London Calling! in Rugby

1st time visiting with my daughter for breakfast, and it is definitely worth a visit. Breakfast was lovely.

Breakfast was great, service not so good, but in fairness it was very busy and we was informed of waiting time as soon as we arrived. Would definitely recommend.

Music was good one time, Now the music is rubbish rap music. Staff aren't friendly either! DONT RECOMMEND!!

I'd heard this place did a good fried breakfast, so when I happened to actually be in town of a morning, I decided to give it a try. I had the middleweight breakfast, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 hash browns, beans, toast, and I exchanged the mushrooms and tomatoes so I could have 2 fried eggs. Sausages were really good, bacon was nice, eggs were runny, hash browns were well cooked, crispy on the outside. Glass of orange juice was good and cold, coffee was just help yourself to nescafe, which was the only slight let down, but by no means ruined the experience, and I'd definitely go back. Staff were friendly, place was clean.

Has to be the best English Breakfast you can buy in Rugby. Absolutely fantastic food and service. Get there very early on a Saturday 9am to get a table. 👍

Bad,very bad.......we wanted to go and see the live band yesterday to celebrate our colleague but it seems what was a happy moment it turned into a bad one. I bought a round of drinks and asked for a tray so I can take it to our table. All fine first round but then after the second one exactly at the bar someone went into me and all the drinks went on me there where a lot of witnesses and when I've asked the barmaids if we can have another one as they saw what happened. I was told we need to pay again even though it was exactly at the bar. I've asked them if they can bring the drinks they said they don't do table service lol does that means if you serve breakfast in the morning does that mean people they go and help themselves from the kitchen? Okay we raised above with this situation and we tried to continue our night. Didn't helped when one of the band members started to be rude to my colleague just because she asked to turn the speaker the other way. For a group who spent over £100 pounds on drinks surely you would expect at least some nice customer service but no. I went and asked who is the owner there but I was told that one of the ladies is the manager ...well she surely choose to don't do nothing even worse she was laughing about the situation with other customers. Don't recommend and I will make sure to spread the word about this place. Expensive drinks with not clean toilets plus rubbish attitude towards customers.

What more can I say.By miles the best breakfast in Rugby.Service is second to none.Brilliant place,it's a must visit venue.

I don’t go here a lot but when I have been It’s generally been great. However, last night we had an awful experience with 2 members of staff. I think one was the owner. Came in with a group of 6 and sat down at two empty tables - we pushed them together so we could sit a bit closer together. (Pretty standard procedure in any bar/pub I’ve been to in my life). Should also be noted we moved the table by about a meter. Then a member of staff comes over and has a go at us saying we should have really asked before moving the table by less than a meter (to the detriment of absolutely nobody). But no problem - we were more than happy to accommodate and sit at one table, we just let them know we had a few people getting drinks at the bar so there would be six people. For whatever reason she was incredibly angry and rude about it. Then the owner came over and instantly put his hands on my friend and asked him how much he’d had to drink?? We had quite literally been sitting down for about 30 seconds at this point. My friend said he’d had one and that remark must have pushed him over the edge because he kicked us out then. Mental stuff.

Absolutely fantastic pub! As soon as I walked in, I felt so welcome by all members of staff and especially the owners themselves. Very professional! Will definitely visit here again!

The owners are really rude. We turned a table around and they got really aggressive with us.

We come to rugby every other month, and always end up in this great little pub. Everyone friendly, great bands great atmosphere great staff. See u soon

Lively bar with a great atmosphere, I love this place. The Clash, The Smiths and other greats make up a unique inside decor theme. Live bands at the weekend.

If you're looking for a place for breakfast on a weekend in Rugby then highly recommend. Freshly cooked to order (unlike chain pub over the road). Great full English brekkie plus unlimited tea & coffee in very pleasant surroundings.

Grear breakfast, but Sunday is mega busy so had to wait over an hour to be served.

I was refused to be served breakfast because I went there at 1238 and their sign suggested that the breakfast service ends on 1300 but I was told that the last orders are at 1230. No amendments whatsoever.

Great little place for Breakfast, accomondates all!! Very good service and Cheap!! We had the medium size breakfast for 2, the little breakfast for 1 and Scrambled eggs with toast and tomatoes, 3x refilable coffees and one cappachino and the total came to £27.00, all were decent plates and enough to fill us all, very pleased with the food and the experience, will definetly be returning!!

Welcoming staff, beautiful decor and well laid out. Come here on a Friday early morning and was slightly empty, 10 kins wait for a heavyweight breakfast (really well cooked and decently priced). Probably the best place for a cooked breakfast in Rugby

Went in on Friday. First time I have been in there. Lovely pint of Church End goats milk. £3 a pint. Will need to try breakfast as I have heard they are good. Cannot wait until the Rattler comes in.

Had the best cooked breakfast I've had in a long time, all freshly cooked & good quality ingredients. Add the amazing value £2.60 for the flyweight it's a winner. Friday, Saturday & Sundays.

I didn't even know about this pub, but walked out of the Rupert Brooke and heard some good music. Headed in the direction and found London Calling - they had a live band playing great tunes from the Doors, to Bowie, to Blur. Great atmosphere and good priced drinks.
