Fabulous, tasty breakfast! Delicious coffee, tea pot is a two cup pot. Food was fresh, coffee strong, a perfect combo. And they do cheese with marmite toasties.

Lovely sandwiches and a yummy selection of cakes. Sandwiches on the bottom tier, cakes on the middle tier and scones with jam and cream on the top tier.

I have been to this café twice so far and will definitely be back. The staff is friendly, I had a flat white, a chai latte and the persian cake, all delicious. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed (I went there at around 2pm) and there's a lovely view of the castle. Great place to work on your laptop as well, they have plugs on the wall behind some of the tables. They have high chairs on demand as well. Lastly, don't be fooled by the name, it's not a play café!

Came to Caerphilly for the first time and wanted a coffee spot to kick-off our visit. Highly recommend this place - plenty of drink options and guest coffee, top-notch food, a lovely chilled vibe and a great view of the castle across the road.

I booked an area for 14, for Sunday lunch via Facebook messenger. There was plenty of on street parking and a friendly welcome. All the preordered meals were served correct, warm, with a selection of vegetables. Every single person raved about their choice and I got to take our leftover beef (very generous portions) for my greyhound Lily..... her eyes are the best review anyone could have! We are all family based in Monmouth, Cardiff, Blackwood & Abertillery and the location was great for us all.

This is a charity run church business. The welcome is always warm. The food is freshly prepared and the prices are reasonable. Although this is a Christian run cafe religion isn't thrust upon you. My family goes there regularly. Overall a worm, welcoming cafe.

We've been to this pub a few times and it's usually nice, but what a shame the garden was littered with glasses, broken glass and bottles last Saturday. Someone came out to clear the tables while we were there but didn't look in the grass area so they weren't cleaned up. Very dangerous if you have kids playing here.

Went here a few times but just won't go again. It's a nice place, dog friendly and great to be able to see the brewery from the bar area. Unfortunately the prices are stupidly high and I simply refuse to go again to pay that money. I understand craft beer is typically more expensive than what is labelled as real ale, but it's Caerphilly we are talking about here, not some big city. I recall the last time I went with a friend I paid something like £13 for 2 pints. Ridiculous especially when you consider that's about Oxford prices for craft (in some places it's less). Even tiny rebel in Cardiff is less than that. Unfortunately on this basis I refuse to visit anymore. I don't expect value for money but equally I don't expect to feel ripped off. Looking at other reviews I'm not the only one. At even £5 a pint I would have likely gone at least 10 more times with a friend since I stopped going (having 2 or 3 pints per person on each occasion), but I refuse to pay almost £7 a pint (some on tap are even more expensive). Such a shame.
