An amazing old-fashioned bar in a beautiful hotel!

I came here as the reviews and ratings were good, however, the cocktails were okay but the service was disappointing. At £25 per drink, I expected a little more from the staff when I asked for a quirky and unusual recommendation from the list rather than to just say, ‘it’s on the menu’, which was a rude and unhelpful response. It also took awhile to get their attention to order and pay the bill, especially given that it wasn’t that busy. As an avid cocktail drinker, there are better cocktails and service else where, this is not one I would recommend.

I would like to commend Antonino Lo Iacono, the Food and Beverage Manager at The Beaumont, for his exceptional professionalism and dedication to delivering an outstanding experience for guests. During our conversation, he shared valuable insights into the challenges of meeting all guests’ expectations given the space limitations, yet he demonstrated remarkable willingness and flexibility to assist. His words were not just promises; they were reflected in the impeccable service I received, marked by attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Antonino’s leadership and genuine hospitality truly stand out, making every guest feel valued and cared for. Thank you, Antonino, for your efforts in making a stay at The Beaumont truly unforgettable.

We sampled the lunch menu at Le Magritte bar in the beautiful Art Deco Beaumont Hotel. We had fabulous British tuna, Prawn cocktails and oysters. Then, we followed up with executive chef Michael Turner's Beef Wellington, which was exceptional. A great lunch in this must visit bar.

Lovely elegant atmosphere in the heart of London

Lovely bar. Makes a great dirty martini. It's small and better suited for a couple of people or 4 people. Nice atmosphere and lovely staff.

We went a couple of friends recently and the choice could not have been better, excellent atmosphere and service but especially the cocktails and the attention of Giovanni, Grazie!!

Came here for some birthday drinks. Drinks were lovely, atmosphere was quiet yet nice and welcoming. Lovely dim intimate decor. Antolino overheard my tables conversation mentioning my birthday, and to our surprise brought a dessert. Truly thoughtful, I was very thankful. A worthwhile visit!

I recently visited Magritte cocktail bar in London and was disappointed with the overall experience. The cocktails were overpriced for their quality, and the waiter seemed unprepared, unable to recommend a suitable sour cocktail when asked. Additionally, the customary accompanying water was not served before the cocktails, and there was no follow-up to inquire about our satisfaction or offer replacements if the drink wasn't to our liking. This lack of attention to customer service and the overall experience was disappointing, and I hope the establishment takes steps to improve.

Possibly my favourite cocktail bar in London. Situated inside the Beaumont which also serves great afternoon tea, this place is tiny yet extremely cozy. Atmosphere was spectacular, the dim lights set the mood along with the soft jazz playing. You are also surrounded by beautiful paintings. Drinks tasted wonderful but do keep in mind that you should expect to pay at least £20 for a drink.

Lovely little bar with good cocktails

A perfect hotel bar. Old school vibes in a charming setting. Undoubtedly expensive, but that is to be expected in a 5 star hotel in this area. Lovely for a little tipple after work or after a day of shopping! Make sure you try their bar snacks too. Delicious!

Love this place. Magritte art work on the walls alongside black and white pictures of the Rat Pack and others. Great service and drinks.

Lovely little bar, great cocktails and atmosphere, excellent terrace and decent cigar selection. Very friendly service, reasonable prices, and a comfortable vibe - feels rather like drinks at a friend’s place. Enjoy the cocktail-art pairings - rather unique idea.

It's great to see the outside terrace at The Beaumont proving such a success, especially as the expansion and renovations continue at pace inside. Regardless of how a hotel looks and the various surroundings they offer, the most important thing in any hospitality venue is the staff. Always fantastic drinks too.

What a nice bar, whispers luxury without being too pretentious. Classic cocktails were just exquisite and the ricotta truffle pizza was dreamy!!

Really nice cocktails and ambience. The waitress was a bit stuck up, analysed us from head to toe as we came in and we didn’t receive the best welcome but this didn’t stain our experience

Great ambience, a refined art deco bar. We tried several different cocktails and they were all exactly as desired, the Memory of a Journey 1955 was perfect.

Had a lovely cocktail sitting in the lobby: the bar was full. Staff is nice and the lobby was comfortable to sit in. Bear in mind, this is an expensive place but service and quality are in point. £84 for two glasses of wine, two cocktails and service charge.

We enjoyed early evening cocktails at the Beaumont's Le Magritte Bar one Saturday before Christmas. The Beaumont is very friendly and welcoming – the staff were lovely and always smiling. We sat in the foyer outside the Magritte Bar - it was very comfortable, with a nice atmosphere. Although it was busy, with plenty of other guests around, the sound level wasn’t too loud, which was just right for pleasant and easy conversation. Well recommended.

Excellent spot tucked away nr Bond St tube. Pricy cocktails but well worth it. High end hotel bar.

Cute bar with a great drinks selection

Had a lovely experience here. He staff are so friendly and astoundingly attentive. Before you look up to order they’re already there! Drinks are nice too, interiors are lovely. We went on a Saturday evening and there was live music.

For Art Deco lovers and film location scouts. Great place to while away some time to avoid London's rain

Nice ambience. Good cocktails. Very nice wine. A touch on the expensive side but that's to be expected in Mayfair. Loos are in excellent condition.

Beautifully made cocktails in a gorgeous Art Deco bar...even the toilets are stunning. The cocktails are very strong ..but at £16 each, it better be.

What a great surprise! A small hotel bar with a big collection of black-and-white 1920s celebrity photos, old school cocktails and attentive service. Nailed our old fashion, Americano, and Boulevadiers! And the pies on the other tables smelled good too. Will definitely go again

Beautiful decor and excellent selection. Prices are higher than the norm but the ambience is worth the extra pounds. The service is friendly and pleasing!

Oh my! This is a wonderful find hidden away in the Beaumont Hotel. It's reminiscent of a 1920s "speak easy" and is just a delight. It has an extensive drinks menu too. Recommended.
