Leziza in Leeds

Fast and friendly service. Good portion sizes. Unfortunately the food was just a bit bland. Got the chicken madras and honestly it tasted like it came out the jar. I was hoping for something a bit more flavourful and homemade tasting.

The chicken tikka roll is not what one expect. Basically it is not tikka and just some boiled chicken with no spices. Will not recommend it unfortunately.

My lunch order was 1 chicken tikka meal and kebab meal the taste was so delicious and the portion is perfect for 1 person for each meal. The restaurant staff are friendly. I strongly recommend it and I’m sure you will addict eating here. This restaurant is hidden gem in the town.

Pictures are after we had to add sauce from Vietnamese place opposite. Dry chicken not tikka - tandoori wings were just straight from packet (saw) not spicy and fried. Ridiculous. The wrap was not edible unless you're a child who likes dry and no flavour so we binned and ordered a delicious Vietnamese.

I've been encouraging my son to eat a more varied diet than just chicken nuggets and chips, pizza, and pork pies. So we've been trying different places around Leeds to introduce him to different types of food. This week we went to Leziza Curry House in Leeds Kirkgate market. We had their chicken tikka wrap meal with chips and a drink for £7. Price wise, this meal deal is well worth it. The wrap is easily double the size of a McDonald's wrap and the chips are freshly cooked and they give you plenty. The service is good and the staff friendly. My son says he likes it "thumbs up"😎

Last week I ordered a biriyani (£4) and it was very tasty and a great sized portion. This week I had a lamb karahi (£7) and it was wonderful. One meal of meat and sura, another of steaming rice. Excellent food, amazing value.

Ordered a Seekh kebab which wasn't even made out of meat. Bland and tasteless food, opposite of what Indian food should be. Wanted to charge 30p for just a simple takeaway container to portion out some rice for a child. See you never!

Absolutely pathetic food which was uncooked. When I asked the owner about it he refused to address the issue at all. I wonder how this place goes unnoticed by the food standards regulator.

Lovely pit stop on cold day here in Leeds. Halal menu 🤗🤩 ordered samosa and onion bhaji with chips. Enough for quick meal. Counters clean and signs clear to read

I asked for one vegetable samosa and three meat samosas including onion bajias which were sold one each for one pound usually it's a portion from other places. The guy who served me was more interested in asking where I was from them my order it's what asian people do am asian. The guy and the other guy who finished my order messed it up. I got four vegetable samosas not one and three meat. The onion bajias were hard as rock outside and not cooked properly inside super soft.

It tastes authentic!! Will definitely go back!

Today I went to Leeds market and went to leziza and I tried chicken masala with rice. The food was very tasty and the different spice give it an unique taste which was beautiful. After I had a mango lassi which was so fresh and delicious mango taste. Definitely recommend it. 😋😋😋

Curries £4-7 Wraps £4 or 6 as a meal including chips and a drink Snacks - onion bhaji, samosa or spicy wings £5-£7 Kids meals for £5 Soda, cardamom tea, slush, water, mango lassi for £1-2. Good quick food. We had the chicken fillet meal + chicken masala with rice plus an absolutely rubbish piece of chapati that's just a wholegrain supermarket standard wrap. Honestly apart from the chapati everything was fine

Worst place to eat my chicken biryani came freezing not very nice just a quick microwave meal told him my food was cold and he just warmed it up in microwave never eat here again don't waste your money I left mine on the table if rate my takeaway went here he would give it a 1 because not even worth a 1 star

Ordered a chicken biryani, i asked if it comes with a drink and he started to laugh..??? asked for a little bit of onions and he said its £2 extra. £2 for a bit of onions??? Would give a 0 if i could cos of customer service. Take a course for customer service skills is what i recommend. Would NOT recommend

Really delicious freshly prepared meals. Friendly stuff members. I had the chicken tikka wrap, enjoyed it. The only negative I can say is that my wrap had more onion than chicken and lettuce combined.

Never seen such a friendly and welcoming staff. Every visit of ours was warmly greeted by the staff. Coming to food I tried the best varieties Chicken Curry with Rice and a special chicken Biryani dish, I also got Mango Lessi. After finding this place, it sort of became our regular go to place in Leeds City Market. Definitely give this place a try.👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Great Curry house in the heart of Kirkgate Market, 5 minute's walk from Leeds train station. Chicken curry, I tried, was fantastic and their comms are great. Food is also Halal if you are after that option. You can either dine in or take away, whatever suits your needs. They have a nice menue with plenty of options to choose from.
