Lilycroft Fisheries in Bradford

So I placed my order Chicken Donner & chips , Donner meat & chips The chicken was southern fried just cut up into small pieces not nice at all as for the Donner meat their was non just chips the young lad behind the counter the chubby one didn't pay any attention to my other it looked like he had the right monk on I used to go to this place a while back for food, food was half decent not now

Old fish and chips. Cold. Chips were re fried absolutely disgusting

Best place on lillycroft road. Very much recommended when it comes to takeaway food.fish and chips,pizzas,chicken chips. Chapal kebabs, and various Varieties of food on Competitive prices. Dont forget to try chicken donner on nan. ❤️❤️❤️

I bought food from there, only to discover it was mouldy. When I returned to the store and showed the mould to the staff, the person I spoke to was incredibly rude. Not only did they refuse to give me a refund, but they also threw the food in the bin without even addressing the issue (the mould). This level of customer service is unacceptable. I won't be returning and strongly advise others to avoid this place!! I was told this green mould was masala 🤣🤣 See picture for reference!!!!!

Recently food been really good, orderd a lilycroft special with extra donner and chips was really nice.

Great food at an unbeatable price I always get my donner kebabs here I can't find anywhere else that does them this good.

Fish & chips good sized portion. But oily and greasy. Requires a big improvement.

Order masal fish on naan, every so often. It is really nice. I highly recommend it. Also had Chaplin kebab on chips, and that was a bit spicy,but nice

Vile staff, vile service. Looks very unclean inside. Staff uniforms are disgusting as they haven't been washed for a few decades. They love to add on orders you haven't placed, then have the audacity to say you ordered it and get angry and throw their dummy out of the pram when you challenge them. They don't serve Haddock only Silver Catfish (Vietnamese Pangasius) Avoid this place like the plague. Their food is not fit for swines. Go to Lister Fisheries a few doors on instead.

Had family over got masala fish on naat and chicken donner was delicious highly recommended

Just ordered today 10pm food was absolutely rubbish went in the bin. Chicken was old and off. Chips was cold and old. Donner meat was old chips was old. Avoid please

The chicken was raw and all pink the chips were also uncooked. In the wrapping i was shocked to discover that there was a fistfull of hair wrapped in tissue placed inside the packaging of my box🤮🤮😡 never again do not recommend

avoid visiting here. They state “haddock” however it was pangasuis aka panga fish. Why deceive customers? Apparently the best masala fish on naan in Bradford (is this some sort of joke?

Fish Masala in naan (must have!) , Kabadar in naan (highly recommended) and fish & chips (delicious) are our favourite, others on menu are good too.

Stopped by to pick up some chip's nice Luke warm would have preferred to be fresh piping hot. Better luck next time

Ordered masala fish Nan . Asked if they do grilled fish . We do both says staff at counter . The tray in which it was served was adequate size , but there was more onions than fish . Fish was not haddock or cod as stated in posted up in the window . Disappointed. Not recommended as their quality varies and ussually substandard . Avoid

Hello, the store has parking on the main road but it get busy very quickly. The shop has big door but you would need help to get a baby buggy or wheel chair in. The store has no seat at the moment but the food is excellent. The staff are helpful and make the food fresh as possible. Food here is normal fish and chips to spice grill fish to burgers, chicken, lame, wrap and many other fast food. They some thing which they could improve on and price are good but bit high. Would give this 5 Stars but due to Brexit and price rise by Torys , this has lost them 1 star, sorry. Hope this helps

Avoid at all costs! Was served fish n chips and they threw in a free chicken leg, i went around closing time the chips were hard as rock! The chicken tasted like it was dipped in bleach! Rubbish! Going back to MOTHER HUBBARDS!

They served refried chicken and I could taste of fish. Won't be going there again

I remember the chicken donner on naan being really nice, but was incredibly disappointed upon bringing it home today. The chicken tasted a day old and not that fresh it was like they gave leftovers. Not to mention the naan was soaked in so much sauce that an Olympic swimmer could drown inside it. It literally stuck to the paper it was wrapped in.

The best masala fish on naan! I request for it all to be packed separately for my takeaway so you don't find you've got a soggy naan.

Need better customer service, either have kids or mangies working there, one of the freshy till workers always looking smug and lacks 0 customer service skills and acts like he pays your wage 😂

Only visited out of old memories, once upon a time Lister Fisheries was good quality. This time, the fish was too skinny. Batter was okay, but it didn't taste fresh. I am marking down for size of fish, weak taste of fish and poor presentation. Fish could have been bigger and chunkier, the oil they use could've been cleaner for fresher taste. The rival MH also chuck in a few chips when you order just fish. I am generous with 3/5, probably out of memories 20 years ago. No photos, the disappointment was too great. Especially in Ramadan.

Alhamdulillah delicious food.. Just has the edge over leeds road fisheries.. Masala fish on naan and chicke donner on naan is the best.. Only 2 things ive always got and never disappointed me.. Salad can be improved a bit as its mainly cabbage but in love with this place for past few months

Fish and chips are nice mist of the time but sometimes it tastes rubbery and there is no batter on parts of the fish.

The chicken nann is just plain and simply the best iv had. All fresh made I live in Leeds but come out of my way for this place. Have tried almost everything they do and had absolutely nothing I don't like. Staff polite and forever washing hands and cleaning down. EVEN Before all this covid rubbish. 10 out of 10 boys keep it up and ill keep coming

Quantity over quality. Over priced single pizzas, ordered a 12" deep pan however was more like a thin base. Chicken topping tasted like leftover chicken donner garnished in spices. Staff could do with adhering to food an hygiene procedures. Quality needs to be balanced with quantity.

Poor service like reknowed shop no plates been given.Told we have to purchase sauces as well. We picked up the salt from the counter said it is not for here it is only for counter. I dont recommend anyone. Really disappointed

Absolutely disgusting and rude staff which have no care for customers. They act like we are not paying for our food but instead accepting handouts. The staff wear no gloves or aprons while preparing food and pick up food that has fallen on the floor and give it to customers. Their clothes look like they haven't been washed for a few weeks. One staff member started arguing with customers. I will be letting everyone I know to not even go within 5 miles of this horrid place.
