Long Acre in Redcar and Cleveland

me and my friend came to longacer earlier today ,the drinks were delivered straight away and finding a table was no bother at all as we called in advanced and the person who answered the phone (alfie) reserved us a table which was very convenient . our food was delivered quickly and was very nice, our main waiter (alfie) came and made sure we were all okay with our food and provided a nice welcoming atmosphere, we enjoyed it so much we even ordered a desert each, the waitresses were also very nice and polite. would definitely reccomed, cheap prices, good service and good food 👍

Another great late lunch. Curry day so even better value. Husband tried the new hotdog,loved it. Great staff and so professional. Thankyou.

While the Longacre is part of Marsdens pub chain the food certainly doesn't look or taste like it. We have visited on numerous occasions and have ordered something different each time. We have never had anything that didn't taste lovely & freshly cooked & there is always a good choice, that caters for all. The new items on the menu are to the usual high standard, especially the salt & chilli kebab & portions are always a good size. The staff here are always really welcoming, friendly and helpful and always look happy in their job. They are also very child friendly. The last thing and by no means least is the way they cater for children during school holidays. This ranges from fabulous activities that they put on to the offers on food. All round a fantastic local place with a relaxed atmosphere that is suitable for all.

Staff absolutely spot on ! Food and drink were basic . Way over priced for both ! Steak was cooked to perfection.. frozen chips let it down . The starter of mac n cheese was a joke for nearly 8 pound Werherspoon standard with seaside prices.

Fantastic pub, staff are really friendly, food is always great and it’s really reasonably priced. Plenty of choice and the midweek deals are good. This is our go-to place to eat!

Came here after spending the day I. Saltburn. Food was really nice. Would definitely come here again when visiting saltburn

Came for lunch on a Friday. Got table service and service was good. Got the ultimate chicken burger which was good. Came with gravy which lifted it. My wife got the cowboy burger and she really enjoyed it. Would recommend, value for money too.

My partner and I go to Longacre regularly- either as a couple or with our 2 littles - and we always receive good, consistent standard or food. The last time was particularly good - surf and turf steak was delicious and the staff always humor me by giving me burger sauce with my steak! Great service from Moira as usual. Our little girl even coloured Moira a picture to say thank you for the meal, and enjoying her sweeties afterwards. We will be back soon!

This place is always clean and decorated (given the season/event) to a good quality. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food arrives always hot 🔥. Lovely pub for everyone to enjoy

My wife and I have visited quite a few times for meals both evening and Sunday lunch the food has always been superb, the staff are professional and friendly nothing is to much bother for them, making a very good atmosphere in the pub. There are a good range on beers which are kept well. We will continue to visit and enjoy the food and experience. Thanks to all the staff.

Tried this for Sunday Lunch and here are our findings: -

I visited with my daughter in law a d granddaughter we all chose from the grill I had rib eye steak with brie and bacon topper my granddaughter had the chicken grill and her mum had the mixed grill. The food and service were first rate.

Popped in here for a quick bite to eat, wasnt busy just ticking over nicely, well after 10 mins deciding what to have, we ordered, veggie curry, chicken pie, chicken curry & a mixed grill, it took over 30 mins to come, couldn't understand why, but anyway it was all very nice we all got deserts, again not bad for the price. It wasn't anything flash just another case of same pub grub, different town, would go back again but not in a hurry. A few members of staff could do with a dose of happy pills, not much service with a smile they looked a bit tense, lighten up & enjoy.

Went here with my son for a meal. it was lovely from start to finish, mainly due to the great staff. So friendly, down to earth & helpful. My son had T bone steak & I had the pulled pork hash. Delicious.

We have been three times to The Longacre Pub on our first visit we were having a meal on entering we were asked if we were eating as we said yes we were instructed we could go to the right for waiter service or left and order at the bar, so right is more like a restaurant and left more like a pub, we chose left but next time I would go right if I was eating as we ended up next to a noisy table of women that had probably been in there a bit too long. The food however was quite good for pub grub and the service was good.

Really happy to see an extensive vegan menu having visited regularly since it opened and only having one choice on the menu previously. Now we have a choice of about 3 for every course! It's an interesting menu which is exciting to try. They also have a good choice of real ales and a gin menu we have yet to try. Friendly helpful staff in pleasant surroundings. A great place to go!

After my first visit I vowed to return but wish we hadn't. Ordered drinks when we were seated then the starters, the starters came and I had to go ask for my drinks which they'd forgot. The starters were terrible natchos stale prawn cocktail Brown lettuce. One main could not be eaten one steak was as tuff as a bulls lug!!!!!

8 of us arrived without booking as a last minute thing we were given a table straightaway in the waiter/waitress service area

Went for the 1st time for my nephews birthday. Luckily we had booked as it was quite busy on arrival. We had a very friendly welcome. I opted for the rib eye steak, my dad went for the t bone. Both were cooked to how we had asked, parts of steak were bit tough but still tasted nice, an the little pie with sauce in was a lovely addition. Mams chicken grill looked really good, she enjoyed it but struggled with the chicken leg as it was bit dry. We couldn't leave without trying desserts, all of which were gorgeous. Can't wait to go back next week and try the pizza which I've heard lots of good reports on.

Lovely pub with a good atmosphere. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Food is delicious and they have some very good deals on several days of the week

We've just finished our seventh(!) visit to eat here... we regularly eat out as a small family and my gf said i should write a review on here, it has been a while!

First time here and I’m impressed. Pub chain food but cooked and presented very well. The staff are great and very helpful. We asked for extra gravy and we had it in a couple of mins. Very clean place and I will be back. Keep up the good work

Had an enjoyable lunch today. Plenty of choice. Reasonable prices. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It was very clean and well organised. Dishes were cleared away promptly. Loved the decor. Very modern and stylish. Will definitely return soon.

This was my first visit to this new pub / restaurant We only had coffee , which was OK Met a very pleasant helpful young man who carried our coffees as neither of us has good hands Thank you

For a brand new restaurant / pub I thought there may be a few teething problems but I was completely wrong. The pub was busy and I hadn’t booked but this wasn’t a problem, we were greeted by a very enthusiastic manger, he straight away found a table for 6 of us. The menu choice is excellent traditional pub classics (we have fussy family members, vegetarians, allergy’s etc ) and the food is also brilliant value, we chose from the 2 courses deal and it was delicious. Our waiter Mikey was very efficient and polite and I could fault his excellent service. I liked how he double checked every order, making sure everything was spot on (peas for beans etc) Brilliant touch.

I have had 3 meals at this place since its opened, all of them Excellent, you can sit and relax in the comfy seating. The staff are very efficient and friendly, the meals are quick in coming which is a bonus. On Wednesday you can have a pizza and drink for £5. the Pizza was delicious. This Pup have been much needed in this area.

My wife and I went out on Sunday dinnertime and thought we would go to the Long Acre for our second visit.

Decided to try The Longacre a bit last minute for a first visit. We were greeted with a warm welcome. The food was very nice but most importantly the staff were great. Really friendly and even offered to box up pizza we hadn’t managed to finish. First class and very clean. Well worth a visit.

We visited on Friday and ordered the 2 x Steaks and bottle of wine for £20, but upgraded to fillet steaks (£3 extra) each was cooked to absolute perfection. Us girls were impressed with the huge selection of gin! And the men enjoyed the different ales. Unfortunately we had no room for dessert, we saw them going by and they looked amazing! I love the decor and the pub has a fantastic atmosphere. The service was fautless, we found all the staff helpful friendly and attentive. We will be regulars no doubt, looking forward to trying the Sunday roast, pizza Wednesday and burger Thursday very soon Well done team Longacre, keep up the good work!

Have visited twice now since opening. Cannot recommend highly enough. Food is outstanding and excellent value. Service is relaxed, friendly and super efficient. A very welcome addition to the local area.

Absolutely gorgeous food, and brilliant service served by Riley and Alex. Been twice already and couldn’t say a fault would recommend.

It is the first time visiting this pub and I certainly wasn’t disappointed! The food tastes amazing and the service is very welcoming and attentive, shout-out to our waiter Mikey! I will definitely be coming back and will be recommending to others :)

Rang to see if we could book a table and were told no but they the ' buzzer ' system We arrived and were given the buzzer and shown to a seating area where we could get a drink and wait We were told about 15 mins which it was Shown to our table and our server Cassie explained what was what and answered our questions We chose off the Friday special 2 steaks and a bottle of wine for £20 Excellent value Food was good Service was good We didn't have to move from the table Drinks were brought food was brought bill was brought All good no negative comments We will be back

Me and my partner went here last night. I can't fault it. Beautiful food, great value for money, booze cheap and cheerful, ales were lovely, friendly staff. I must thank moira she was absolutely brilliant. All staff were friendly and welcoming. Me and my partner will be going again. We have found our new local without going to far. Thank you for a great night.

Decided to try the new Longacre pub for a meal. OMG, beautiful food, I had the cajun rump steak skewer followed by chocolate orange bread and butter pudding and I'm very happy and so is my stomach. Very good, staff are very friendly and accommodating. We'll worth a visit.

We ate here as part of a preview night before their official opening day. There were 4 of us, and between us we got to try a pizza (fresh made and not a scrap left once we'd finished!), gammon and 2 of us got the Kknock Out burger. Really wish I'd taken pictures of them all but we'd eaten half of our meals before I thought to take pics! The food was absolutely spot on. Two of us shared the Rocky Road Block Calzone - oh wow! Absolutely heaven! Thanks to all the staff at The Longacre.
