Really good food!! Brilliant staff and quick service. 👏

This was our second visit and definitely not the last. The food is lovely and fresh. When we go out to eat its really hard to please my husband as he always wants something that can't be cooked from home so this is now our go to restaurant and our missing it to get through the the full menu before the end of the year. Staff are lovely and made us a cocktail that wasn't on the menu which is amaizing service especially when they are so busy. Looking forward already to our next visit ♥️🥂🍾

Honestly really is a 5 star establishment to dine in. Fantastic attentive service. Excellent food with amazing flavour. A little pricey for the area but worth it for the quality of the food and drinks. Dinner menu is set in a tapas style so people on average order 3 dishes each including the tacos. 6 dishes between two of us was plenty with a little room left for churros and a cocktail.

Booked in for the bottomless brunch. Absolute bargain at £35 per head. Two dishes, a main and a side and as many drinks as you want for 90 minutes. I had the brunch burrito with a side of fries, so filling for a brunch dish! They’re not stingy on the drinks at all, they fill you up before you’re done with your last drink. Their service, food and venue itself is stunning. I’ll definitely be back!

Been several times always amazing! been for bottomless brunch today had the lamb birria waffle fries and chipotle prawns, wow amazing! 90 mins and the staff were amazing always making sure we had a drinks

Visited Las Bombas last week .. It was ‘ok’ … The paella was unfortunately not fresh at all & was just a strong taste of tomato! The mac n cheese had a weird fish flavour to (something my Mum pointed out then I couldn’t no taste it) we asked for the steak to be medium rare - hardly any rare at all to be honest! I also asked the waitress to let me know if there was anything that had coriander leaves on as I really don’t like, she said nothing we ordered did - Pretty much all the dishes that came had the garnish on, but by which time what is the point in saying anything! The cheese bread, olives and corn ribs were lovely though and our waitress was really nice! All in all I’d say 7/10! Glad I’ve been but wouldn’t go again!

Excellent food, drinks and atmosphere.

Host was really accommodating in fitting us in when they were booked up. Really enjoyed the food, especially the lamb birria tacos, Brazilian cheese bread and the sticky toffee pudding. We will be back! Only slight criticism is the lack of green veg option as a side for the kids meal.

Sooooo good. Worth the travel away from the city. We drove 30 mins from south Manchester. Atmospheric, great tunes & amazing Latin American soul food. I cannot recommend enough. Yum. Yum. Yum.

Honestly, some of the best food I've ever eaten, being a chef for 8 years, I've tasted some good food. But the seasonings. The cooking of the meat. The sauces are like an explosion of flavour in your mouth, unbelievable jeff. Amazing service by Emily, she explained how the menu worked and took our order. You never have an empty drink on the table. The atmosphere is very relaxed. It's a good vibe with music playing in the background. And I always say it every time I go past ' I love the interior design in there ', just try it for yourself you won't regret it. Pint of estrella is lovely

Magnificent meal to celebrate a birthday. Extremely friendly and attentive staff, and food so delicious, we’ve been dreaming about it all again today. We had the lamb birria taco (to die for!!) and a sharing tray of meats. Highly recommended, with excellent music & strong cocktails to boot. We will be back for sure! Where do I start about Las Bombas……. I’ve been meaning to leave a review since this place opened. We go once a month for our date night and I honestly cannot rate this place enough. I even had my 40th birthday brunch there which was an amazing day! First and most important the food…….. The food is unbelievable, the corn ribs are a taste sensation! Try them you won’t ever taste anything so nice in all your life! The tempura cauliflower is a close second and the meat sharing tray is something else, the steak cooked to perfection, the chorizo, chicken, mac and cheese and fries are all just 😋 The restaurant…. The restaurant itself is like stepping into the depths of a South American rainforest. Luscious greenery, beautiful decor and Latino music in the background. Service….. The manager Emily deserves a special shout out, this girl works her back side off, she doesn’t miss a beat she’s on the ball, your glass is never empty and she is always checking the food was ok after every dish. So friendly, knowledgable and professional. Nothing is too much trouble. All of the staff at Las Bombas are trained to a high standard in customer service which is unheard of these days! The owner and head chef James is a lovely fella he often comes out to have a chat with everyone which is a nice personal touch! He is heading for big things, his food as mentioned above is up there with the best. We have eaten at a lot of “elite” food joints including various Michelin star restaurants and I’m not exaggerating when I say his food is up there! Finally the bar staff work very hard serving beautiful cocktails, wine, beers etc! Go and try for yourself! Xx

Another absolutely brilliant night at Las Bombas. We’ve been telling our friends about it for ages so took them there for a meal. The food was exceptional. Really generous portions and all utterly delicious. Clean plates all round. Our waiter Finn was amazing. He, and the other staff, had a right good laugh with us. We even ended up singing and dancing with the table of strangers behind us. Brilliant atmosphere, exceptional food and service that can’t be rivalled. Keep up the amazing work guys 👍🏼

7 of us booked for the bottomless brunch on Saturday, the amazing staff kept the drinks flowing and the food was the usual faultless standard. Brilliant value and a great time was had by all, I highly recommend this venue, and we'll all be back.

Nice sharing platters. The chorizo was impressive. Tempura fish tacos were tasty too. Good rich and deep flavoured gravy on the taco platter. Shame about patatas bra as though, as they do not come in tomato sauce so that was a surprise.

We hired out the restaurant on Sunday 29 Oct to celebrate my husbands 70th birthday. Atmosphere, setting, food, drinks and service all excellent and we all had a fabulous time. Thanks to James and his staff for making it such a special occasion, we will be back

Las bombas is hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve been to. The food is 10/10 and very reasonably priced, very authentic Latin American. Highly recommend the Birria tacos and the steak, always cooked to perfection. Beer and cocktail selection is also top tier.

Las Bombas is without doubt the best place to eat in the area. The atmosphere, service and most importantly food are phenomenal. I have returned on numerous occasions and it never fails. Highly recommend.

Have dined and drank here on a few occasions now! The food is always full of flavour, there is an excellent drinks selection and a great vibe with the music choice, including live on certain nights. A real asset to the area and I highly recommend all to visit - you won't be disappointed!

The only nice thing I can say about this place is camron who was upstairs seeing us all night was brilliant,he was up and down those stairs like a yoyo... They knew they were having a function upstairs yet the only beer they had upstairs wasn't connected as they didn't have any gas in the bottle,the mixers were all flat too,we had to use the bar downstairs which was situated in the worst possible place right in front of the front doors so people were struggling coming in or out or waiting at the bar...its definitely got the young people's vibe and I'm sure most of the people in there had just literally just turned 18...apart from that the chilli was bang on and the place was clean...

We noticed the menu had changed slightly and we thought the menu before was 10/10 but it turns out you can improve on perfection, who knew! We’re lucky to have such quality in our local area. James is a super talented chef and the fresh South American flavours he conjures up are always a triumph, particularly his ceviches. Highly recommended, and worth travelling from outside of the area to experience it. 5 stars without a doubt.

The food is superb, mixture of Latin American tapas and Latin sharing trays - so tasty! The service was fantastic, it was a busy evening during their fab live music night, the team were so accommodating of us as a walk in. Great cocktails too!

Recently visited one evening was seated told they'd be over with menus sat for 20 mins no service at all ended up leaving say support local businesses but this was just embarrassing! People sat with same empty plates when I arrived to when I left never again 😔

What an amazing place this is, a beautiful ambiance when you walk in with all the qualities of a top Manchester restaurant but set in a local village in Irlam. The food is delicious and there's lots to choose from, the waiting staff are very attentive and make you feel so welcome, it’s based on a Latino South American feel. This restaurant has lots to offer including live music on a Thursday evening with different artists each week. There is a fabulous terrace at the back to relax and unwind in, 100% worth a visit.

The food here is absolutely unreal. The pork belly especially is 10/10. Lovely people here and can't say enough about the food.... There's no actual words for how nice this food is.

We went for the food, so can't comment on the outside or upstairs bars. The food was decent, less than you'd expect for the price, we got a sharing platter and I could have eaten it myself. Good quality though. I can only assume they'd had staff go sick because the service was so slow, even a glass of water took nearly 30 minutes and repeated asking. Despite this, we will return and hope that they have addressed the staffing issues.

First visit of what will certainly be many. Great atmosphere and surroundings with staff who are friendly and attentive but never make you feel crowded or rushed. We decided to go on account of the vegetarian options and were really impressed with the choice and the high quality: the roast cauli tacos in particular were outstanding. Would definitely recommend.

It's so so gorgeous here. Went here to do a short film for uni a while ago. The manager james was so wonderful to let us film. And I wanted to show thanks by coming for a family meal. Today we did that. We all enjoyed our meal so much! I had the chicken taco and mmmm wonderful! We will deffo come again soon! 🥰😋

Fantastic food and great atmosphere!

Food was unreal! Had the Sunday roast and the truffle gravy wasn’t over powering as you get most places! The beef was melt in your mouth and honestly no complaints!

As I live locally I've been meaning to book a table at Las Bombas but never got round to it. I shouldn't have put it off for so long as this is an excellent restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious, atmosphere fantastic and staff really friendly. Prices are very fair. Only slight issue was the time it took to get our drinks, but I think this was due to having so many large tables of people all at roughly the same time. Like I say only a minor issue. Will definitely be returning sooner rather than later.

Was recommended this restaurant and it did not let us down, was a great experience from arrival, service and the food was by far the best we've had in a restaurant for a long time. Will certainly be back.

Booked a table for 11 and we all loved it. The food was amazing and reasonably priced. We had a bit of everything and couldn’t fault any of it. The service was excellent, very attentive and all the food came out piping hot and was very fresh

First time dining here, 100% recommended! Went for the Steak night (Wednesday), perfectly cooked, good quality steak and sides. Great selection of drinks too. Will be back soon!

A fantastic experience. The food was wonderful, extremely fresh and clearly so much care taken in the cooking and presentation. We started with the Nachos and Jalapeño poppers (not on the menu as a dish but we saw them on one of the sharing platters and requested them as a starter) and then had the Surf & Turf sharing platter. All of the food was perfect. The guacamole and chimichurri were sensational! There is clearly a significant amount of time and effort that has been put into the recipes and the project as a whole. It’s taken us a while to visit but we wish we had sooner. The staff were so attentive and polite. A perfect experience, easily the best restaurant in the area. Thank you and we can’t wait till our next visit.

A hidden gem, fresh tapas with a twist!

Seriously good food with efficient service. Only slight downside is there was a loud table of brunching ladies across from us. But, more power to them; they were clearly enjoying themselves, as were we. Tasty but strong sangria and the chimichanga is even better. Las Bombas is another nail in town’s coffin — branch out and be rewarded. Highly recommended.

Table booked for 7pm - arrived and promptly served our drinks, pint of Malaga and a fab Cava Sangria. There was a large party in and our lovely waitress Phoebe said that rather than ordering and waiting a while for food were we ok to hang fire and have some complimentary nibbles whilst they dealt with the large party. We felt that was great communication and service and enjoyed corn chips, pork cracking and olives. Within no time we had then ordered Cod Fitters and the Grill Tray. Food came in good time and was of the highest standard and we both thoroughly enjoyed. More beers, Cava Sangria and a lovely Sauvignon Blanc completed our evening along with a couple of complimentary tequila rose shots. Fabulous service all evening, great ambience and would highly recommend.

No doubt the best Latin-American restaurant in Greater Manchester and the best restaurant to go to, by far, in Irlam. Great value for excellent food. Great quality in food and service. The plates to share are the way to go. Always full of flavour, even the sweet corn is nicely seasoned. For someone like me, who is from South America, Las Bombas genuinely delivers authentic Latin-American flavours that remind me of cuisine I grew up with.

Would recommend las bombas to everyone. We have been on a couple of occasions for both food and just for drinks. The food is amazing. Can’t recommend it enough. Also would like to mention the staff. There was a mix up which was my fault and they have handled it brilliantly. I’m not sure who I have corresponded with via email but want to say a massive thank you for being very understanding and kind and for this we Will definitely be going back.

Excellent cocktails and would recommend the steak with a peppercorn sauce. It was perfect.

We would 100% recommend visiting Las Bombas, it has such a great atmosphere and the staff are so lovely and attentive. They had lots to choose from for Gluten Free food also, and the staff made sure we were aware of what included gluten from what we chose. The food was absolutely delicious, we have definitely found a new favourite place! The Sangria is also so tasty! We will definitely be back!

Came for the bottomless brunch on Sat 18th Nov, once sat down we was waited on by 2 girls. One of them (with red hair) was really friendly, smiley and attentive but my god the other one needs to learn customer's service skills....starting with a smile!!. Everything seemed to be so much effort for her! Anyway apart from the miserable looking girl it was a great atmosphere, great food, and plenty of alcholic beverages was had with it being a bottomless brunch....well worth the money. Just a shame the girl with long dark hair had to be so miserable when serving us!

Extremely pleasantly surprised. One of the best restaurants I’ve been to - much better than 99% of the high profile restaurants in central Manchester. A little gem in Irlam, where the food quality is outstanding.

Been a few times since opening and cannot fault it. Food is on point and portions are generous. Service is always great and if you head in on a Thursday evening they often have live music. Boosted the nightlife in the local area and already planning our next bottomless brunch. Make sure you try the corn ribs 😍

Just moved to the area and am so glad this little gem is just round the corner! Staff are so friendly, great atmosphere, the food was amazing value and it was all in all a great night. Cannot reccomend enough
