This is the best Indian food bar far. The onion barges are just to die for (as long as they are not burnt 🙈) I am funny with quite a few ingredients 🙈 The afghani curry tonight was to die for...absolutely perfect! I had to ring straight after putting the order in, just to see if the peppers and onion could be taken out. I explained, I love the sauce with just a bit of chicken....OMG! Perfection for me! Curries have changed so much from the 90's till now 🙄 Thank you so much to the gentleman who answered the phone...and mostly the Chef. Fantastic. Thank you. Kings Park 🙌👍

The food from here is by far one of the best Indians I’ve ever had . The chicken tikka Massala was so nice and sweet and was amazing . Really Fast delivery . Would definitely order again and would recommend to a freinds

It's changed name ,and must have changed chef ,as mumbai kitchen it was superb ,sorry but just another indian now ,just spent £35 on food ,order missing item ,food nowhere near as good as it used to be ,won't be ordering again 🤔

Ordered lamb tikka balti,found it to be very salty and the lamb was quite tough and fatty. Rice was nice garlic & onion. Delivery only 30 mins. The lamb jalfrezi not as tough but still quite salty.

Great food love treating myself to a decent curry

The food was delicious, and I have even ordered from here for my Christmas meal on several occasions. The staff members were very helpful and friendly, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I would highly recommend Mumbai Kitchen for anyone in the Leigh area looking for some delicious Indian food. The combination of tasty food and great service makes this takeaway stand out, and I will definitely be returning in the future.

Ordered via their website, which said 2hr delivery. It turned up bang on 2hrs, but unfortunately it wasn’t worth the wait. The mixed starter was dry and the meat rubbery. The lamb biryani was nice, the chicken in the chicken tikka biryani was ok but the chicken was cut so small it blended in with the rice. Sadly won’t be ordering again

Great food, just wish you did prawns or lamb dishes, thats the only let down, otherwise outstanding

Used them for a few times never had a complaint so ordered for Christmas Day, it was ready for the exact time agreed and no more cost than usual. The food was absolutely beautiful as it always it and the staff are just fantastic. The best Indian in Leigh hands down. Won’t go anywhere else now.

Didn't like my food, what can I say.

Keep away from this place I’ve just got a kebab and chips wow… chips have been re cooked at least 3 times stale dirty hard and black chips the kebab was just laced in tandoori sauce what a waste of £15 🤮🤮🤢 I’m trying to upload a picture so you can see what they have sent me

Mainly online and thats the way i usually order. This time i went to the takeaway and asked for a memu. No menu. Its online. After some discussion as to what i like, i ordered a south indian garlic chicken. A good curry with very good consistency. Vegetable rice nicely done. And chips to boot. Good alround meal quickly sorted. Deffo returning. Its a good one.

Was ok. Expensive for what have at my usual Indian takeaway....

Onions and peppers not cooked properly pieces of chiken tikka tiny curry sauce looked like baby food not worth the money at all disapointed after reading all the great reviews thought it would be good

Ordered a takeaway from Mumbai kitchen. Took 1 1/2 hours to arrive. Onion Bahjis were rock hard and very burnt. Bombay Aloo was just potatoes with hardly any sauce. Did complain and was offered 15% off next order but will not be using this take away again.Very disappointing.

Ordered from Mr D. Lamb Korma with Naan arrived without the Naan bread. The korma had 6 of the smallest pieces of lamb in it (lamb for ants?!). I've been disappointed by them before and thought it might have been a once off.

Had Food from here for past 4/5 weeks now cause our favorite Indian was closed, when our favorite opened back up we compared the two and Mumbai comes out tops, great food and prompt delivery recommended 👌 keep on with the good work guys 👍

Loved this place as they do good food and used to have reliable delivery. Until tonight, where their app said 2 hours to deliver. After messing about with a useless 'Live chat' I ended up phoning to cancel, no apology.

Ok so we’ve had a shocker of a week so I decided to treat my lovley hubby to one of the great big kebab in a box thing grand master kebab I think it was well when it arrived I was blown away I have honestly never seen or tasted anything quite so wonderful from the fluffy nann bread to the delicious mix of meats and salad it was all to die for with enough chips to feed the street iv heard people talk of this fantastic place and now I have tried it I’m sure I will become a regular already developed a taste for a Lovley curry on Saturday night so well done you little kebab kings absolutely top food and by the way the delivary guy was one of the most smiley people iv ever met he was practically beaming ... a fantastic way to start a Mumbai kitchen experience I will of course be ordering again soon and recommending it to any one asks 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😁 loving your work 😘

Fantastic food at reasonable prices. They also have there own app so you can order direct with them and not a 3rd party. No other place in the area comes close for me.

Have got to say we as a family of 3 tryd the grandmaster kebab and it was absolutely gorgeous. The meat was cooked lovely everything was fresh and presented beautifully. The staff are extremely friendly and very welcoming

Our favourite Indian take away by far. We've been using Mumbai kitchen regularly since day 1.and we wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. Quality food and an extensive menu, super delivery and the food is always piping hot. Top class.

Great food and set meal is great value for money, Personally i would prefer 1 chips 1 rice however as 1 rice often gets wasted 👍

Ordered from Mumbai kitchen a couple of weeks ago, after me and partner had a bad day. The food was lovely and perked us both us, partner had a kebab and I a curry and sides, I still had some leftovers for my lunch the next day 😊

Never had a bad meal from this place. Can often be a bit of a wait but I see that as a positive, it's so busy because it's so good! Wouldn't go anywhere else in Leigh for an Indian. Shame they don't have an eat in restaurant.

This place is a FABULOUS five star establishment! I ordered here out of curiosity a while back and have never ordered an Indian from anywhere else since. Hooked! The food arrives fresh, presented beautifully and still very hot. My favourite is a classic that they always seem to go the extra mile with to make it their own, with fresh herbs on top etc The wait time isn't a problem either as it's similar to most restaurants, and they always keep the customer informed always if it's any different. I love how friendly the staff are and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone!

Ordered a set meal for one and asked to change my curry as I don't like tikka masala , when my meal arrived it had tikka masala in the bag . I rang the shop and they lied saying I can't change my curry on the set meal which is a lie due to us changing our Curry's at Mumbai several times in the past , so I had to keep my tikka masala which I don't like so it got thrown away . So they are trying to tell me that unless you like tikka masala.you are unable to get a set meal for one ? They are lies in my eyes , I will never be returning to this Indian again

Not had a curry for honestly 2 years. After getting this on takeaway for my daughter and grandaughter as a treat... Its a lot to answer for. No spice no nothing and bland, I can only taste the dry cucumber out the salad. Step up

We have ordered a few times from this restaraunt/ takeaway, The service from start to finish is impeccable,it's so difficult to find such quality these days ,so I'd like to recommend them to everyone thinking about ordering Indian food,it's simply the best, we got a free bottle of red wine too which you don't get from anywhere else,thank you to all who work and the delivery driver was polite and quick,however the last meal we ordered was poor no salad on the Mumbai stir fry wraps and portions were basic disappointed this time will think twice before ordering again cos it ain't cheap

Doner Kebabs from here are a rare breed. Very tasty, made.differently to anything else I have tasted within 10 miles. Deffo worth a punt.

Hidden away off the main streets of Leigh, is a gem of an Indian takeaway. They don't worry about needing to be seen on a main street. They know genuine curry lovers have got to know them from recommendations, because the food is absolutely top rate. Ask a question about something on the menu you have never tried, and they take time to not only tell you what it is, but how it is made, and what to expect from the taste. Give them a go, you will not be disappointed.
