Absolutely fantastic mediterranean food and atmosphere . Love the live music and staff are very friendly . The hot meze plates are my favourites …always delicious deserts too . Thank you for always being fantastic Yusuf and Numan .

We had a Christmas dinner at Laz Camden, and everything was truly excellent. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. The staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and made the evening even more enjoyable. The mezzes were amazing—definitely a must-try! The börek and kuru dolma were absolutely delightful, and the pideli köfte was cooked to perfection. Portions were generous, and every dish was full of flavor. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I highly recommend it!

The food was overpriced, tasteless and just horrible! This was the mixed chicken shish.The salad had no seasoning! I had to ask for lemon, salt and pepper! The chilli sauce was ketchup . The owner was abrasive and impatient to just take the order and rush us out when we finished. What a disappointing Christmas dinner. I rate it as the worse food and service ever and would advise you to not go there.

Normally I would give 1 star, but I didn't because it's a Turkish place. For a medium quality restaurant, those prices are too high and the portions are really very small. Delicious and beautiful. Meatballs were very good.

Dining at Laz@Camden was an exquisite experience! The food was elegant, with generous portions that delighted the palate, and the raki selection was impressive. The live music and vibrant atmosphere made me feel as if I had been transported back to the charming pre- or early-Erdogan era of Istanbul—an era to die for. One small suggestion: I’d love to see more Turkish-origin wine options on the menu to perfectly complement the fantastic culinary offerings. Overall, a memorable night that I can’t wait to experience again! And to those who don’t get it—ignore the haters, this place is a true gem!

I just enjoyed a delicious kunefe at Laz Camden, the best Turkish and Mediterranean restaurant in Camden! With constantly refreshed tea, studying here in such a lovely atmosphere is a true pleasure. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Treat yourself to Turkish raki from their extensive bar – it’s the perfect way to indulge!

I recently dined at Laz Camden and overall, the experience was gorgeous. The waitress who served was very sweet. Her name is Ayşe. I can say that it changed the atmosphere and the taste of the food in a good way. Please ask her before you order!

Amazing! Couldn’t recommend more… date or family this place caters to all!! Sat outside people watching in Camden with a lovely glass of wine. Dined inside had 5 of their small plates between 2 was more than filling every dish was a delight! The wine is exceptional and service is 10/10 Value for cost/ experience 10/10

I called to check availability, and although I was told there was none, I later received an email confirming my reservation. Now, I’ve been informed that my table has been canceled because other guests want to stay longer. This is very disappointing, especially since it was for a birthday celebration. The last-minute notice makes it difficult for us to find another option and very unprofessional on your end, ruining peoples birthday plans after you have confirmed booking?

DISGRACEFUL MANAGEMENT!! I called a day in advance asking for a reservation and was told they are fully booked. I also sent an email to double check and they responded saying they have an availability for 8:30pm. I called in the morning of the reservation to double check and they confirmed it was all good and they were expecting us around 8pm. Later on during the day they called and said “another customer called and changed their reservation so we won’t be able to host you tonight”. This is absolutely ridiculous, we were gong to celebrate my birthday tonight and they ruined it. If you don’t have availability or you are not sure DO NOT give booking to other customers. I should not be telling you how to manage your bookings . The guy on the phone was taking the absolute mick. Really disappointed!

There are many amazing food spots in Camden - Laz is unfortunately not one of them. Maybe I am alone in thinking this, but when I see an item on the menu that's a mixed grill for £26.95, I'm expecting a good portion. What arrived on our table was absolutely abysmal. The chicken wings were positively anaemic and I've never seen a mixed grill so stingy - I counted three cubes of chicken and two lamb. No kofte in sight despite it being listed on the menu. Extremely overpriced for what you get, I'd strongly suggest going elsewhere to get your fix for Turkish cuisine

We went there for my birthday celebration. The staff were so unprofessional and rude. Food was not good. They have brought our bill without us asking for it, and they did not take the bill back or say sorry, even though they accepted that we did not ask for it and they were at fault because apparently one of my friends left early and paid for her part so they thought it was okay to bring the entire bill WHILE we were eating the birthday cake and drinking our bottle with our glasses full! Again, in that night loads of problematic behaviours made by the staff which I am not going to try to explain and they still added the service charge. When we want it to be taken off, they started act more rude and did not even say bye, good night or any words and just waited for us to leave! WILL NEVER GO BACK AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE! I hope the owners will do something about all this! Also the music was so irrelevant, the bartender guy was changing the music from pop to dramatic songs to party music in seconds?! I means cmon, be a little professional!

The food was fine. But the portions are small for the price. Mostly you get yoghurt. The service was quick and friendly. The Raki was served warm and with warm water. They gave us ice, but raki needs to be served cold with cold water.

Think of it this way, there are 9 people at the table, tea comes to 6 of them. Nothing after that. That's all for the comment. I'm not saying this to be derogatory. They just need to fix this situation.

Food was disappointing, calamari was clearly not freshly battered, rice tasted like it had come from the microwave, and the lamb kofta was oily and fatty.

And desserts—oh, the desserts! We couldn't resist indulging in baklava and künefe, which were heavenly sweet treats. Overall, Laz Camden Town delivered an unforgettable dining experience. We loved every moment spent here, and we're already planning our next visit to savor more of their exquisite offerings. We celebrated our friend's birthday here, everything was absolutely perfect. The appetizers, meatballs with pita and anchovy pan accompanied with Beylerbeyi navel raki were very delicious. Live music on Saturday evenings is also great for those who love Turkish music and want to have fun. I definitely recommend it and will go again soon.

Always the best time! Friendliest and nicest people, great music, amazing food. Mezze platter is a must, babaganoush is legendary. Cannot speak to meat as i’m vegeterian but Trilece is also the best trilece i’ve ever had (better from all the ones I had in Turkey as well). As a Turkish I rate the food 5 stars so go figure that it’s great!

Staff and atmosphere were very good. The food was not that great, slightly disappointed with food, Steak not great quality not cooked great. the lamb shish quite fatty. chips okay.

Tried the two main course, my fave are the Mediterranean aubergine, as starter, and the Lamb Kofte, as main. Delicious and super tasty. The food is very good and the service lovely.

Absolutely wonderful establishment. I came with my partner and we had two breakfasts (£20pp) with the food in the photo, fantastic quality, great tea and our server was so bubbly and helpful. Highly recommended and you'd be a fool to pass this place by. We will definitely be back for more!

We came here for traditional Turkish breakfast and it is one of the best ones we had in London. It is not in the menu, but if you come here after 11 am in the morning and ask for breakfast, they bring a very delicious set of Turkish breakfast. Considering that there are not too many options in this area, it is a hidden gem and not expensive.

Came here for a meal prior to Jazz Cafe evening show. A good selection on the menu. Food reasonably priced. Many tables full, added to a good atmosphere. I had what I think was the Laz Special. I could be wrong! Would definitely come back here if in Camden.

Friend reserved space for her birthday here and it was a good vibe the entire evening. Food and service were great - there was also live music. Place itself is very cute and definitely gives off modern meyhane vibes.

Delicious Halal Turkish cuisine. Gorgeous the mixed grill and the meat was tender and juicy...too much for 1 person. Service was good, if a bit reserved.

A la place d'un mezze, j'ai reçu une juste fondue au fromage... Un peu difficile à accepter vu que je m'attendais à un mezze, le patron n'a pas reconnu sa faute, et n'a pas fait de compensation sur la note. Au contraire, nous avons eu un surcoût de 2£ pour le service... A part sa ma compagne a pris un tapas d'aubergines grillées: total 30£ pour 2 tapas, un peu cher... Le patron n'a pas été sympa ni accueillant. La musique était agréable par contre.

Great staff and super customer service. The food is delicious and a great mix of soul/comfort food plus healthy sides. Especially the houmous is just marvellous. Highly recommendable are the fish/seafood dishes. Prices are ok when taking into account the circumstances (London/Camden). The restaurant is fantastic!

Weekdays are the best to eat at the Laz. The food is delicious, and the service is great. Mr Davud in charge of the floor,most days, is a great host and a look after his guest in an excellent way. My fave until now is the lamb shish. See you soon!

As a Turkish and a meat lover Lamb chops and lamb cubes are AMAZING! I can say better than Turkey :) also thank you to Davut who made our night fab! Prices is are good to if you want to know. See you again at another Raki night guys! :)

the food was okay. not my favorite mediterranean food but not bad by any means. good portion. however the service sucked. the older gentleman waiter was rude and not personable at all. if he was nicer id probably enjoy this restaurant but there’s plenty of other places in london.

Nice restaurant, warm and friendly front of house members. I only went in for desserts and coffee and we all enjoyed our treats thoroughly. Tres leches , Baklava and Brownie were fresh and tasted heavenly. Good quality coffee 👍🏻

I was on my way to catch my train from Euston. Stop here for breakfast. I am on a gluten and dairy free diet, they have changed their breakfast menu to meet my needs. Food was delicious and unlimited Turkish tea was a bonus. I will definitely go back..

Went to laz@camden based on the generally good reviews and usually Turkish restaurants are always good as a general rule its quite difficult to go wrong with Turkish mixed grills and the traditionally loved meat and fish dishes with rice etc. The Decor and seating: The decor and seating was Lovely and intimate for small or large groups with a nice ambience, definately family freindly and group freindly in that regard, suitable for celebrations or casual get togethers. Accommodation relating to service equipment etc: The menus we were given were not laminated and many of them had food stains on them which was unhygienic and not a comforting experience before your about to eat I got their before anyone else from our large group of 19 had arrived Nd I asked them if they could change out the menus which the waiter then politely informed me that she checked but that was all they had available. During the service cutterly was remove from tables in between starters and mains but not replaced, I personally ended up borrowing the fork and knife of a relative besides me Service: Thmanager of the restaurant who was essentially running servic alongside the two waiters who were assisting the other smaller minority of the restaurant to a larger exstent than our group and a couple other amaller groups who was mainly served by the main manager however on the vouple of ovcasions where the waiters did interact with our table they were very polite polite,fairly sharp and very responsive. The main manager did present alot of problems in the manner of his service; as I saw through the service from 7 to 10 pm from beginning to end he would half gently going menus onto not just our tables but also other tables instead of handing them to people which is pretty non explanatory as to why doing such a thing is unprofessional,bad practice and also rude especially when done on multiple occasions. He removed removed side items from the table before people had ginished with them essentially taking food that people had payed for from the table and without asking if they'd finished on several occasions to the point where due to the fact of the frequency of this and with the other issues people on the table stopped even enquiring for rectifications of issues. Cutlery was removed from tables with cleared dishes without being replaced between meals for some people myself included so I ended up borrowing a falk from someone besides me because I decided to stop enquiring for rectification of certain problembs because it had gotten very bad. On a few occasions the wrong side orders were given to the wrong people/were mixed up by accident; a genuine mistake but the manager was not very hospital in his reaction and was very brash in his movements and responses. The bread which was paid for wasn't served with the hummus as we were told it would be and at certain times the manager would ignore people after listening to their request ; he would look at them then kind of wave his hand a tad in dismissal then 90% of the time he'd come back a minute or so later and these por service responses made up 60 or more percent of the service interactions with him. The food: The chips were very very salty, not one person finished their chips for one of my orders with chips, the chips was abruptly removed from my side plate without asking but I didn't say anything as it was later in the night and I had kind of given up on a good service also they were so salty I definately wouldn't have eaten many more to be honest. The dishes with rice: The rice was plain basaltic with no seasoning and no sauce instead it was rice that had butter and salt mixed with it which was not nice as tge people who had that rice either didn't eat any more after the first 3 or 4 falks or wer dissaapointed as in Turkish restaurant rice is usually at the very east well seasoned and flavourful. Tge meat; The meat was not seasoned at all pretty much every one across the table complained amongst themselves in addition to sending back raw meat 3 times (This is the character limit for my review)
