaps more beers. Overall a good experience and one of the nicer places to go to for a good drink.

This is the best pub in Nuneaton. The beer is very reasonably priced and there are many options for you to try.

Small gem of Nuneaton. Nice location, easy access as in town centre. Have cool variety of cask & ales but really missed keg stuff on tap. Apart of that, great atmosphere, not nice vibes as we were outlanders coming from London so most of people looking at us strangely 😝 same as bar tender. Seems like Outlanders r not warmly welcome 😆. Nice seating on top storey. Anyhow we enjoyed our time there.

Lacks atmosphere and very clearly a conversion from an old retail or office unit. The staff member who served us seemed to lack any knowledge of the beer when asked for recommendations and did not want to engage in conversation. With work it could be a good place.

Good selection of beer and ciders. This place has no atmosphere though and the decor is dreary. Has potential to be a hip little joint but falls short of the mark. Elbow room in hinckley is an example of how it could be done.

Brilliant little pub, always a varied selection of ales and ciders. Great staff who are always friendly. There is no particular age group will be found here, from 18 to 80 can be found and everyone talks to each other which creates a great atmosphere. So if you like real ales and proper ciders you need to pay a visit, I can assure you after one visit you'll make plenty more.
