Literally the best tasting Asian food I’ve had in Leeds. We were served by AJ who looked after us from the moment we walked in. He advised us on the menu and couldn’t have been a better host. We will definitely be returning. Highly recommended.

AJ gave us fantastic service as soon as we walked through the door, professional & courteous. Explained the menu well, gave recommendations and adjusted dishes to both mine & my husband’s taste. Food was outstanding! Flavour & spice levels were perfect. Restaurant decor is stunning. Look forward to returning soon!

Visited today for an Iftar meal. Although it was busy which is expected, the service and food was excellent! The waiter Tariq was very welcoming and friendly, filled up our glasses of water and was generous with the complimentary fruits and water and went out of his way for us. The interior of the place was perfect for both a dressy or casual vibe, would definitely recommend to everyone!

Standout service & superb food! A large number of us visited Lala’s for a company group iftaar. Food choices were provided in advance which proved to be the right thing to do given the size of the group. We had the benefit of a private room and the starters were all served in a timely fashion. Presentation & taste were both great. Mains were delicious; again served efficiently so no one was left waiting. Zeeshan, who was looking after us, did so beautifully, he was attentive and on the ball. Big shoutout to Zeeshan. AJ served desserts with a smile and he too did a great job in making sure that we were suitably fed and happy. Very impressed at the service received which made for a lovely evening. Thank you!

The best food as always. Avoid the meat curries as it's always dry and doesn't taste nice. But everything else is perfect.

Very expensive, prices are shocking! Not used to paying £120 for a 3 people....l had to check my bill twice to see what l had ordered. The service is okay once you are seated, but the queues are silly...people like myself who had booked a table were waiting upto an hour beforehand....the foyer is not large enough to hold so many people, many of which were young families with young kids...just looking to enjoy a nice evening out...which sadly this was not 😔....l understand you can't put a timer on peoples mealtimes and when families or friends get together they want to make the most of it, so l get you can't rush people off their tables, however there is such a thing as overbooking....which is what they seem to do...a lot! I guess they have to in order to pay for the lavish interior, which by the way is beautiful, but at the cost of poor customer service and not so great food l'm afraid. A lot of fancy, but no flavour, and certainly not value for money.

I came with my friend last night and it was honestly the nicest curry I’ve ever had. I had a prawn curry with Asian spices which was recommended and it had so much flavour. Not only this but the owner of LaLa’s came to our table and spoke with us and had a lovely conversation with us. Highly recommend

when I first walked in a man in glasses & black suit was absolutely disrespectful , shouted at me for no reason told him to watch his mouth horrible service from him. Overall food and service from other staff was great 👍

Booked for 6pm 10 of us thinking it will be quite how wrong was we packed to the rafters, great atmosphere for sure, service was absolutely 1st class and the food was delicious definitely recommended.

Had a lovely family meal here, food was really tasty and service was great. Our waiter, Sunny, was very friendly and nothing was too much. He was constantly making sure we were ok and had everything we needed, including the 2 toddlers that were with us.

I often eat here, love the food choice and quality, the service is excellent one of my favourite places to eat!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this restaurant! The atmosphere was extremely pleasant, with elegant decor and relaxing ambient music, perfect for a quiet dinner. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish carefully prepared using fresh ingredients. The service was impeccable, and the staff was very welcoming and attentive. I must especially mention Sunny, our waiter, who stood out for his exceptional professionalism. I was truly impressed by his attention to detail, the excellent recommendations he gave us, and the way he went above and beyond to ensure our experience was perfect. I will definitely return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience!

We came to Layla’s last night for a meal. Wow what a beautiful place. Aesthetically pleasing, amazing service and the best curry I have ever eaten. We came from Hull for the night and was recommended LaLas and it did not disappoint. We had the lamb madras, chicken tikka masala, rice, chips and a garlic naan. The flavours and texture of the curries were outstanding. Generous portions I took half of my curry home as I was so full. Food arrived quickly and it was piping hot. We did not book but arrived early 4.30 and was kindly accommodated with a smile. As we left it was very full so I would recommended booking if you do not want to be disappointed. Big thank you to our waiter sorry if the name is not correct (Anshan) very helpful with the menu choices for my partner who does not regularly eat curry and was not sure what to get. Also for the recommendation of a lovely cocktail. Please bring a LaLas to Hull 🙏.

No salad and asked for salad. Pakoras where like they’ve been microwaved. Curry is just bland. Nothing compared to international. We’ve only tried because it’s closed. Rice was white pilai rice too sweet. Chapattis where horrible. Fish pakora absolutely disgusting and the delivery driver was rude as hell.

Just took my step son for a treat night & in his words ‘best curry ever!’ We had such a lovely time, staff were responsive, friendly & chatty and the food was perfect.

I cannot recommend enough about this place. Loved from the moment I stepped in , the service was brilliant especially someone called Sunny who served us was really nice especially with my kids. Would definitely come again.

Amazing Restaurant, new refurb is absolutely beautiful, the best looking restaurant around, the food is 10/10. Service was top notch, and the staff are really polite and always made sure everything was good. I definitely recommend, you won't be disappointed.

Nice ambience, tasty food! Slightly expensive than others. Went in for dinner for Valentine's day. The place was crowded but I didn't have to wait much to be seated. Parking was available inside the restaurant area. Service was good, will visit and and would highly recommend!

The service at Lalas was exceptional! Uncle Tariq and Sunny seriously impressed by the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff and their service. The food was simply brilliant, lwith flavor and was beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was a delight, and it truly enhanced our dining experience. We left feeling satisfied and eager to return for another delicious meal! Excited to come again thankful to both our waiters uncle tariq and sunny again for the incredible service.

What a lovely family night out at La’La’s for me and my family - warm welcome along with great service- Shoaib our waiter couldn’t do enough for us - he went above and beyond to look after us especially my two boys - one which has nut and egg allergies.Our boys where made to feel like vip which left them smiling from ear to ear - food was excellent especially the mixed grill for starters - well worth the drive from Middlesbrough - will be returning again soon,

The food and the service was excellent. We booked for Saturday 22 Feb. Just as well the waiting area was packed. We’ve been several times and we have never been disappointed. We must say a big thank you to our waiter Arsalan. Nothing was too much trouble, he worked with a smile on his face and was a true gentleman.

Lala’s is a beautiful restaurant! We have visited a few times now, and enjoy it every time. We were seated quickly, despite it being busy, and the food was good. Special thanks to Tarek for his friendly service!

Tables way too small not enough space to put our food on all we're shoved together not much space and ordered paneer tika absolutely no taste whatsoever no sauce nothing they spend so much on decorations of restaurant but don't pay attention toward the food they giving which is tastless very disappointing

Zee at Lala's was amazing he even got us something that wasn't on the menu! Atmosphere was lovely service was impeccable - very accomodating and the food and deserts were amazing! Decor was lovely and everything was very clean. Overall a fantastic experience and will definitely be back again. I think this is a fave for me!

We had a wonderful dining experience at Lala’s in Bradford, and a big part of that was thanks to our waiter, Sunny. From the moment we arrived, he was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive. He made sure we were comfortable, checked in regularly without being intrusive, and had a great attitude throughout. His excellent customer service and warm personality really added to the experience. The food was amazing as always, but the service from Sunny truly stood out. If you’re dining at Lala’s, I’d definitely recommend asking for him you won’t be disappointed! Highly recommend this place, and a big thank you to Sunny for making our visit so enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back!

Birthday meal for grandma 21 again! We were a party of 12 which included 4 children. The staff went over and above and couldn't do enough for us especially AJ he was lovely helpful and very cheerful made it an enjoyable evening. Food was great all came out together and was enjoyed by all. Highly recommend La La's and thank you to Zaf too also great guy.

my 5* review would be 4* overall but the 5* is for the service from uncle Tariq And uncle Zafar. Theres many a place to dine in Bradford, food galore so nothing is ever wow BUT my experience at Lalas was superceeded by the service and comfort provided by these two. Beautiful and well spoken, respectful and attending, Lalas could, SHOULD really use the priceless experience, wisdom and expertise of such individuals to train and motivate their younger staff. When youve clearly invested alot in creating the beautiful restaurant you have, the level of service must also match. My review may fall on deaf ears but from a business perpective, you have a great establishment, by recognising and utilizing the capabilities of the staff you have, you could soar x

I had a lovely meal with friends tonight and had a great time. The atmosphere is great, beautiful interior and tasty food. I'm rating a 5* for the exceptional service by Uncle Tariq and Zafar, although they were not the designated waiters for where I were seated, they were quick and helpful considering its a busy Saturday evening. They are a great asset to Lalas, it's always nice having staff who are approachable and friendly, making the experience that much better!!

Too expensive charging high prices

Today 22/2/25 I attended Lala's booked for 7:30pm never got seating till 9pm, they obviously over booked, by the time we got a table we obviously didn't feel hungry had to get everything packed and brought home. Due to this I came with my family from Scotland very disappointed as I have always hyped Lala's.

Absolutely amazing experience tonight with exceptional service and really nice food. We we're served by Sunny who couldn't have done more for us. Really polite, professional and helpful. 5 stars all round.

This place is not worth any stars! I am absolutely disappointed in the service. I have never in my time recieved such appalling service. I walked in and I thought first am I in a bar or is this a private party! There was no co-ordination it's just a total shambles! It's a health and safety hazard waiting to happen. There is no where to stand and there must have been over 50 people at the entrance. The lady standing there was doing the best she could, but nothing was in her control, so why is she the front line and the face of lala if she does not have that authority. We were booked for a specific time to be then told it's going to be another 30 to 45 minute wait. The owner was arrogant and rude when questioned the response was disappointing. I would never put foot back in there after being treated so poorly.

I went a couple of days ago. I expected so much more and was VERY disappointed with what we got. Prices are extortionate especially for what you’re paying for, I don’t mind paying that much if the food was good however it wasn’t and the food was very bland with minimal taste. Staff were unorganised and running here and there, the atmosphere was just not good and it seemed like everyone was on edge. I understand it can get busy but I expected it to be managed more professionally. When I went home the same day I had very bad food poisoning. I had a stomach aches/cramps, was throwing up, running to the toilet throughout the night and this carried on for 2 days. People need to AVOID this place and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Where do I start I booked for a table of 8 and arrived on time only to be told my booking wasn’t for the time I stated, got past all that and was told to wait 15/20 mins mind you I’ve got 3 small kids who were starving by that time, traveled a long way to dine at lalas don’t know why I bothered. The entrance was like a club no where to stand was just a total mess, when I approached the owner he was no help at all if anything I saw pure arrogance in him, The door staff ain’t got no hope as he just over rides the bookings department I definitely will not be going here again there’s a big variety of restaurants in that area so it won’t be missed.

I visited Lala’s on Valentine’s Day with my wife and my seventeen month old baby. Wow. What an amazing experience! The exterior of the building was classy and contemporary. We walked into the restaurant greeted by plenty of warm and smiley faces. We were taken to our table and then the waiter introduced himself professionally and explained how he would be looking after us for the dinner. The other waiters stopped by every now and then and had made an effort with my boy, interacting with him and making him smile. Often when you have a young child you can sit there worrying that you’re disturbing or annoying other customers. This was not the case here, the waiters made us all feel welcome. Before I move on, thank you to Arsalan for providing a professional and kind service to us. The lavish interior of the restaurant along with the cutlery, menu and plates added to the restaurant’s ambience. Lala’s undoubtedly stands out as the best looking restaurant in the Bradford/Pudsey area. The perfect atmosphere, lighting and music created a lovely ambience to the restaurant. For starters, we savoured lamb chops and seekh kebabs. The seekh kebabs were delightful, while the lamb chops, were not as impressive as some of the competitors. They were were still flavorful and set us up nicely for the main course. For the mains, we opted for the Karahi Ghost (meat) and Tandoori Chicken Masala. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and generously portioned, leaving us with leftovers to enjoy for later. The naan bread was equally impressive, its size and taste was lovely. To conclude our meal, we indulged in the ‘Sweet Like Chocolate’ cake. Rich and chocolatey, it was a delightful treat to end the meal. I highly recommend getting this to share. Lala’s recent recognition in the local press as one of the best restaurants is well-deserved. This review, and my pictures, do not do it justice. You will need to get yourself down to truly experience it. I hope the staff maintains their professional service and keeps the restaurant clean and aesthetically pleasing. With these qualities, Lala’s will undoubtedly remain the premier Indian restaurant in the Bradford/Leeds area. Keep up the good work.

Highly recommend La La's. Been a number of times, and here twice with family and friends over last couple of weeks. Shoaib is just splendid and looked after us all wonderfully again tonight. Everything just works, it's busy but I'm never rushed. Drinks, starters, main meal all arrive smoothly and are super tasty. Thank you to the chefs and servers. We were a 3 generation family group celebrating birthdays. We were welcomed warmly and served promptly. The food was delicious and plentiful. Our young waiter was a joy!

The atmosphere was so lovely here. The decor and interior were stunning and perfect for pictures and to upload on socials. The food was amazing and 10/10. The staff were so lovely, especially Ehsan who served us. He was very kind and made sure we were very comfortable. Also thank you so much for the complimentary desert as it was so unexpected but such a delight. Will definitely be coming back here again !!!!

UNREAL. I want to live here. The place is absolutely beautiful. The staff are SO friendly and proactive. We loved Tariq and how kind he was. Zeeshan was our main waiter and he was just so organised and made sure we had our drinks and food. We were finally approached the charismatic AJ who made our night overall bliss. THE FOOD WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD! And I am not kidding it was the BEST Virgin Pina Colada I’ve had in my life 🍹 Chefs kiss.
