Visited this deli at 14:15 pm to purchase a few sandwiches for a late lunch. I walked into a frosty reception as the chap in there was eating out the back and it was obvious he didn’t want to deal with me at all. I hardly finished the first order of a fried egg, cheese, tomato sandwich, I was told the order was too complicated. I then told the chap I was going back to my car to check to see if my husband wanted a fried or boiled egg in the sandwich. When I returned after seconds, the chap had locked the door. He approached the door and said my order was too complicated and that he was closed. Why people have businesses if they can’t be bothered to serve ALL people and serve the public well is beyond me. The chap is extremely rude and unprofessional. Will not be returning, however, I’m sure the owner won’t mind as I didn’t feel welcomed in the first instance. Never have I been treated so badly by a business.

Owner is very friendly & really helpful. Many a time I have run down to grab some pasta and he’s given me great recommendations. Their sausage rolls are also very tasty

The best espresso every morning

Calls itself a bakery and they do sandwiches and coffee (I've not tried; the bread is decent) but the real speciality is wine. I believe they make regular buying trips to Italy - you'll find wines here you won't get elsewhere. Proper friendly local business, some dry Italian goods like flours and pastas. Highly recommended, especially for a decent bottle.

Delicious fresh bread, pastries and doughnuts. Good food and nice people. We have their food delivered regularly. It’s kept us going through lockdown.

The best sandwiches and Italian bread. I have a dairy intolerance and the guy making my sandwich was really thoughtful, replacing butter with olive oil and mozzarella with egg. Thank you, will be back often.
