Liqui Liqui Venezuelan Deli Restaurant & Artisan Cheeses in Merton

Food: This was our first foray into Venezuelan food and it really impressed us. The flavours were consistently on point and the dishes were all flavoured extremely well. The spicy sauce that they had was also extremely spicy which was something that I highly appreciated. The fish empanadas and the trademark beef bowl were great highlights. We also were given a new dish to try out for their future menu where we had a lovely opportunity to provide some hopefully useful feedback to the restaurant in the future! Service: Really good throughout, we were also able to have good conversations with both the chef and the waitress that was there. They were really nice and easy to speak to which added to the positive vibes of the place! Atmosphere: we were the only customers there tonight, but I can imagine it being busier there on other nights! This is a lovely restaurant and If you are near or in Colliers Wood, it is not one you should miss! I would go often, if I didn't live far away.

The only thing that was disappointing was the portion sizes. For the price you would expect more for your money.

The food is consistently delicious, full of authentic flavor, and made with care—big shoutout to Ryan and the kitchen team for always delivering top-tier taste every single time. The service is just as amazing—Erika, Mary, and Priya always greet me with warmth, kindness, and genuine smiles that make me feel right at home. I’m always happy to come back, and I leave with a full belly and a big smile. Highly recommended to anyone who loves great food and even better service!

The bright colours and upbeat music greets you as you walk in. Both our servers today were incredibly friendly and upbeat. When asked for advice over particular dishes they seemed informed and passionate about the food. As for the food itself 🤤 food was fresh and hot. All items were generously sized and they do not skimp on flavour. Having fell in love with authentic Venezuelan food ( thanks to really good neighbours) back in 2022 during pregnancy cravings, it was a pleasure to find this restaurant. *Order the sweetcorn and cheese finger starters *The liqui liqui sauce is perfection *Fried plantain is always a win

Went for lunch on a Friday following recommendation from a Venezuelan friend. The food was amazing and the owner gave us so many recommendations of what to try. She was so lovely and an absolute delight to chat with. Highly recommend the tequenos, empanadas and arepas. An absolute must try!

Was honestly such an amazing meal for me and my whole family. We were a table of 8 and Erika was so accommodating and welcoming and just brought the vibes. Delicious and different! A fabulous hidden gem tucked away in Colliers Wood. The signature cocktail was a unique treat. Liqui Liqui is a MUST visit!

Always pop in without fail when passing to have the best cup of coffee in the area. The staff are friendly and always have time ( if possible ) for a chat. Sadly haven't yet tried the food but hopefully when time allows will definitely try out some of the Venezuelan meals and snacks.

Had the pabellon criollo. The food was outstanding. Service brilliant and everyone there very friendly. Even the salsa picante or hot sauce was delicious. It’s rare to get food with this much character anywhere! The venezualan beer (polar) was also very nice!

The food was really good. Specially the empanadas and the guasaca sauce were in another level and the service was exceptional and very attentive.

I went here with my brother on a Saturday night and had a brilliant time. This was my first introduction to Venezuelan food and I was blown away. Erica, the owner, is a shining example of what a host should be and couldn't have been more welcoming to me and my brother. I’ve been to Liqui Liqui a few times now and I must say I can’t recommend it enough. The decor and design is perfect and full of life and matched with some authentic Venezuelan food no different to what you would find in Venezuela. The food is incredibly delicious and fresh which normally would be enough of a reason for coming. However, on top of the already outstanding food and atmosphere, the thing I love the most about this place is the service from the staff and especially the owner. The Venezuelan hospitality couldn’t be more present here. It feels as if a friend has invited you into their home to chat whilst they also make you one of the greatest meals you’ll ever eat. There are very few restaurants that have this very special quality and I wish nothing but success for this business. If you’re seeking the best Venezuelan food in London (and probably the UK) with the most warm welcoming then this is the place. I recommend the pabellón in particular. Thank you very much Liqui Liqui I could have stayed chatting for even longer but unfortunately made plans.

One of the other gems making the Colliers Wood high street a cave of treasure for food. I recommend the house cocktail…the best in the world tbh!!

My friend and I wanted to try something new, and we saw this place and were intrigued as we'd never eaten Venezuelan food before. We didn't regret it at all as it was perfect! The food was of great quality and was served quickly, and the staff were all exceptionally friendly and polite. The decor was colourful and tasteful, and the music created a really welcoming and warm ambience/atmosphere. If you're in the area Liqui Liqui is a must-visit!

It's a little piece of Venezuela in London. LiquiLiqui offers a variety of traditional Venezuelan dishes. The food is delicious, you can tell that they prepare it with great care and passion. The service is simply beautiful, familiar and very welcoming. Erika and Vanessa make you feel at home. I highly recommend it.

What a lovely little place. We just had appetizers and drinks but they were all wonderful and as good as I have had in South America. Give them a go!!

I don’t know how they got the 4,8, no recommend in my opinion, there’s better latin restaurants in london, dried arepas, watering feeling, to high in price two arepas and one drink for £36 and the arepas are to small, sorry

Very glad to have found this place. I love overseas recipe's. The hibiscus tea with honey is sensational. Tajadas which is plantain essentially was very fatening but lovely, even with the velzualian cheese layered. The pictures and artwork from your homeland is worth taking in. It may make you wany to visit south america for a holiday.

Liqui Liqui is the best restaurant in London where you can eat Venezuelan food. The food is delicious! I LOVE the empanadas, tequeños, arepas, cachapas and the Pabellon Criollo. It is so hard to choose from so many yummy dishes that I always leave the place wishing I would have a bigger stomach to fit it all in. The service is second to none; Erika and Mary always make you feel like you are at home. Always smiling! Even for a quick coffee, Liqui Liqui would not disappoint you. Best coffee in the area.

Spotted this lovely cafe while out cycling along the Wandle Trail. Tasty empañadas with spicy sauce and a bottle of Maltín went down a treat. Really friendly and welcoming.

I've ordered a couple or Arepas online, and I have to say I was pretty impressed. The Arepa was nice and crispy, all the ingredients fresh and tasty. Very authentic. On another note I would say prices are way too high. The arepas are tiny and way overpriced at 15+ quid. It still deserves 5 stars on taste only, cos it's truly delicious. But one arepa won't fill you up for sure.

My experience at Liqui Liqui: From the moment I entered I felt at home, the place, the music, its decoration, simply everything, it is a little piece of Venezuela in London, Vanessa attended us very kind and friendly. The food, God the food is simply authentic Venezuelan food (our authentic flavor) if like the one your mother, your aunt or your grandmother prepares, tradition and care. We ordered a seven potencies, which is great for two people, and we finished them and ordered another one again because it was delicious: tequeños, tostones, empanadas, arepas, and much more, bite by bite, they reminded me of each of the cities where I grew up. study or walk (Caracas, La Guaira, Margarita Island, Higuerote, Merida, Ciudad Bolívar and stop counting). Simply thank you very much for taking me back to my memories, my children and youth in our beautiful Venezuela. 100% recommended and don't stop eating tres leches, it's a slow death.

I always love going there to eat and buy frozen Venezuelan food

For my first impressions this place looked and felt great and authentic. The owner was lovely and relatable, she explained to me and my mother the dishes as it was our first time and it definitely won’t be our last. We had sour sop juice with “REINA PEPIADA” I enjoyed it. Oh, and we received a complimentary guava treat wrapped in a banana leaf, very tasty loved it.

The rice pudding millk shake is delicious and unbeatable.The tostones are really nice too it's a neck neck.it's doubtless my personal recommendation. Also, the stuff is so lovely.I'm coming back soon for sure.. Thanks a lot for your excellent customer service.

Came here to buy my Venezuelan friend some Venezuelan treats as he is far away from anywhere to get anything like that. Ended up having lunch which was delicious, also other customers in there were chatty and friendly. The staff were also amazing and helped me pick the right things for my friend! Great find!

I was a chef in a Japanese restaurant witch was in the top 5. (Kurobuta) that Venezuelan kitchen is that level super tasty. You discover a lot with their creations. So many new fantastic taste! Shure that will be packed soon! Just because they doing well!

I was Introduced to it by a friend raving about their empanadas, I took a bite and instantly agreed—they’re truly to die for!The atmosphere, with its summer-inspired decor and music, transports you to a bar in a beach in Venezuela. The menu strikes the perfect balance, offering variety without being overwhelming. They also have fantastic veggie and vegan choices. The friendly, attentive service adds a personal touch, making it feel like a home-cooked meal at your grandma’s. While the service might be a tad bit slower, it’s justified as they take time to engage with each guest and prepare everything from scratch. Worth the wait for a delicious experience! Ps- please, please try the 3 leches dessert- it’s divine 😋

I’ve heard of Liqui Liqui before, followed them on Instagram but never been. I have tried other Venezuelan places in London and this is by far the most authentic as well as tasty. Erika was incredible and made us feel at home. I don’t live close but I’m willing to bring more friends in the future to have the experience. Order the tostones playeros, los tequeños, empanadas and papelon con limón. You will not regret it! For dessert, tres leches is a must!

WOW. We came here with high expectations (from social media), and it met them! The service was incredible, they were so passionate about the food. My attached photo is a sharer. It was £38 and enough for two. Some options had meat in, but they were able to make the entire dish vegetarian for us. If you're thinking about visiting, do it!!!

I went to Liqui Liqui on Saturday night with my Venezuelan friend. Oh my goodness - the food is absolutely delicious, the people are lovely, and the decor/atmosphere is great. The next morning, I was already making an order for delivery. I'm hooked. I have a feeling this place is going to part me with a lot of my money :D

Such a lovely place, vibrant with all the decoration details that make you feel like you are in Latin America, in addition to super friendly and fresh service. Of course with all the delicious dishes typical of that region.

The best Venezuelan Ponche de crema and homemade tequeños are here!! We had this place on our must do list in London and it was definitely worth it... the food was delicious (I really wanted to continue eating without stopping...) We ordered a portion of tequeños ( which are made by Ryan, the owner ) as a starter with guasacaca and a spicy mango house sauce, it was super delicious, for the main we ordered a pulled pork Cachapa (my god how flavorful that pork was) and plantain nachos with shredded beef, I personally like loaded food so I ordered an extra of black beans and avocado. When I finished, I thought I could eat a little more and the truth is that if I ordered anything else I was going to explode haha ​​because I was so full after that. Between the food and the good vibes of all the staff, specially Erika & Ryan, I'm going to return and have more round here as their food is a true traditional Venezuelan flavour! The atmosphere was wonderful, I felt at home, everyone was so kind and charming. I really do really recommend them because as soon as you walk in, that lovely smell of food it going to make you eat all dishes !!! Btw I can’t wait to try the menu for Christmas 🙊

I wanted to make a reservation as it's 5 tables in total...but they did not answer. We arrived there and the guy told us that we had to eat fast cos it was fully booked (for obvious reasons..). We order a 36pounds course which was supposed to be' for 3 people...but they brought us a ridiculous starter plate that was not even for 1 person. They also forgot to bring us our drinks..so we ate without drinks. We asked for some rice for my son and they brought us a toy casserole of rice that is ok maybe for a bird... Never again.

Have been here 3 times and it’s great with or without kids. Overall space is a bit tight but we’ve never had to wait for a table; service is very good.

Amazing! Beautiful authentic Venezuelan restaurant with extensive options catering for vegetarians, vegans, gluten free. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, we'll definitely be back. We are vegetarian and had loads of choices. I'd highly recommend the cachapas.

I definitely recommend you go there if you want a real taste of Venezuela and Latin American food. You could tell all the ingredients were fresh. Mango milkshake was great, as was the dishes we had (which were all explained to us by the wonderful wait staff)

I went for lunch. Very tasty food. The owner is very nice lady. Unfortunately they were packing something in the background and was quite noisy. A little pricey, a nice treat.

First time trying Venezuelan food and it is absolutely delicious, fresh and so full of flavour, actual flavour and not full of overpowering chillis as so often the case with South American foods. Lovely friendly owners who'll explain things to you if you don't understand and the menu. It is on the pricey side, but as a treat once in a while is most definitely worth it. Highly recommended, again absolutely delicious.
