Little China Willington County Durham in County Durham

A regular choice for me. Not the most impressive-looking premises and a little out of the way in a side road off Commercial St (A690) but the service is good, the lady behind the counter is cheerful and pleasant and most importantly, I've never had a poor meal from there in almost 20 years. I'm glad that it's re-opened.

Pleased order for delivery girl on the phone needs to shut up while your giving her your order after waiting for just over a hour for our food it come cold nd ordered 2 large meat spring rolls only 1 come chips cold fried rice wasnt very hot either sauces waterey never again would i order from you again phoned up nd said there was 1 i wodnt order 1if theres two people wanting them food was cold

Best Chinese around. Always consistent, never short changed, staff and delivery people are polite. North East special. I definitely recommend.

We ordered for the first time last night and I had Beef Chop Suey and a combination dish of Noodles, Onions Chips and Gravy. They were delivered in good time and were hot. The combination dish was very nice 😋 However, the Beef Chop Suey wasn't that good. It wasn't like any other one I'd had from other takeaways. It was mainly beansprouts with 5 slices of carrot cooked in a tomato/sweet and sour sauce. Not to my taste but some people may like it. My partners Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls were much better.

This was our first time ordering from here, I had the Sweet & Sour Chicken Balls which were delicious and crispy, the sauce was perfect and the chips and fried rice were lovely too 👍 My partner however had Beef Chop Suey which he really did not like at all (see his review)👎 We also got a combination dish of noodles, gravy, chips and onions which tasted really nice but there was just too many noodles and not enough chips 😕 The free spring rolls were delicious tho as were the prawn crackers.

Only ate the prawn crackers and spring rolls. Crispy beef was slimy as was the chicken in the chowmein. All very stodgey and not how a good Chinese meal should be. Sadly £20 straight in the bin. Scored 2 as the prawn crackers were free and nice. Won't use again and wouldn't recommend.

The best Chinese in county Durham. Large family happy meals are fantastic value and it means we all get what we want. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Best ever!

It's very good value the portions are huge

Normally get a hot freshly cooked colourful tasty order, we have the same dishes everytime. Tonight's order landed on the doorstep 25 mins from phoning including trsvel time. It was bland, the noodles were stodgy, the chicken in the fried rice was pale and slimey looking, the prawns had a strange taste. The prawn crackers just tasted of cooking oil. Disgusting. Texture and taste was almost that of reheat in a microwave. We couldn't eat it tonight. Disappointed is an understatement as we had been looking forward to it all day

Very tasty large portions free stuff when you dpend more

1st time we had been. Always used another local to willington. The food was more like english than chinese. All we managed to eat were the spring rolls, the prawn crackers, the mushrooms from the curry and a few spoonfulls of fried rice. The rest went in the bin. £20 and wouldnt even give it to the dogs. Would not recommend. Would not use again. Ever !! The lady was very friendly☺
