We visited Lamlash House for afternoon tea on Mothers Day and what a fabulous experience it was. The sandwiches and cakes were delicious and the hospitality extended by Gordon, Jonathan and the rest of the staff was wonderful. A lovely way to spend an afternoon and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you!

We had the pleasure of attending a Taste of Burns evening at this lovely venue. The hosts Gordon and Jonathon were very welcoming, the set three course meal cooked by a local chef using local produce resulted in an explosion of tastes and the entertainment by Erin and Craig singing a selection of Burns songs added to a perfect evening. I would highly recommend this amazing place and we look forward to a return visit soon.

This was my first visit and was very impressed with the decor and exquisite food. Staff were very attentive and the drinks were fabulous- perfectly mixed. I am probably being picky but as it is a small group dining it would have been nice if someone had described each course before it came out and the chef had introduced himself at the end so we could thank him for the delicious meal.

Thank you both very much for our amazing wedding day.  Your attention to detail was very impressive and made us all feel amazing.  We could not have asked for better hosts, especially Gordon's funky moves on the dance floor.  You have an outstanding venue which made both Henry and I  feel very privileged to have as our wedding day.  All our guests were so impressed with your home and were very complimentary of the food provided by your chef.  A special thank you to your staff, especially Pauline who was very attentive to Kerry and I throughout the day.  We may not have had the perfect weather but this did not detract from the wonderfull and unique experience of Lamlash House. Sincere gratitude for everything you both did for us.

A truly stunning venue with impeccable food and five star service. We recently hosted my Grandad’s 90th birthday party at Lamlash House and it was simply the perfect venue. The rooms are beautifully decorated and were more than sufficient in size for our party of 20. Johnathan and Gordon were charming hosts, willing to go the extra mile to ensure all needs were met. The afternoon tea was sublime - a lovely array of sandwiches, delicious scones and a patisserie selection worthy of a Parisian boulangerie. The Vault Bar was very well stocked with an excellent choice of Scottish gins. Their suggested band was fantastic and provided excellent jazz-style music for dancing. The volume was perfect for the size of space, and allowed conversations to flow for those who had left their dancing shoes at home. Our expectations were high and we were not disappointed. I would recommend to all!

We enjoyed an afternoon tea dance at this wonderful venue to celebrate a milestone birthday. And what an afternoon! From the beautiful surroundings (think a touch of One Devonshire Gardens mixed with Rennie Macintosh), to the exquisite food ( five star in its presentation )to the wonderful hospitality of owners Johnathan and Gordon to the mellow tones of Route 71 Jazz band - it was a party to remember. The afternoon was expertly organised and effortless to plan thanks to the guiding hands of the owners. Their attention to detail is second to none. This is the perfect venue for a bespoke event.

I had the pleasure of being a wedding photographer at Lamlash House recently. The venue was awesome, the management was efficient and friendly. This venue is perfect for small events, and I would recommend a discussion with the owners to check if it suits your needs.

Visited the beautiful Lamlash House for afternoon tea with my family. On entering, you are immediately struck by a sense of wonder at the interior design and love that has clearly been lavished upon every room and space within. Out afternoon tea was had in the Parlour. Loved everything about the room....antique plus modern furniture and 'my favourite' brass ornamentation all nestled and surrounded with William Morris wallpaper and a roaring, blessing of an open fire. The afternoon tea itself consisted of delicately made sandwiches and a fine selection of cakes & biscuits, all mouth wateringly good. My sister & myself chose from the cocktail menu, which when arrived were presented in the loveliest tea cup, saucer and teapot, wonderfully quirky. The staff could not do enough for you and we were even treated by the owners to a history of Lamlash House and a little sneaky peek out with the areas the public are normally allowed. As I will be moving into the area soon, I plan to visit Lamlash House again, as it is unique in its surroundings and also in the service that is gifted to one and all.

Attended today for a private afternoon tea to celebrate a friends engagement. I can't say enough good things about this beautiful venue. It has been brought back to it's former glory and has been painstakingly restored. It's warm, inviting and cosy but also has a feeling of grandeur. It really does feel like you are somewhere very special. The staff and owners are just lovely and take the time to tell you the history of the former bank and how they have restored Lamlash house over the years. The food and presentation is sensational and the drinks are fab too and they have a great selection. Service was just excellent and they couldn't have done anymore. Lamlash house is a truly unique experience and I would highly recommend that anyone should visit. I'll be going back as soon as I possibly can!

We've just been to Lamlash House for afternoon tea following a morning funeral service. The hosts, Gordon and Johnathan, and their staff couldn't have been more attentive and the food and service was excellent. The restored List B house is a little gem rarely found in the Irvine valley and a great place for family and friends to meet up. We will definitely be looking out for future events here for our return trip.

I have had the pleasure of attending two events at the beautifully appointed Lamlash House in July (a Summer Garden menu and a Tasting menu evening) with my partner and some friends. We had the best time as the food was delicious and we were so well looked after by the hosts Gordon and Johnathan and their excellent staff. When you visit Lamlash House you know that it is going to be an experience to be remembered as the level of service, ambience and quality of cuisine is really first class. Highly recommended.
